18+ for language and sexual situations.Jasmine Buckley’s busy life has no room for anything that doesn’t involve color palettes, fragrance samples, or building her burgeoning cosmetic empire. I loved this book. I love all of the Dogs of Fire and this one did not disappoint. Alamo and Jasmine are a great couple, I love all those growly bikers. Normally I don’t enjoy MC romances because they are too violent for me, there are just a few exceptions to the rule and this series is one of those. Not too say there isn’t any violence because there is, it just seems to be a manageable amount for me. These bikers are all alpha with hearts of gold.
3.5 stars. An excellent read however considering Alamo is a biker he just seemed a bit to sweet for me. Not saying bikers can’t be sweet, although they’d never admit it. More detail and story in the suspenseful portions of the book would have brought this up to 4.5 stars
Exciting and riveting story with a few twists and wonderful characters, love the familial feel, this is a great read.
Hot!
I couldn’t get into this book
Absolutely loved it!!
Enjoyable characters!
This was a fun, quick read! The protagonist was witty and full of humorous dialogue! The romance between her and Almo unfolds pretty quick. While the text claimed Alamo was an alpha male, I didn’t feel that the author put forth enough evidence to for me to believe this. He was tough, just not all consuming alpha like I would expect. His lack of character development took a bit away from the read.
Great characters and great story.
A very good book
this was very much same old same old. There was NO depth to the characters. I always love the concept of an MC club thriller/romance but its very rare to find an author who can really pull it off. This author tried to do so with sex…came out lacking in any emotion and honestly i ended up skipping pages. Plot was predictable and honestly felt like i wasted couple hours reading.
Loved Jasmine and Alamo and they made a great couple. A steamy read with a good pace and interesting storyline that had just enough suspense to keep me turning the pages.
The only thing I didn’t like about Alamo was him calling every woman babe or baby. Other than that he made a great hero.
OH MY!!!! This book was even better the second time around. It is official. I am moving to Savannah and hunting down Alamo. That man is mine!!!!!! The guys from Savannah Chapter of Dogs of Fire got me hooked in Saving the Preacher’s Daughter. What they did for someone that didn’t fit in and they didn’t know had me falling hard. No questions asked, those domineering protective males make everyone around them safer.
Alamo takes that attitude and ups it 100 times over. Like Willow, Jasmine isn’t really biker babe material. She is from the “other” side of the tracks with a trust fund and a fancy car. She doesn’t know it, but she is the one he wants. And it is Alamo that gets her motor running.
Alamo and Jasmine have a major problem (okay more than one). Neither one knows how to communicate. Neither one knows how to read body language. Neither one really knows how to express their emotions. And if communication problems wasn’t enough Jasmine has certain dating rules. They are so far off from Alamo’s way of life I had to wonder if they would ever get together.
Stealing the Biker’s Heart is a great Biker Romance. But it is so much more. There is evil in Savannah. A I thought I had it figured out really quickly. Boy was I wrong. There is a lot of evil in Savannah. It is up to Alamo as Sergeant at Arms to protect the club and its people. He will stop at nothing to protect the women he loves.
Gotta love the alpha male bikers!!! They are AMAZING!!! Bikers to the rescue.
Jasmine is the best friend of Willow (from Saving the Preacher’s Daughter) and Alamo is in the same MC as Willow’s man, Dash. Jasmine is strong, amazing business woman. She knows what she wants, but is hesitant about going after it, because her self esteem isn’t all that great. Alamo knows what he wants, and doesn’t hesitate to go after it. He just isn’t all that great at reading women. Great chemistry leads to hot scenes, but miscommunication lead to confusion.
I enjoyed the chemistry in this book, as well as the non stop action, mystery, and general hotness of this story. Jasmine and Alamo make a great couple, and I loved seeing such a strong female character hold her own against such an Alpha male. The sparks flew whenever they were together! (Did I mention yet how HOT they were together?!?)
This was such a great addition to the Dogs of Fire series. While there were mentions of evens and characters from previous books, this story can be read as a stand alone. However, this is such a great series, I’d definitely recommend reading all of the books!
4.5 Stars
Stealing The Biker’s Heart is the second title in the spinoff Savannah Chapter of the Dogs of Fire series and features Jasmine and Alamo, who both featured in the previous title Saving the Preacher’s Daughter. Their title is full of twists and turns, full of action, intrigue and suspense.
I absolutely adored this pair of characters. Jasmine is relatable, and confident despite her insecurities. She’s sassy, savvy, strong willed and independent.
Valen aka Alamo is the SAA for the Dogs of Fire, and takes his responsibility very seriously, with a tendency to be an overprotective alpha.
Miscommunications fire Jasmine’s insecurities, and their inability to communication their affection and intentions, keeps both characters on their toes, and fires up their verbal sparring.
The chemistry and attraction between this pair is intense, steamy and passionate. Their banter is witty, fun and flirty. Despite their bickering, their story is sweet, steamy, and full of heat, heart and humour.
I loved seeing the cameos of previous characters from not only this series, but others written by Piper Davenport, and eagerly anticipate further titles in this series.
I feel like a broken record but Piper has done it again! This is the second book in the Dogs of Fire : Savannah Chapter series, but it can be read as a standalone. Alamo and Jasmine are an amazing couple. Jasmine is a feisty independent business owner who says things we all think! I loved that Jasmine is described as a big girl with a big personalty but does not spend the whole book talking about her body image. She has real reactions that we can all relate to but she is more than just her body size. Alamo is hawt alpha male who gives Jasmine a run for her money. They have amazing chemistry that keeps you turning the pages. This book also has the great MC family that adds to this books character. If you are looking for a sassy heroine, alpha hero, laugh out loud humor, action, steamy romance and a great plot here is the book for you!
Stealing the Biker’s Heart is absolutely swoon worthy. Any fan of Piper’s Dogs of Fire series is going to adore this one and if you’ve read the Cauld Ane you might see an appearance of a familiar character. Anywho, I am totally in love with Jazz and Alamo. Their chemistry will set your Kindles on fire. What starts out as a misunderstanding and one female who thinks the man is after her friend…then a few mistakes on Alamo’s part…leads to a steamy romance between these two. Jasmine is a self made independent woman and Alamo just wants to be her soft place to land. With trouble looming, danger hides in various places leaving Alamo to save and protect the ladies in his life. You are gonna love Stealing the Biker’s Heart all the way from the laugh out loud comedy to the make you hot and bothered sex. These two are my new favorite couple.
