Stiff Arm Steal is the first of a long series of mysteries. The detective is an interesting combination of a washed-up athlete and a private eye. They’re a fun read, fast and easy with enough complexity to keep you thinking, but not so much that you can enjoy a few beers or glasses of wine while reading.
