Hot damn……this is the elusive last book of the Iron Orchid series, and it is all about Stella. We have been begging, dreaming, wanting this book for so long and Danielle Norman did that thing. I will not give you any spoilers, and boy are there some shit in there that will have you cussing her out.
This book is a WOW…a What the F’ was she thinking, and it is so freaking worth it.-Review by Catherine(Catty)
I am extremely sad to see this series come to an end!!! I want more of my girls in the Iron Orchids! I knew I had to have Stella’s book so I one-clicked it as soon as it came up on pre-order, and I am so glad I did!! This is Stella and Tristan story and it is a doozy. This story is rocked with sexual tension, messed up findings in a test and a trip to Vegas. Ms Norman pulled out of all of the stops with the finale of her series. The characters story lines are so interwoven the story wouldn’t be complete without an appearance of all of the previous characters. At times I wanted to smack Tristan for being so oblivious but his huge Greek family took care of that for me. Stella’s pride and obstinate nature could be her downfall. I am extremely sad to see this series come to an end but I’m glad I’ve read this. And who better to end the series with aside from Stella because she was the most integral part of the Iron Orchids. I can’t wait for another series from this fabulous author!! Hopefully Piper will get a book in a future series.
OMGOMGOMGOMG! Like most people who love the Iron Orchids I have been dying for Stella’s book. It’s bittersweet since this is the final book in the series, but HOLY GUACAMOLE what a finale! I’ll tell you now, this review is going to be vague which means it’ll be shorter than my typical ramblings of the magnificent worlds Danielle Norman creates but it’s for a darn good reason. Stella and Tristan have a story that you have to experience. Trust me when I say you want that experience. Go in blind and be completely blown away by the genius that is Danielle Norman.
Take everything you love about the Iron Orchids series and amp it up to maximum and that is what Until is. Tons of laugh out loud humor that will having you cracking up, perfect sarcasm, loads of loving family and seriously epic romance pour off the pages of Stella and Tristan’s story. I couldn’t have even begun to imagine a more perfect book to end this beloved series with.
Sassy Stella Lang has had a crush on Tristan Christakosos for years. It doesn’t help that her brother married Tristan’s cousin and she is around him constantly at family events as well as the fact they are colleagues at the hospital. While they may have had one night together, she definitely can’t act on it again . . . she has way too much to lose if things go wrong.
For Tristan Christakosos, one night with Stella wasn’t enough. Now he plans to use a work related trip to Las Vegas to prove it to her. But, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, and sometimes it has life altering implications that even the strongest couple may not be able to survive.
Fans of the Iron Orchids are in for a treat with Until, which is the final book in the series, but can easily be read as a standalone.
I can’t say much about this plot, because of spoilers, but hot damn, Danielle Norman took readers in places no one could have seen coming. This book was an extreme roller coaster of emotions with highs and lows and crazy twists and turns that left me not knowing which was was up at times.
As much as I enjoyed watching the interactions between Tristan and Stella, I really enjoyed watching the “secret” play out throughout the family, as a secret as big as this never stays quiet for long, especially in a family as close as the Christakosos clan.
My one issue with this book is that I really wanted to smack Tristan at times during this book. Luckily he has a big Greek family that took care of that for me when he started acting a bit too stupid . . . .LOL.
While it’s always hard to let a series go with characters I have come to love, Until was a great ending to the Iron Orchid series. 4.5 stars.
I love this series and I have been waiting for Tristen and Stella to finally be together. Of course, their go at it isn’t going to be easy. So many emotions reading this story. I laughed, sighed, smiled and felt the love from these swoony men and crazy women. I was entertained by the “family telephone secrets” section. Slight spoiler, there is a major WTF moment. And that ending……Wow!
It was so much fun to catch up with the Christakos family and all of the Iron Orchids. Heck, I am ready to move into the neighborhood and try to get into the “gang.”
A battle of wills, a meeting of hearts and the beauty of what makes a family. Until is one last hurrah with some awesome old friends. Norman keeps the laughs rolling, the heart pumping and the celebrations irresistible in a heartwarming farewell.
THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING!!! Stella and Tristan are everything.
Just when you thing you know where the story line is going … BAM! Danielle hits you in the face.
Whether this is your first read in the Iron Orchids series or the last, you won’t be disappointed.
3.5 stars
I had a hard time with a rating for this book. I really didn’t like Stella for a good portion and I hated how Tristan was treated. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I will leave it at that. Will I read it again? Probably, and I would say that a lot of people will love this book. It is an okay book for me, and maybe I will look at it differently later.
I loved it
This one was great. But the ups and downs in the story made it great. Stella is still sassy, but now you understand more why she is. Tristan finally becomes the great guy we know he is.
I had to force myself to read the books in order. I wanted to read Stella’s store a long time ago. This book tricked me. I thought wow that was a quick happily ever after but I am only 1/3 way into the book. Then BAM! Everything went crazy. I could not put this book down!
This is the fifth book in the Iron Orchids series by Danielle Norman. It was just as fun, sweet, and entertaining as previous books in the series. Although, this is my least favorite out of all of the books in the series. OK, that really means that since this is still a really good series and I really, really like it, this book is still good. It’s just that compared to the others…. So, what is it that’s lacking?
Well, this one went from “we’re just good friends” to “we’re totally a couple that’s really into each other” to “Hey! Guess what? We’re married.” really fast. I hope that didn’t spoil anything for you. The real story and the drama part comes in after the spontaneous wedding. I’ve gotta say that I’m in the minority, at least as far as the characters in the book are concerned, but I agree with Tristan. Maybe it’s because I’ve been going through a similar situation with a friend right now. Maybe it’s just my uber practical side. I agree with him. Why blow up something before you have to? I think Stella’s take on the situation is totally selfish. I’m not going to explain any further. You’ll just have to read it for yourself.
So, if you haven’t already, I suggest you start at the beginning of this whole series so that you can truly experience the Christakos family in all their Greek glory!
Loved, Loved Loved It!! I bought the whole series. Entertaining, Original, Witty, Just an all around good read.
When it comes to the most vivacious member of the Iron Orchid GANG, Stella’s story should be the funniest but surprisingly it was not all fun with Stella and Tristan. Stella proves her big heart is sometimes bigger than her mouth and Tristan proves otherwise, or so it seems. Emotional, funny, original, tearjerker and don’t forget sexy as hell!
If you want a different plot twist which will catch you off guard then this one is for you. Absolutely love this sreamy tal!!!
Couldn’t put it down! So good!
Stella is the most vocal member of the Iron Orchids girls, shes also the craziest and is in love with Tristan Christakos. But she knows they cant be anything more, because they work together and she doesn’t want to loose her job. Tristan is the last single brother of the Christakos family. He wants more with Stella but she keeps pushing away, but he’s figured out a great plan to talk Stella into the relationship he’s hoping for.
This entire series has been fun, and family oriented. Proud Women pushing each other forward and helping each other out. Stella and Tristan being the last couple was such a great turn of events, and I don’t think it could have been any better.
I loved Tristan and Stella and was so excited to read their story. Tristan’s determination to get together with Stella and Stella’s sarcastic sassiness will make you laugh out loud. This book is filled with humor, twists and turns, plenty of romance, and much more. A definite must read I highly recommend it.
Awww I love Stella and Tristan together it’s so cute!! Stella was sarcastic and used it as a defence but when she hurt you could always tell she was hurt. I loved their relationship together, it was so cute and especially how they teased each other. They were just so cute!
Again I love the big greek family, I love seeing the characters from the other stories in this book I really love that we get to see where they are and we still interact with them.
Well here I was waiting for the other shoe to drop on their happiness and damn it dropped fucking hard! I don’t want to say to much because it would spoil it and we was under some strict instructions not to say spoilers (Also why it’s taken me so long to write this review).
I love how all the characters are all about family it’s amazing how much they all care for each other and are willing to do anything for each other. How they all came together at the end was amazing and I loved it! I really hope you guys will give this book a chance well the series because it is amazing!
I’ve tried to write this review 4 times. I can’t say what I really want to without possibly giving any spoilers and I can’t do that to the readers. So here’s the deal- read the series starting at Book 1, fall in love with the characters, become part of the gang, and then buckle up for this one! It was good, really good. Quite possibly my 2nd favorite in the series.
Loved every single letter. It’s witty, sexy and a great read!! One complaint though….I want more!!!!
