This first in a series is such a fun read! The characters form an interesting group – each with strengths and challenges as they navigate through opening a business while dealing with the aftermath of a con artist’s murder.
It was my pleasure to receive this free book from the author and give my honest review.
It was a nice change.
This is about two people who come together because their real estate agent leased them the same space. They discover the real estate agent was a con artist and also find him dead.
I can’t say I have liked the main characters and the main character is a bit of a whiner about everything. However, the storyline is OK and the supporting characters help get the story interesting. In the end, I enjoyed the story and may continue the series.
I loved this book and didn’t want the story to end. I can’t wait to read the next one. It’s a clever story with witty characters.

Loved reading this. It’s a nice easy read with fun characters. I liked how the two characters relationship evolved as they try to solve the mystery and open a business together. Would love to read the rest in the series.
I liked all the characters. The author has started developing a variety of relationships to carry into further books. Plenty of suspects, but not too obvious. Well paced – the story kept moving.
Interesting characters – enjoyable read.
