From New York Times and USA Today bestseller Lexi Blake comes a new epic-length story in her Thieves/Hunter world… him the will to go on. But now she is the one in need. Once a child made of pure magic, she is forced to live as a mortal. Her power caused great harm, and she has sworn never to let it happen again. With her friends beside her, she tries her best to help those she can. If that requires her to do a little thievery, well, she is her mother’s daughter, after all.
Everything changes when a woman falls from the sky and Summer meets the handsome vampire named Marcus Vorenus. Just as her past begins to catch up with her, she might have finally met her future.
A mother discovered
Kelsey Owens went searching for Dev and Marcus but all she found was a trap. She was pulled through a magical painting and thrown smack into the middle of a battle on a foreign plane of existence. Luckily she’s good in a fight. Saving the woman targeted by the horde of brutal soldiers, Kelsey is shocked by her resemblance to her queen. As Kelsey investigates the mystery surrounding Summer Donovan-Quinn, she also hunts for a way back to the husbands and son she just claimed.
A queen exiled
Zoey Donovan-Quinn is not happy. The wizard Myrddin is back, her marriage is troubled, and she is sure those two problems are connected. But nothing is more worrying than Dev’s sudden disappearance. When she and Daniel go looking for him, they are drawn into a world thought lost to the Earth plane. Danger awaits them there, but so does the daughter they thought they would never see again. She hopes they survive their reunion.
Three heroines. One mystery. And an ending that will change the Thieves world forever…

I am hooked on this series. I cannot wait for the next book!
It is not very often I cannot find words after reading. This is one of those cases. This book guys. It was pure everything. This was the story we have all been waiting for and we were completely unprepared for it.
This is book 5 in the Hunter series and 10 in the Thieves series and I would also say book 4 for Faery Story Series. They help a lot if you read them as well since there are overlapping characters.
This is Summer’s story. It hurts your heart but it also give us so much. This is a typical Lexi Blake rad, but prepare yourself because that ending is NOT what you see coming. Damn Prophecy.
This has all the favs in it guys and trust me, you don’t want to miss a single thing so take our time because when you get to the end you wont be prepared.
3.75 – 4 stars. This was a good book! Stealing Summer is the next book in the Hunters and Thieves series. It is the continuation of Dev, Daniel and Zoey’s story, along with Kelsey, Marcus and some great new characters. I won’t go into the plot too much because it is best to go in blind. In the forward, the author notes that this is a transition book to move the series story arc along and it definitely did that job. I did find the book a little slow in a few parts as far as action, but there was a lot that happened emotionally and plotwise. I really enjoyed the story and finally meeting Summer, Zoey and Daniel’s magical child who was raised in the Fae world. I was very happy with her storyline, where she ended up and where I can see it going. I was also very happy with the way things were going with Zoey, Dev and Daniel too. And I was thrilled with the way the series story arc ended up at the end of the book, even though there is a doozy of a cliffhanger. I am really looking forward to the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Born into this world with a little bit of magic, Summer has only known a small moment in the presence of her parents. That one moment allowed Daniel the foresight to continue on with his legacy. Life for the Donovan-Quinn family moved on without knowing exactly where life lead their beloved daughter.
Life has been a roller coaster for Summer. The strength of her powers has led Summer to live life as a human, containing all of her magic. With a friend by her side, Summer does is determined to help those around her even if it means using a little thievery that runs deep in her roots. Then a force of nature would alter Summer’s life.
Who could have expected a woman and a vampire to land in the middle of a battle that would change Summer’s world?? With one of the Queen’s husbands missing in addition to her former lover, Kelsey knows that something is not as it seems. After battling those who are after this woman that looks like the Queen, Kelsey is determined to get to the bottom of things and return to her family.
As Zoey and Daniel try to piece together what happened to those that have vanished into thin air, the duo finds themselves falling through the plane to another world. In this plane, things are not at all like they are on Earth. Danger is swirling and the source of it all is the child that they formed through the magic of their love for one another. Seeing Summer after all this time is shocking and exhilarating, but there are more important things to focus on. Everyone seems to be after Summer and keeping her safe will require help from everyone on the different planes.
Stealing Summer is the latest release in the Hunter series by Lexi Blake. To understand all of the nuances of this ever-winding tale, you should read the previous books in the Thieves and Hunter series BEFORE diving headfirst into Stealing Summer. Once again – a prophecy sets the stage for a long overdue reunion between the members of the Donovan-Quinn family. What transpires is a menagerie of unparalleled magic that Zoey, Daniel, Dev, Kelsey and Marcus have never witnessed before. The plot is full of twists, tales, and prophecies galore. The ending…….Oh how I am dying to get my hands on the next book!! Our favorite lovers are in for a reckoning that has left me desperate for more Donovan-Quinn magic!!
Stealing Summer by Lexi Blake made my brain explode. I read this 504 page book in 2 days. I couldn’t put it down. I needed to find out what happened to these characters. Can’t give too much of a summary because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read it. For anyone familiar with all of Lexi’s series, you will meet many of the characters from all of her books. This was another roller coaster ride. The twists and turns had me yelling out loud and almost made me throw the book across the room. Just a warning. This is not a standalone book. You must read the Thieves (book 1 is free on Amazon) and Hunter series for this book to make sense. Wait until you read the ending. Never mind, get ready to throw the book.
A highly anticipated book for me and did not disappoint. I couldn’t wait to turn the pages to find out what happened but simultaneously didn’t want to reach the end! I found this book highly satisfying as there are quite a few plot reveals and progressions to the overall story arc…no spoilers here though, you have to read it! There are multiple POV which I was initially hesitant about, but I felt that it was seamlessly done and actually heightened the anticipation in places which enhanced my reading experience. This is a book which explores the wider Lexi universe, if you’ve read her other books you will be treated to some delicious cameo-esque appearances. Lexi’s writing style is clever and addictive, the characters are well developed and easy to connect to, there is sarcasm, humour, action and all the feels in this delightful story. To anyone on the fence with paranormal I urge you to delve into this series, you will not be disappointed. The only problem now is waiting for the next book Kudos to you Lexi Blake for delivering another winner.
Can this series get any better?
Wonderous adventures and transitions await your arrival in Stealing Summer. With multiple POV’s, your perception and mind reel with the anticipation, the suspense and magical love that’s captured between the pages.
Lexi Blake’s writing has always been a favorite of mine with all her books as you feel what her characters feel. Sorrow – heartbreak – anger – joy; you as the reader encompass those feelings, emotions deep your bones, within your nerves. And I for one, love that in a novel.
Lexi Blake – Queen of Romantic Fantasy!
What a glorious trip into the Thieves world. I loved every minute of my journey in this story. Stealing Summer by Lexi Blake is the fifth book in her Hunter: Thieves series. This is a complex story with much action and it kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed the adventures of Summer and Marcus, the royals, Zoe Donovan-Quin with Daniel and Dev and Kelsey Owens and Dean. Prophecy in a fantasy story is a powerful tool. In this story it greatly enhances the reading experience. This Thieves world is a brilliant product of Ms. Blake’s vivid imagination. Her talented wordsmithing draws the reader into her fascinating world and woos them with great characters, plenty of action, scorching sexy scenes and prophecy fulfilled. This is one of my favorite books so far this year.
I was going back and forth trying to categorize this series as either Romantic Fantasy or Fantasy with Romance Elements. I chose Romantic Fantasy because the relationships are based on so much love which shines so brightly that the love shines brighter than all else in the story.
How to review this without giving away too much? Stealing Summer was absolutely great. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book, even where it was slow in some parts. This book is a great addition to this series. The characters are so real-like and rounded that it’s one of the reasons I enjoy Lexi Blake’s books so much. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
The wait is finally over as the fifth book of Hunter: A Thieves Series is here and it just blows the mind. Lexi Blake is one of my go to authors and once again, she delivers a spectacular dive into the paranormal/magical worlds that she created. It is not a standalone and the books must be read in order. Like the story itself, as the reader journeys to different plains along with the amazing characters, it is a whirlwind of a rollercoaster ride blending intrigue, suspense, humor, love and the reconnection of family. This is one book and series that you must read for yourself! I highly recommend! I volunteered to read a copy of this book and all opinions are my own.
This book was phenomenal. I love this world and Lexi Blake wrote an amazing story with this one. In the past, the books have been from one perspective but we get three in this book. One story line gets wrapped up in this book, but we are left with so many questions. This book is not a standalone and you need to read the books before it to understand this one. I’m not normally a fan of cliffhangers, but this entire series is one so I knew what I was getting into with this book. I love how entwined the characters are and how each piece moves the story along. This world is magical and I can’t wait to see what is next for this characters.
My gawd, Lexi Blake’s imagination is a wondrous thing. Stealing Summer, the long awaited and much anticipated final book in the Hunter: Thieves series is spectacular! It’s a rollercoaster ride through magic, supernatural and paranormal worlds. There’s intrigue, suspense, deceit, treachery, romantic and familial love and liberaly sprinkled with deft touches of humor scattered throughout. There are moments when you’ll gasp, yell out loud, sit at the edge of your seat and even shed a few tears. Or in my case ugly cry. While this may be the end of this portion of the Thieves saga it perfectly set the stage for what’s to come and I think it’s going to be epic!
