I liked this book but it was not my favorite. It was not the tearjerker the other two were. I really did not like the end, I believe it could have been better, but I will live with it. The more life threw at Louisa the more she learned about herself, she kept reinventing herself. In my opinion this book is a take or leave it. I don’t think it was necessary but it was fun to see if Louisa figured out who she is. I read this through my library.
So good… I couldn’t put it down!!
In JoJo Moyes beautiful style, we discover even more to love about Louisa Clark. I have tears streaming down my face even as I write this. This is a must read for fans of Me Before You.
I love Louisa Clark. There isn’t a Character I have ever read that I enjoy as much. She is so very human. Her trials and tribulations. Her outlook is what most people aspire to have.
I love how in-depth the characters are. It is easy to empathize or decide how you feel about them. Louisa is always on a journey to self discovery. Some of her situations and miss-steps along the way seriously hamper her progress. But as always she finds a way to navigate around the mires of life.
My favorite book character of all time. Right down to her bumble bee tights.
This has been one of the best series of novels featuring one main character I have ever read.
I read You Before Me and After You previously and enjoyed. I didn’t realize when I first got the book that it was a sequel to those. I have liked all of the books I’ve read by Jojo Moyes.
If you have read the other books you have to read this to find out what happens next.
This is the 3rd installment in the story of Lou, now living in New York City and trying to keep her romance with her paramedic boyfriend in London going across the miles. Very well written and very entertaining.
Slow start but soon became a page turner. Love on two continents with many characters coming and going. Pretty much loved it.
I enjoyed how it completed the series.
I freaking loved this book! I love Louisa Clark. I loved her journey. I love how Ms. Moyes showed how extreme grief can affect a person and how amazingly they can come back from it and change their entire life. And the lives of the people around them.
Louisa Clark is one of my favorite literary heroines. She is such a real character. She’s so flawed and yet so strong. This three book journey has just been amazing. It’s been inspiring and entertaining to read about how one person can change immaculately. I was so proud of Louisa. She decided to make a decision about her life and then went and asked for what she wanted.
I was really worried for several chapters towards the end there, that she wasn’t going to get retribution from the Gopnik’s nor end up with the right man. I’ll just say that I was SO HAPPY with how it all ended!
I just loved how, while Louisa helped the people around her, she learned how to love herself and care for her own wants and desires in her own life. It is so good to help the people around us. It’s important to be caring and generous and loving to our neighbors and our friends and even to strangers. But we cannot do any of that effectively if we do not first take care of ourselves. I think that if Ms. Moyes wanted us to take away anything from Louisa’s three book journey, it would be that.
The way this book is written is so flawless, and so easy to follow. There are muted sex scenes where the physical act is not described but it’s very clear what the characters are doing. There are two, maybe three uses of the F word, but other than that, no language.
Great follow up to Moyes’s previous two books about Louisa Clark. Clever and unpredictable.
I loved this book. I read it in two days and was sad when it ended. The story of a young woman and her adventures. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys good fiction.
I loved the characters in the book series. I want more of Louisa & her adventures.
I have read all three books in this series and have enjoyed them all. The first was a much more emotional read (Me Before You), followed by a closer look at the main character and her fight to survive the emotional turmoil she had endured. You had an opportunity to experience her recovery. I would recommend all three.
Not as good as the first book in the series, but still fun to spend a couple of hours with Clark.
I love Jojo Moyes and can’t wait for her next book. Would love for this book to become a movie too!
Not one of her best books. Very slow moving for the first half. I was disappointed.
Loved it
This 3rd book in the series is better than the last. It is a little predictable but the story is more engaging and it feels more a continuation of the original story line from Me Before You. A very easy read and enjoyable.
