A story that is full of action, drama and suspense. It has hot sexy scenes that add so much spice to it. I love the characters and their banter throughout the story. It is well written and the flow of the story is superb. Gia and Dante have magnificent chemistry that is felt throughout the story it is most definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.
If you love to read books which are full of action, twists, hot alpha males who would do anything for their feisty females then you really have to give this book a try. The plot it’s so well written that you won’t want to stop reading it until you haven’t reached “the end”. The storyline is amazing and the chemistry between the main characters is off the charts!!!
I highly recommend this book!
His aim was to kill, hers to protect and when they collide sparks bursts and passion arouse. Characters with an explosive chemistry and a story with intense emotions and exciting scenes that left me wanting more. Dante knew what was at stake and was struggling with his desire to dominate and submit. Gia was trying to resist but knew she only had one choice. But decisions have consequences and they had to face them at risk of their lives. Would they find their true bond or fail? Enjoyed the detailed descriptions and narrations that made me picture the scenes. Liked Dante’s strong character, his skills and passion. The twist in the story left me thinking and hope for more information about Gia and of course, the next story. Action, suspense, intrigue, magic, betrayal, violence and hot passion kept me very interested and entertained.
Whew! Great smoking start to a new series. Sparks are still coming off my kindle. Talk about chemistry. We’re introduced to a real alpha and his mate—but Fae and humans don’t mix well. Then fate steps in and you’ll have to read the story to see what happens. Prepare for a straight-through read. You won’t be able to stop once you’ve started. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
The plot in this book is absolutely fantastic it has all the things in it
that holds your interest.
The chemistry between the characters is great.
If the rest of the series is any thing like this first book than we are in for
some great reading.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
OMG…what an AWESOME beginning of a new series. Intrigue, chemistry, angst, good guys and bad guys, a fae and human with secrets all leads to an explosion of bad guy against a fae and his human mate. Looking forward to the next in this series.

Good quick read
I found this to be a good quick easy read, that was quite hot. Definitely a lot of sex, along with sex talk. I found some words a bit overly used and the story strayed from it’s original content, to mostly sex lol. It was a decent read though.
Gia is a human agent, in fact she’s the first human to be inducted into the Shifter Bureau of Intelligent. She’s going to set the trend, if she can prove herself, she will set the way for more humans to join.
Dante is a Fae assassin, charged with killing the new Fae leader Amara, she wants to form alliances with many other forms of life, that’s not the Fae way, so she’s got to die. The Fae Elders don’t want alliances, they think themselves superior to all other forms of life.
Killing Amara won’t be a problem, the problem comes from a human shield that stands in the way of the bolt of energy that was aimed for Amara horrified, Dante grabs the human female and teleports away…..
Dante and Gia have a lust at first sight meeting. A hot moment has them almost forgetting their assignments, almost. But Dante recovers quicker and leaves Gia wondering why.
Dante knows she’s his mate, but it’s not the right time. But when is ever the right time? And when they meet again at the inauguration of the new fae leader, Dante almost kills Gia. So he does the one thing he really shouldn’t do, he does a soul-bond with her. Tying her to him forever.
Watching him fight his feelings for Gia was interesting, he knows who she is to him, he’s torn, a loyal solider, a good assassin, and now that’s all thrown away, all because of her!! He is an arrogant male. Totally conceited, a male you just want to smack. But as he gets to know her, it fun to watch her wrap him around her finger.
I have to admit, the book is good, some of the dialogue is a little cheesy and a little cringeworthy. But it’s a solid story, the characters are great, I could imagine the hunky Dante with no problem. And the other characters that were in this book were well fleshed out.
The action scenes I felt could have been a little better. And maybe less sex (it goes on chapter after chapter!)
It’s the first in a five book series. I’m hoping we get to see Amara with her own story and that fiery dragon shifter Jessica, who is Gia’s friend gets one too.
A new author and series is always a shot in the dark. And told by the first person, not always my favourite type of book.
But for most of the book I enjoyed it. Alpha males who fall hard and fast, and kicka$$ females who don’t back down.
The 49 pages that I got was a good start of the book but left me hanging,, I thought that the book was a regular book must be this was just sample. I enjoyed what I got of the book!
This is my first book by Laxmi and I am blown away. I loved every single thing about this book. There was steam, adventure, beautifully written, amazing story line I look forward to more books by Laxmi. I love everything PNR. And don’t get me started on the narration by the dynamic duo of Wen & Kai. Love them!!
This one wasn’t really for me, it wasn’t that I was badly written or anything it actually wasn’t.
It was just that It lacked substance and was mainly about the smut.
Don’t get me wrong I like it as much as the next girl but this story was mainly the sex at the expense of the actual storyline itself.
I thought the world-building and the plot were also rather lacking.
Add in the constant two-ing and throwing when it came to Dante and Gia’s affections and it got a tad tiresome.
It seemed that they themselves didn’t even know what they wanted and where they were at.
This is basically a fated mate’s story and I did finish this but won’t be continuing on any further with this series.
If you want something quick and easy and that’s all about the heat then this may be a fit for you.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Stolen by the Fae (Fae’s Claim #1).

This is the first book I’ve read by Laxmi Hariharan and it will not be the last! I loved this book! Super steamy and the chemistry between Gia and Dante . The side characters even though not much is said about then also intrigued me. Can’t wait to read the next book. I’ve never read a FAE book before and wow I’ve been missing out.
4.5 stars
Gia is the only human working at the Bureau and is given the highest honor of protecting the new head of Moscow, Amara. Celebrating the night before the swearing in ceremony, Gia is at a bar when she is suddenly scented by Dante a male Fae. There is something between them but neither one can put a finger on it. The only sure thing is that they are inexplicably drawn to each other. The problem is that they are enemies as Dante is tasked with killing Amara to keep the status quo for his kind. When a miscalculation goes awry at the swearing in ceremony and Gia gets caught in the crossfire, Dante has no recourse but to take her to save her life. How far is Dante willing to go to protect what is his? The chemistry between the two is lethal and the scenes are steamy and descriptive. This is one book that once you start, you will not put down. It is action packed, loaded with twists and underlying all is the romance between the characters and watching it grow. It is definitely for readers over the age of eighteen. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this story.
Dante is part of the fae and an assassin sent to kill the Moscow leader Amara. Gia is the first human assigned to protect Amara. The two meet in a bar with neither knowing what the other does for a living. The attraction is there from the start of their meeting. Gia gets caught in the crossfire when Dante tries to kill Amara. Dante saves Gia by bonding with her even though he doesn’t want or have time in his life for a mate. Gia ends up running from Dante but he’s determined to get her back. Pure lust, kinkery and feelings of eventual love come into play between these two dynamic characters.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
*WARNING* contains sexual content and cussing
Dante and Gia feel a connection at first sight. Dante is on a mission from the charismatic, egotistical Boris who is the leader of the Fae council. Dante being a loyal Fae, leaves to carry out his mission. When Gia is hurt during the mission, he can’t leave her again.
I thought this story was okay. I was glad there was “Insta love”, but it was dragged out to long. The constant “I need to leave” or “I can’t leave” from the Gia character became to much and left me bored. The story was okay, but I don’t think I’ll be reading the next books.
Audio review:
Stolen by the Fae – Paranormal Romance (Fae’s Claim Book 1) is red-hot ecstasy, aphrodisia and peril swirling through the pages of this listen. Told in present tense, with alternating first-person pov’s of Dante and Gia. Well detailed character descriptions and personality traits. From the first page, the chemistry between Dante and Gia is off the charts and non-stop action making it difficult to stop listening as you become enthralled in the reveting scenes. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in this paranormal romance series.
Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott naration of this paranormal romance will slay you. I absolutely loved this duet performance from my favourite duet narrators. A unmarred performance brimming with passion bringing the characters and narrative to reality. Wen Ross’s inflection is intoxicating and Kai Kennicott’s sweet intonation is exhilarating to listen to.
Overall, a entertaining listen.
