I was nine when I befriended him. Seventeen when I kissed him. And eighteen when I threw all dirty thoughts about him in the trash.Vincent Turner is my bad boy best friend. I’ve never said no to him. Even when he asked to copy my homework in high school. Even when he asked me to be his wing woman. I’ve seen his girlfriends come and leave. He’s brought me ice cream after my heartbreaks. And then … me ice cream after my heartbreaks.
And then it all goes to sh*t.
His filthy rich parents find him a doll to marry.
And he asks me to be his wedding planner.
That eleven-year-old kiss is starting to haunt me.
I’d rather be his wife, not his damn wedding planner.
I’ve never said no to Vincent Turner.
You think now might be a good time to start?

One of the most romantic storyline I have ever read. Absolutely, loved everything about this book. I could not put this down, read it all in one sitting and was sad to get to the ending. Always, love best friends to lovers as my favorite, but this one hit all the marks. First time I have ever read this author, and will be looking forward to her future books.

The author has, again, given us characters we can care about. How can one kiss, which was a mistake, affect your entire life? Emily and Vincent have been best friends since they were young. They each know what love feels like and always want what is best for the other, even if that is not themselves.

Wonderfully written story!
Vincent is best friends with Emily since they were children but his parents can’t stand it. She’s from the middle / poor side of town while he’s from the rich side. But Emily keeps Vincent grounded! No amount of dating for Emily could take the place of her image of wishing they were Vincent. No one can come between Emily and Vincent friendship except the bombshell that his parents threw at him. He must marries who they want or lose all him money and his father company! Can Vincent and Emily keep their friendship? Will they tell each other how they feel?

Best friends who took their sweet time to acknowledge their love for each other… I wanted to shout & then smack the main characters at times but thankfully, although this book hooked me dragging & screaming at times, I was shedding happy, emotional tears at the end. The sexual tension was hectic but once they announced their love for each other things got seriously sexy & fun. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
This is a cute friends to lovers tale touched with a bit of angst. Vincent is rich & his best friend Emily comes from a more middle class family so basically it’s about the different classes. He’s working for his dad who is looking to hand the business over to him but he doesn’t want the fake marriage his parents have.
Well both our protagonists have unrequited love for the other, unbeknown to each. They’ve never taken it further than a kiss which lingers in their memories.
So what happens when he needs to marry & she’s the wedding planner? An interesting scenario to keep you interested. Overall a feel good tale.

They are best friends that packs the heat in this delightful story that will have you laughing while cheering for this couple to get their happily ever after. This is an amazing story that is well written with characters that you can relate to. The story captures your attention right from the beginning and have you on the edge of your seat to see what is going to happen next with their antics,! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Emily and Vincent are best friends and are too afraid t admit to one another that they have feelings that are more than friendship. However when Vincent’s parents blackmail him into marrying a friends daughter everything comes to a head. Especially when he asks Emily to be the wedding planner for the wedding. Emily is heartbroken and really wants nothing to do with it but he makes it hard for her to refuse. Vincent knows the woman he wants is Emily but he thinks he can’t have her so why not go along with his parents. That is until he sees something in Emily’s eyes that gives him a reason to fight for her. Can Vincent claim Emily before his parents can talk him out of it? Will Emily get her heart’s desire?
This is an amazing story that will have you rooting for the main character straight through til the end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Vincent and Emily have been the best of friends since they were kids – at least on the outside. But on the inside, both wish they had the courage to take it further. But risking the loss of the best friendship ever kept both holding back. That one kiss gave Emily something real to compare with all other kisses – and no one ever even came close to what she felt with Vincent. He was it.
When Vincent’s wealthy parents found someone for him to marry, they put the pressure on. If he rejected the marriage, he would lose everything, his money, his future. Will Vincent and Emily finally admit what they feel? Or will they give up and let go of a lifetime of love?
The reader will adore these two characters. They were the best of friends, believable and likable. The reader can feel how much they longed for each other over all those years. What are they going to do with this ultimatum hanging over Vincent? Grab your copy and find out!
Summer Brooks does q wonderful job with this story. Full of heart felt goodness, a girl would be so lucky to have a life-long friend like Vincent. He doted on her and she on him, and it was so well written but i understand that notion of not saying something because you don’t want to wreck what it’s perfect as is. Emily and Vincent brng the romance and Love so well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great read Summer!!
This was an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I loved Vincent and Emily’s story so much that I actually read it in about a day. There were funny parts and plenty of hot steamy sexy parts that I definitely highlighted and enjoyed. This book kept me on the edge of my seat I didn’t know what to expect and that’s the perfect recipe for a great romance

Enduring Young Love
This young couple met when they were pre-teens and were good friends only until their late twenties. Some people just know right away and as well, at a young age too boot, when they fall in love. The path to their happy every after was fraught with angst due to the main male character`s family expectations. When he came into his own and fully matured, he was able to stand up for himself and choose his own path. Enduring young love. Great romance.

Emily and Vincent have been best friends for so long ,but both secretly in love with each other, but Vincent’s parents are rich and want him with someone who is also rich ,but when he gets engaged all heck breaks loose. Can he keep his best friend or will he lose Emily forever? This book was absolutely fantastic and the bond between them is years of being by each others side . There is a fine line between best friends and lovers and when they cross it will they have each other? Or will his family step in and set Vincent up with another woman who is rich? I just couldn’t get enough of them and you could connect with their emotions and felt bad for both of them. Fantastic book.
I am absolutely loving every word Summer Brooks is giving us especially lately.
Emily and Vincent have been best friends since they met when they were eleven. Since that day they have been inseparable even though his parents didn’t approve of her. Now they are making demands that Vincent is really not happy with and it takes one event to open his eyes to what was right in front of him the whole time.
OMG – I love Summer’s books! I had forgotten what her books were all about but this was something else. Here are two BFF’s Emily and Vincent. They have been friends forever but at the age of 27 – neither have married and/or dated someone seriously because they both have feelings for each other that neither of them know about! Emily is a wedding planner and good at what she does, the first section with her is hilarious as the wedding for one couple turns into two. Vincent on the other hand is wealthy man but mom and dad want him to marry their next door neighbor’s daughter Kiera. Neither Kiera or Vincent have feelings for each other, but he has no choice but marry her or he loses all of his years of work in the family business and his inheritance, so he asks her to plan the wedding for him. Kiera on the other hand is devastated but doesn’t mention anything to her beau and he ends up leaving. What happens with Jason and Kiera they deserve to have a happy ending like Emily and Vincent. I hope Summer has plans for this too….
