Kyle wasn’t totally on board with his friend’s idea of getting more money by stealing it from the rich while working at a posh resort for the summer. One thing he did know was that he needed the money to help his parents and hopefully finish his last year of college. What he didn’t take into consideration was Maddox. Maddox is sexy, handsome, and oh, yeah, rich. I literally finished this book in a day. It’s been a while since I lost myself so quickly and read a book this fast. I loved that Kyle didn’t know about Maddox’s family name. It added a certain appeal for me in enjoying this story all the more. Some of the actions of the secondary characters made the storyline a little predictable, but not enough for me not to enjoy this book. I’m a huge fan of Davidson King and I cannot wait to see what she brings us next.
I loved this book. Finished in one setting. Maddox and Kyle have amazing chemistry. I was on edge during the first half of book because I knew shit was going to hit the fan and I kept thinking ‘Kyle You’re gonna get caught’.
This is a contemporary novel with age gap and written in dual POV.
I was thinking exactly like Kyle when Maddox first talked about ‘punishment’.Honestly I’m glad I’m not the only one.
Maddox is sooo smitten. Kyle and Maddox are different but perfect together. The secondary characters are well written and I especially loved Maddox’s siblings. And epilogue was adorable!!

Flowers never smelled so sweet
Woo hoo! I’ve been excited to read this book since I first heard about because 1) it involves a thief and 2) it’s written by Davidson King. Personally, I think reason two eclipses everything and this book surpassed all of my expectations. It’s fantastic and I couldn’t put it down. Kyle isn’t your run-of-the-mill thief but seeing as he stole my heart I think he makes an exceptional one. Other than his questionable taste in friends, there wasn’t anything I didn’t adore about him. He’s super cute and feisty. Maddox is dreamy and yummy. There’s something extraordinarily magnetic about him that drew me in and made me not want to let go. Also, he’s very hard to say no to, not that I would really want to.
I enjoyed the verbal sparring between Maddox and Kyle. They’re snarky and when you add in the sexual tension, they’re electric. “I’ll get dirty to get clean with you any day.” Mmm, these two are unbelievably sexy as is their shower talk. “I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life for you.” Oh my, the heart and passion these two have for each other. I felt it on every page. Maddox’s family is awesome. I think I’m in love with them all, and I couldn’t stop laughing at how his parents met or Maddox’s special gift. His sister is kinda scary but I’d want her on my side in any fight. There are others in this book though that better hope they never need my help. An amazing story and a perfect ending for two people who absolutely belong together and are sticky sweet.
4.25 Stars!
If you’re looking for a sweet May/December romance with some angst and a villainous ex who doesn’t know when to quit, look no further because Sticky Fingers is just the book you need!
Maddox is a workaholic billionaire, the CEO of his family’s corporation and all-around nice guy, who finally takes a 2-week vacation to his best friend’s luxury resort, where his not-quite-girlfriend invites herself to join him and he feels guilty over not really giving her a chance (no clue why, because the woman is horrible). But before she gets there, he meets Kyle, a Botany student, who’s working at the resort with his best friend to help his parents out and hopefully, make enough money to cover his last year’s college tuition, and they’re instantly drawn to each other. Jeff, Kyle’s so-called BFF, has some plans to make some easy money and ropes Kyle into helping him. When Maddox finds Kyle stealing in his room, he quickly realizes Kyle is only a pawn in his friend’s game and offers Kyle his help with his parent’s mortgage and his tuition in exchange for Kyle working at Maddox’s estate. Maddox is determined to keep his distance from the alluring Kyle, but the attraction is stronger than anything he’s ever experienced. However, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and Nadia, Maddox’s kind-of-ex-but-not-really, is determined to get Kyle out of the picture.
Maddox and Kyle were both very likable, but flawed and I wanted to scream at them both several times. Still, they had a lot of chemistry and I loved them together once they finally gave in to their attraction. I loved Maddox’s employees and his family and how they all embraced Kyle into their fold.
I hated Nadia, who didn’t really care who she hurt so long as she got her revenge. She was a bit OTT, but again, it just showcased how different Kyle and she were and how much better Kyle was for Maddox.
This was a very enjoyable read. I loved that the age gap didn’t really play much of a part in the story and that even if some of the things that happened were a bit over the top, the book was still entertaining and engaging, with just a bit of angst thrown in for good measure. Very recommendable!

So Good, I Loved It!! I Loved Kyle & Maddox. The book pulls you in as you hit the first page wanting you to read on to see what’s going to happen next because it’s so good, interesting & a bit suspenseful. I laughed, maybe cried, got angry & surprised. So your on a ride of feelings. The end… A HEA I so love! I highly recommend this book!
Love can also be found amidst unusual circumstances!
I love Maddox and Kyle! I love the unusual situation they are in!
This story is giving me all the sweetness I am always looking for when I read an MM romance. Amidst all the extraordinary situation they are both in, deep down they are just two people always on the lookout for that special person meant for them.
Kyle is so endearing in how much he is willing to sacrifice for his mom. I am a mother so that kind of love lifts me like no other. Maddox being down-to-earth is amazing in itself, his respect for other people and his inherent kindness is just so refreshing.
Congratulations Ms. Davidson King for another bestseller!
I am a big fan of this author. This story sucks you with it’s intriguing storyline. The banter between Kyle and Maddox is hilarious. The chemistry is also off the charts. I love how when Kyle found himself in sticky situations Maddox was always right by his side helping him get through it. I can’t wait for the next adventure we will take with this author!!
Loved, loved, loved this one. What a perfect follow up to the Haven Hart series. This book is a stand alone and does not take place in the Haven Hart world. I am huge fan of age gap stories. In this book I get my perfect age gap scenario. Maddox is in need of a vacation from his family business. Kyle is struggling to help his family keep their home and health. All while trying to finish his last year of college. For Kyle – desperate times called for desperate measures, right? And unexpected twist of fate, brings Maddox and Kyle together. Can Maddox save Kyle from himself? Can Kyle choose the right path? Well, I’m not going to tell.. So you’ll just have to read this wonderful story and find out for yourself. Looking forward to the next Davidson King story.
I absolutely loved this story.
Sweet with a bit of angst.
Kyle was such a sweetheart and Maddox was really great guy as well.
Their chemistry was amazing and they also had a hilarious banter.
Throughout all the difficulties Kyle found himself in, Maddox was always there to help him figure things out and offer his help.
