This was a lot of back and forth and things that the characters didn’t even understand, so it was hard to convey to the reader what was going on. For the most part, Sheldon seemed to have matured and Corrigan and Bryce were figuring out their lives after high school. But then we had stuff that happened in Spain that we didn’t get the full picture to, things were weird in America for Sheldon and Corrigan, and there were weird contrived relationships that left everyone confused. And in the midst of that, the boys decided to unknowingly create a high school love challenge for Sheldon. It was a lot with not much outcome. Moving on to the third and final in the series.
This book picked up after the first book, Jaded. Bryce left to Spain to play soccer in Europe and Sheldon and Corrigan went with him. Then when Corrigan’s mother got diagnosed with cancer Corrigan returned home and so did Sheldon shortly after. That move told us all we needed to know about the whole mood for the second book in this series. Everything was a mess before, but now everything is sloppy and pretty much up in the air and everyone’s guess.
Bryce just pissed me off and stayed on my $h!t list throughout the whole book, like I don’t even understand how he thought things he set in motion would help. It’s almost like he wants Sheldon to be done with him.
And Corrigan is like a lost puppy following Bryce’s plan. He should’ve known better.
Denton Steele has stepped up though knowing that he might have a chance if he burrows his way in. But the stalker going after Sheldon doesn’t make any of Denton’s chances any easier. Bryce and Corrigan aren’t even able to keep things safe…again. I cannot wait to read this last book because the ending is killing me, no pun intended.
Oh my WORD. What just happened!?
Okay, let me back up here and start from the beginning.
Sheldon, Bryce and Corrigan are back but the gang seems to have a pretty big unspoken rift between them. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire first part of the book just saying WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED!?
My heart was so sad to see the three of them arguing so much with each other!
I really liked that we got to know Corrigan better in this book. In Jaded he was the player that slept around, but in this book we get a deeper look into the real Corrigan who is incredibly smart…and Bryce, oh BRYCE. Man what are you doing?! Oh I was not happy with him throughout this book at first and then I learned what really happened and ugh I don’t know how to feel!
I was seriously feeling all sorts of emotions while reading. Happiness, anger, sadness, confused, and so much more. Tijan knows how to keep a reader hooked and wanting more!
And can we just talk about that cliffhanger? AH MY GOD.
You did it again Tijan, another fantastic book!! Now I’m on to start Jaden to figure out what’s going to happen!
All Change, It Lost Its Way A Bit!! 3.5 Stars
So Sheldon & Corrigan are now at College after leaving Bryce in Spain to play professional Football (soccer ). The two at College aren’t very close anymore & Sheldon & Bryce can’t seem to agree on whether they’re still a couple, after events in Spain, or not!!
Fraternities & Sororities feature in this book. One sorority seems full of plastic barbie’s & the other seems tougher but also more savvy!! Sheldon doesn’t want to pledge to either! Corrigan has fit in at his Frat’ perfectly & his ‘brother’s’ all seem protective of Sheldon
Our girl seems to have picked up a stalker now though!! How much of a threat will they turn out to be?? Will our trio’s survive?
*This book ends on a cliffhanger!*
