I loved it. Need to read next book to see how it turns out.
Not a ending it’s a series book was good but I won’t buy next series I’m content they are together
Interesting because it was set in Stockholm and male character was a hockey player
Really enjoyed the conflict of choices. Many more stories around the characters.
Loved the characters-well developed.
Great!
I love a quick read and this was just that. There were some issues with the editing (or lack thereof) in the first few chapters, but overall I really enjoyed the story. Plus, it makes me want to visit Sweden now. 🙂
A truly heartfelt read.
I enjoyed the twist and unpredictable ending.
Caroline had a plan. She left America and got a job with a magazine where she would interview ex-patriots all over the world and photograph them. The plan was to submit two articles per country and then move on to the next country. Her first country was Sweden and she was in Stockholm to spend a month. Her best friend from college, Veronica, had been able to secure her an apartment in the same apartment building. The plan was going well until she met her tall, very handsome, very muscular neighbor.
Meeting Nicklas was not part of Caroline’s plan. Nicklas was a national hockey player who was really good at what he did. He also had a temper off the ice that was hard to control and sometimes got him in trouble. He was very protective of Caroline from the start and seemed be drawn to her. Their relationship was sweet and very steamy. I really like Nicklas’ character. Even though he was fierce on the ice, he had a kind and gentle nature when it came to Caroline. He had secrets that he never wanted Caroline to find out. Would they be enough to destroy what was beginning to develop? Would Caroline stick to her plan and leave when her month was up?
I really enjoyed this story but wasn’t sold on the descriptive sex. I am more of fade to black kind of girl, no details needed. Other than that particular detail, I enjoyed the story.
One of the best written novels I’ve read in a long time.
She has gone for adventure and so when she meets him it may just be something more. He is an ex pro hockey player. Now they may have something which they both need. See how they get on
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great premise and I liked the scene-setting and some of the characters. Violent men turn me off and I found some scenes of putting and unrealistic. Not sure I will follow this series.
Slow, couldn’t get passed chapter 7. I just couldn’t follow the story.
Just ok
It didn’t read as well as I hoped.
The highlight of this editorial effort was that it was short … that’s is.
The plot is pure cookie-cutter, bare bones and really unexciting. Every move by the main characters is totally predictable and the editing has something to be desired.
I kept turning pages thinking it would get better … it never did. The highlight was the preview of the sequel this this book … now I know what to avoid.
Very slow and predictable.
