A gripping story!
Oh. My. Gosh. Talk about a page turner! Two of my favorite genres skillfully intertwined with mind boggling suspense!
This book pulled just about every emotion out of me that you can think of! It’s very well written and seemed to be well researched lending believability to some pretty unbelievable situations, time travel aside.
The characters are interesting and diverse and introduced at a rate that is not too hard to keep track of. The creative storyline deserves a standing ovation!
I love not being able to figure out what comes next and this book kept me on the edge of my seat unable to stop reading, so bravo for that! While I understand subtle cliffhangers are expected where sequels are concerned, the end of this book left me a little unfulfilled, though I expect they will be answered in the next segment! Well done!
I enjoyed Stealing Time, but it ran on a little long (how many times can a protagonist fail to get away?) and ended a little too abruptly (almost a cliffhanger but not quite). Nevertheless, it was entertaining. Good dialogue and faithful period characters.
Good book but what a surprise I got.
Beware! open ended, leaves you wanting more, looking for next in sequel.
I did like the book but I didn’t realize it was going to continue on as a series. I won’t read the others but I did like this one.
Great Read
Juvenile
It leaves you hanging..where is the end
Two story lines that are barely connected were never resolved. The reader is left with too many unanswered questions. That is unless you buy the next book I guess. A book should be able to stand alone. Good at marketing but poor storytelling.
It was okay. I didn’t care enough about the characters to purchase the rest of the series
This was one of the worst books I have read in a long time! It made no sense and it was not historically accurate. If you wanted to find out more about how the time travel worked then you would have to buy the next novel and it would definitely NOT be worth it as the story was not romantic nor did it really even make sense.
I rarely write reviews but the author and characters in this book annoyed me so much that I have to. There are spoilers in this review. Steph was so stupid that she didn’t know to shut her cat up n a room so that it could not get out into the storm when Steph talks her friend into bringing in silly plants. The author lets the little cat die as a result! The heroine could have been given the ability to return to the present earlier in the book but the author wanted to describe in detail what a person goes through when hanged.
i just couldn’t get into the storyline – it seemed all disjointed to me – but then I am used to a more streamline storyline – it had a good premise & thought just the execution as off .
i could not stomach how much this writer put this girl thru it was terrible
I would not like to ever read a book this cruel again
Though the series started out well, book 1 was good, the second book was a bit too much. Sending someone back thrice in a short period of tine as an experiment? Nah.
I am not sure I have ever given a one-star review before. This book was abysmal is every aspect from plot to characters, to fake language. I could not finish it….another first.
extremely confusing “plot”, horrible images about hanging, no happy ending. Too many time flips. Obviously author knew hurricanes. relationships not so much.
