Going home is rarely a good idea, until you discover what home really means.
After the disaster of Westland’s steroid scandal, Chuck Mathis knows his baseball dreams are kaput; so he decides to focus on his other dream: psychology. He’ll graduate from Westland University, then he’ll leave Madison to earn his master’s and PhD. Nothing is going to stand in his way. Not his overbearing father. Not … father. Not even baseball.
Except maybe Sophie Tipton.
Chuck decides to work for his father and play on his father’s slow-pitch softball team over the summer. Sophie manages the team. She’s not about to let some college baseball player take over either. And Chuck wants to do more than just play ball with the fiery beauty.
Just as things are falling into place, they start to fall apart. Chuck has to choose between his love of baseball and the girl who has stolen his heart.
It’s an impossible decision.

Great read! I’ve volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. Lynn Stevens is new to me. Stealing Home is the third book in the Westland University series. This is Chuck and Sophie’s story. Sophie, the manager of the team that Chuck’s dad owns. Chuck & Sophie were so entertaining. I love the chemistry between Sophie and Chuck kept me turning the pages until very end! Chuck and Sophie are obviously meant to be together. Even if it takes forever for them to realize it. This is a MUST READ!! Keep up the great job! I can’t wait to read more from this author.
This is a enemies 2 lovers romance. Chuck loses his scholarship and goes home for the summer. He meets sophie on his dads softball team. What will he do?

What a cute book! I’m a big fan of sports romances and this was a great one. Chuck & Sophie were so entertaining. I loved watching them both try to figure out their feelings. I especially loved watching Chuck figure out his life and make decisions about whats most important.
A very great read!!
When Chuck loses his scholarship, he comes home to a job at his father’s company, which enables him to plan on their baseball team. Sophie is the manager, and they butt heats from the moment they meet. They eventually become friends, and then more. This was a wonderful book, my first from this author, and I really enjoyed it. Chuck and Sophie are obviously meant to be together, even if it takes forever for them to realize it. I love his mother. She give him some great advice even when he doesn’t realize that he needs it. And especially like how she doesn’t take any crap from his father. Speaking of whom, I had a hard time warming up to him, with his feelings of “my way or the highway”, which are overwhelming at times. He eventually turns out to be a good guy. Roger is pretty much unlikable at most every point in time, just way too cocky. Chuck’s friend, Joey – what a heartbreaking past for this young man, but he’s very personable, and I love seeing him grow throughout the book. I’m looking forward to more from this author.

Chuck is home for the summer to work for his father and play on the company’s co-ed softball team. The first day he shows up, Sophie, the manager of the team, and him butt heads. This is a beautiful story about enemies to lovers and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, after reading it. The secondary characters enhance the story even more. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say you may need a tissue a time or two. Grab your copy and see if Chuck hits a home run or strikes out, in the end.
