Stolen Lies (Truths and Lies Duet, #2)

I needed the conclusion to this duet like I needed the air to breathe. Stolen Lies was alllll that and more!!!! Hidden Truths leaves off with Talia disappearing/missing. Was she’s taken? Did she disappear on her own? Ugh I had endless thoughts running through my mind.

Kostas is leaving no stone unturned in the search of his missing wife. He is dark and menacing and shows no mercy. He is allll alpha male. A mafia king. Strong and powerful. Not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Talia is a warrior. She is fierce! So gosh darn fierce! I am in awe of her strength and resilience. She is a mafia queen. She wears that title proudly. Standing beside her husband.

Kostas and Talia are one of my favorite mafia couples to date! These two authors need to write me more books

Words can not even come close to expressing everything that I felt while reading this book. It was an absolutely perfect ending for this story.

So good! Perfect ending to such a good story. I love how Nikki and K. Webster just work so well together. Worth reading.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so wrapped up in a book until reading Stolen Lies. It was everything I could have hoped for to end the Truth and Lies duet, yet somehow unexpected at the same time. I don’t even have words to describe how utterly brilliant Hidden Truths and Stolen Lies were. If you’re in the mood for something a bit darker, this is it.

A heart pumping riveting read full of revenge, blood, love and survival. Nikki Ash and K Webster unite in the final conclusion to the Truth and Lies duet with Stolen Lies. You abso-freaking-lutely must read Hidden Lies prior to reading this new release. Ash and Webster start exactly where they left readers hanging. Their story took many ruthless twists and turns as Kostas and Talia’s brutally dark romance came to a conclusion that left me breathless hanging on the edge of my seat.

LOVED this ending. What a fantastic duet. I could not put the book down, and went through so many emotions. A must read for sure.

I loved every single thing about this book. I thought it was a great conclusion to this do it. I can’t wait to read what Nikki writes next.

Just Wow! With These Two Right Now…..

I thought book one put me over the edge?! It had nothing on book two! I mean well of course it did, but ya know what I mean lol…. I pretty much blew off work all day so I could read this conclusion. I had to. I was so into this story, I just couldn’t bring myself to walk away from these characters. It’s been 5 days and I still miss them.

I miss them because during the time I was with them, Kostas and Talia pretty much owned me. They might have started out as the unlikeliest of couples, but watching them come together (albeit sometimes in the most precarious of ways) was fabulous. I just couldn’t get enough and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

If it’s one thing Ash and Webster are good at, it is most definitely suspense! No matter how much you think you know, ya just don’t and I think they kinda thrive on that lol….

This was a heart-stopping, adrenaline fueled, sexy, steamy, crazy read and I loved every freaking minute of it! I really hope some of these side characters get their own stories because I would love to revisit this crew!

‘Stolen Lies’ is the second and final book in the ‘Truths and Lies’ duet by the incredible K Webster and Nikki Ash! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from cover to cover and give you full-body goosebump with every turn!

This is an unbelievable continuation to the first book, ‘Hidden Truths’, that couldn’t have been more perfect! I mean honestly, after finishing the first book I sat and thought about what would be coming next trying to prepare myself mentally, but boy oh boy was that pointless.
From the very beginning ‘Stolen Lies’ shocked me and left me speechless, it messed with my mind in the best way possible, owned my whole being, so essentially nothing could’ve ever prepared me for what I was about to read.

The range of emotions this book was able to get out of me goes beyond my ability to believe! From anger to hope, frustration to passion, hate to love, fear to powerfulness, this story has put me through the wringer and if I could, I’d do it all over again.

The representation of Heaven and Hell on earth, the parallels with Pluto and Proserpina’s story, the talent used to bring this fictional world to life before your eyes, the characters’ ability to reach the reader and invade their mind. These are the reasons why this duet is so incredible, so unique and a must-read.

Kostas is a villain to the world, the monster stories are created around, the fears you have late at night when you are home alone in the dark, the very thing people warn you to stay away. He is a ruthless King with the body of a God and the mind of a genius.
He is calculating and observant, mean and captivating, someone you fear with everything you have in you or challenge only to see yourself lose.
But beneath all that hard and stoic exterior lies a loving and caring man who will do anything to get his Queen back, just to worship the ground she walks on, challenge her at every turn, anger her and then love her passionately and unconditionally.

Talia is a born Demetriou Queen, she is strong and resilient, sharp and steady, she is as quiet and as deadly as viper if you cross her and you will wish you never did. She is caring, sweet, loving, she tries to always see the best in people but sometimes there just isn’t any.
Talia is an amazing woman, ready to fight ’til she dies to protect her family, she is vengeful and plain dangerous. Her innocent looks just help hide the wicked darkness she has inside, but lucky for her, her dark King loves her even more because of it.

Their story evolves between book one and this, it becomes fiercer, stronger, more dangerous and deadlier. Their love is unconditional and a perpetual fire that never dies, despite the circumstance.
Fire and ice run through Kostas and Talia’s veins, keeping them cool and collected while also raging with anger and ready to pounce on their prey.
A perfect but deadly hurricane made by the combination of two forces no one can stop, no matter how many times they try.

The villain in this story turns out to actually be the dragon, a monster but a good kind of monster, a hero for a few people and the rest of the world’s worst nightmare.
The princesses in need of help turn out to be strong and brave *ss queens who’d rather die before allowing a man to save them.
The rats, well they end up dead and buried six feet under. Where they belong:)

This is a must-read for my dark lovers out there, those that love a good psycho hero and a feisty heroine, those who will go to the ends of the earth with these characters and go through the good and the bad for them. The starting point to Stolen Lies isn’t played out slowly. Everything goes at break neck speed and you just have to hold for the ride. Oh there were certain characters throughout the story that I wanted dead. Just dead. These characters didn’t know the meaning of the word family, loyalty, or love. There were so many hidden truths. There were so many lies that needed to be uncovered. Ugh… I felt for the man. Kostas’ character didn’t do a complete 180 from how he was perceived in Hidden Truths, which I was happy about. He was a man that had to bleed literally and figuratively for his happily ever after. Talia… I loved this woman. She was so damn fierce. Throughout the story, she becomes more and more of who she was meant to be. I’m curious about her brother, Phoenix. Will he have a story?
