When I read the blurb for Stealing The Bride I just knew I needed to read the book. The story of Pascal and Court was refreshing, funny, relatable, heartbreaking, frustrating and oh so steamy. I loved the chemistry between them and how protective they were of each other. The secondary characters played an intricate roll to the overall flow and storyline. This was my first book by Nadia Lee and once I finish I was searching for my next.

And the heroine speaks Klingon!
I love a good romantic comedy, but hate when books try to tell me that it is funny (because usually that means it’s not!). This book had so many places I laughed out loud, that a couple of times I had to stop reading to get myself back together. I hate crappy parents, but at least the hero/heroine supported each other enough to make it through a lot of that. I saw the climax coming, but not completely the way it played out. It was so good I stayed up past my bedtime to finish reading it!
I saw a Facebook ad for this Kindle Unlimited book and it seemed funny so I grabbed it. This is a new author for me. This was a book that began as a very funny ROM-com and delved into a more serious plot line. The story was very good and much deeper than I was expecting. Readers will want to sign up for the newsletter so they can get the epilogue which helps sew up a few loose ends left at the end of the main book. The hero is earnest, but also very young in many ways. His age is never stated but you can calculate it to be around mid-twenties. However, he is a good guy with good intentions. Pascal is also a little naive. Together they have some very steamy chemistry and learn to communicate to build a relationship. I liked the book as it was well-written and showed definite character growth. The story had humor, steam, and drama as well. I will be reading more stand alone books by this author in the future and I am glad her books are available on KU. She also has several duets and at least one trilogy which sound good, though I typically do not read those.
This is the story of Court and Pascal. Didn’t really care for Court at first seemed way to cocky for me. He redeemed himself in the end. Awesome meet cute and oh boy the wedding. Absolutely loved this story.
Fun, sexy romance!

Absolutely amazeballs!!
I have not had the pleasure of reading Nadia Lee before now and I am very disappointed in myself for that. Nadia is a brilliant writer that keeps you engaged with her characters and plot. Words cannot express just how much I loved his wordy creation!!
Court and Pascal are the perfect couple when they are together. Obviously, there is no such thing as a perfect couple but come on, this is fiction! Their meeting is not very original but the outcome is so much better! Their dialog makes you laugh and the way he is protective of Pascal is refreshing.
There are plenty of things I can talk about when it comes to Stealing the Bride but I won’t. I will say that Pascal’s father, Steve, can go suck on something sour. The supporting characters were amazing as well and I cannot wait to see if one of them gets their own book.
The title alone should make you want to one-click it! I know I will be one-clicking on this gem!!
I loved this book. There were a lot of great characters that I would love to read more about, in addition to the hero and heroine of the story. Pascal and Court are wonderful characters and I really liked their nicknames that they used when they met. Lots of laughs. A little angst, but it resolves in a great way. Definitely recommend. Must read!
I enjoyed this book. I wasn’t too sure of Court in the beginning, but boy did he steal my heart. There is more to him then he gives himself credit for. He has a big heart which we experience through out he book. Stealing of the bride scene is quite memorable and gives you the true picture of Court. That was my tipping point on my view of him. Pascal, she has my sympathy because she has a run of bad luck at work. All that had me outraged for Pascal’s behalf. I loved Pascal and Court together. They just fit just like puzzle pieces. They have a ton of chemistry that burns up the pages. I was also invested in the secondary characters. You know an author wrote a good book if you;re into the secondary characters as much as the main characters. I also enjoyed the humor that is in this book. It has the feels, but it had me me laughing as well.
This sexy alpha male always gets what he wants and he will stop at nothing to get that woman. Or does he…hmmmm, you will have to read the plot twist. What we receive, as a reader, is another amazing story filled with angst, sass and sexiness! Nadia Lee brought her A-game with the book. Hopefully, you’ve had the pleasure of reading her books in the past. If not, read this amazing novel (post a review) then began reading her other books as well. Reading her books will give you the same excitement you felt when you open the best Christmas present you’ve ever received. Thanks Nadia Lee for your amazing vision to write all these beautifully written books!!!
You know the book is going to be good when the opening scene is a guy snatching a bride from his wedding and finding out that he kidnapped the wrong bride!
If you read the Sins trilogy, then you are familiar with Court, Tony’s brother. He’s the youngest of the Blackwood siblings. He is trying to reinvent himself. He’s understandably upset with his family drama and is in need of a distraction. I don’t think he was counting on Pascal aka Skittles.
This is such a fun read. I was literally smiling the entire time while reading. Granted, there are a few serious moments and I might have shed a tear at one part, but for 90% of the book I was laughing out loud. I enjoyed how the characters didn’t really take themselves to seriously.
At the crux, this story is about how to feel good in your own skin and celebrate your own accomplishments. Aligning yourself with people/family who support you and being able to let go of those that don’t.
ARC received in exchange for honest review.
After his appearance in Tony and Ivy’s story, I wanted to know more about Court. Of course, I couldn’t forget about Pascal. What I found interesting in their pairing is their parental “issues”. It is always a treat when there is an appearance of some of our favorite characters from previous books. I still have a few lingering questions. Can’t wait to check out Nate’s book and his shenanigans.
Love love love! Awesome story, wasn’t sure where it would head next, but you get a strong female character who isn’t a blithering idiot. I loved her headstrong-edness and how independent she was written, while the male lead was as well. Very well written book!
Every once in a while you need a cute romantic book…this one definitely fills the void! Court and Pascal are a very entertaining and great couple. Friends and family add to a crazy mix. Some cringeworthy moments…family can be a nightmare! Lots of fun banter, laughs and of course steamy sex!!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions in this review are my own.
This couple has great chemistry. I love them together. The story is fun and entertaining. Really enjoyed the whole book.
After a wonderful one night stand, Harcourt can’t get the woman out of his head. He is determined to find her and get to know her. Unfortunately when he tracks her down its to find that she is getting married, or is she. One interrupted wedding and a case of mistaken identity later he finally gets the name and number of his one night stand.
This was a fun book. I enjoyed Pascal (Skittles) and Harcourt (Whiskey). They both were pretty good characters. I got a little bored at the beginning of the book but once they actually got together things picked up. Pascal was smart, ambitious and caring. I do think she was a little too forgiving of her father’s actions but some people forgive their families easier than others. Harcourt grew on me. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like him at first but he was a pretty good character.
Overall, a quick and fun book.
This was really cute. Right from the start I was drawn in and the author kept me hooked until I finished. I laughed at the antics of Court, the banter between Pascal and Court. They were cute together. As the story progressed I liked them even more. At times the story did seem really drawn out. But it wasn’t enough to really annoy me. 4 stars #2OCCjD
