She belongs to my brother… Grandmother’s bar — needs a new cook for the food truck, I jump at the opportunity, despite the fact that Kennedy Ward hates me. At least, she pretends she does. We both know she secretly wants me and always has.
One way or another, I will get her to finally admit it, even if it involves losing my brother. I plan to play dirty — real dirty — just like he did. This time I’m going to beat him at his own game. I wanted her first, and he knew that, but our age kept us apart.
Not anymore.
Now, I’m grown and ready to take what should’ve been mine to begin with.

HOT!!!!! This book is HOT! Colson is HOT!!!! He takes the place of any book boyfriend you’ve ever had! Victoria Ashley brought me to my knees with this book! I have read every single book of hers and this one takes the cake!! Colson is every girls dream and then some. His and Kennedys chemistry is off the charts HOT!!!! The want and love he has for her is absolutely breathtaking…. Well done Victoria Ashley…WELL DONE!!!!
I liked this one. Kennedy is best friends with Blaire. Blaire has two brothers, Dax and Colson. Kennedy has been dating Dax on and off for a long time. She shares a moment with Colson but then he left town. Colson is now back and he wants Kennedy as his girl. Colson at time was a little too cocky for me but he knows what he wants and nothing is going to stop him from getting it. Kenndey and Colson have this hate relationship going on but it’s only Kennedy hiding her real feelings. I loved the banter between the two. Sometimes I felt bad for Dax but somethings not so much. This one was a good read.
Victoria Ashley brings out the heat and angst to epic levels in Steal You Away. A best friends little brother romance with a twist. The angst and sexual tension was in this is completely off the charts hot and I loved every moment!
Colson and Kennedy’s story is captivating, steamy, emotional and angsty. The push and pull between these two was intense and their chemistry was on fire. I adored how much Colson had loved her from afar for years.
I loved this book. Victoria Ashley has a way with words in creating characters that pull you in and hooks you into their story, and makes you feel. Hot chemistry, angst and a sexy man who is willing to do whatever is necessary to claim the woman who has always had his heart made this a riveting and entertaining read.
Wow! Get ready for a ride! This book is FULL of drama and high emotions! I really liked Dixie and Colson and thought that the chemistry between them was off the charts. I definitely didn’t feel that same chemistry when Dixie was with Dax.
This book was one that pulled me in and didn’t let me go. I had to know what was going to happen with Dixie and Dax and then if Dixie was going to give Colson a chance.
You won’t be disappointed.
Alisa
I loved this book!
Colson has wanted Kennedy since he first met her. He tries to stay away because of her dating his older brother but finally reached his limit & doesn’t stop until gets the girl he believes is his forever. Colson is relentless in his pursuit and there is so much more to him than the cocky guy he comes across as in the beginning. I loved absolutely everything about this story.
This is a standalone book told in a dual POV. Get ready for some serious steam and drama.
Colson is sexy, confident, cocky, has a smart mouth, and knows what he wants and goes after it. He’s had his sights set on Kennedy since the moment he met her. There were a few problems with that. Initially, he was too young. Once he became of age, the biggest problem was that she was dating his older brother, Dax. This is quite the problem because Colson is determined to get the girl of his dreams, Kennedy. Even at the cost of his relationship with his brother. That won’t deter him though. He’ll do anything to get his girl because she is his, no matter what anyone else thinks.
Kennedy is best friends with Dax and Colson’s sister. She used to be good friends with Colson, even hanging out with him skateboarding. Ever since she started dating Dax, her relationship with Colson had become combative. He continually makes flirty comments and she is constantly telling him that she wants nothing to do with him. She tries to act as if she hates him. But you know what they say….there’s a thin line between love and hate. Not helping matters, she has had relationship issues with Dax. They’ve had an on-again, off-again relationship and she is starting to question whether they should be together. She finds herself stealing glances at Colson when she thinks no one is looking. What she doesn’t know is that Colson notices and he knows that even if she won’t admit it to herself, she is attracted to him. Can Kennedy sort out her feelings to see who she really wants to be with? Will she choose Dax or Colson?
This is a super steamy, push and pull love triangle. It is packed full of sexual tension, passion, some angst, and witty banter. Colson is my favorite! His dirty talking and determination only up the hotness factors. I really enjoyed this book. This is my first book by Victoria Ashley but after reading this, I am anxious to read other books she has written. I recommend reading this book.
***ARC generously provided in exchange for an honest review.***
I can never ever get enough of Victoria Ashley’s words!!!!!!!
NEVER EVER!!!!!!
She is my go-to for everything!
Her words are steamy and angsty and paint the most vivid picture!!
I have never struggled to picture every little detail that’s described, so perfectly, in a Victoria Ashley book and Steal You Away was no exception!
I’ve never found myself in the corner of the other person but I was so far in Colson’s corner it was ridiculous!!!!
Hot skater with ripped jeans and chiselled chin to match – be still my beating heart!!
Kennedy, the female lead, was this strong independent, take-no-shit, character that I found myself instantly drawn to from the beginning!!!!
My expectations for all Victoria Ashley’s book are off the charts high!
Like, skyscraper high and…she never disappoints…ever!
Each story is so different and as captivating as the last!!
I adored Steal You Away!
I fell in complete love with Colson and Kennedy so easily that by the time it came to the last page I was stupidly sad!
It was like I was pining for more of their story!
Wicked funny banter and an intensity between the pages that was hard to deny!!!!!!!!
There’s not enough words for me to describe how much I loved this book!
Loved it so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first Victoria Ashley book and also my first hot-hole.
Boy, what have I been missing out on?
Colson is sexy and hot. He is filthy. And he lets Kennedy know from the get-go. I may have had issues with both of them at first but I quickly changed my mind as the book went on. The chemistry between them is .
The steam and angst in this book along with all the emotion and feelings will have you turning the pages to get to the end.
Steal you away
This book was well written and I enjoyed
Reading this book I was involved with the Mc and I loved how this book was told
I didn’t feel bored by the Story
I recommend this book to anyone that loves a great story.
I voluntarily read an advance book and my opinion are my own.
This book I could not put down!! Colson Bennett is sexy personified… wow the way he comes in no holes barred and looks to steal his brother Dax’s girlfriend Kennedy from right under his nose is so freaking insanely HOT!! This story is funny, sweet and it’s ruthless the games Colson plays to get the girl he’s been in love with forever is nothing short of awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of this one, it was instant chemistry, it was highly entertaining and it was panties melting hotness overload… if you haven’t read it what are you waiting for!!
This was quite an entertaining read. A love triangle between two brothers and the girlfriend? Oh my! I was wondering what caused the rift between the brothers in the first place and it was enough for me to keep reading until I found out. From the very moment we meet Colson after the skate park incident, I knew that this book was gonna have some serious heat. The level of angst was off the charts. I wanted to shake Kennedy so many times, she had so much inner turmoil for no reason. She really just needed to trust her gut. Every time something was mentioned about Colson’s food, my mouth was salivating. I can’t believe I was fangirling over fictional food. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Read it to find out who gets the girl.
I absolutely loved Colton and Kennedy. Even though Kennedy has been with his brother Dax for years, Colton is finally ready to make his move on his brothers girlfriend and normally that would make me not like him but I was completely on Coltons team, hoping and praying he was going to win his girl.
Colson is the perfect mix of cocky and arrogant, and sweet, caring and loyal protector. This guy had me swooning so hard. I’m claiming him as mine and I will fight you for him! I love a determined guy, a man who’s not afraid to go after what he wants and that’s Colson!
Kennedy was surprisingly easy to like. She’s been off and on with Dax for years but I couldn’t see the appeal of him to be honest. She’s working hard trying to prove to her grandmother that she’s ready to take over Dixies Alibi and the last thing she needs is her boyfriends brother working at their food truck. The more he pushes, the harder it is for Kennedy to ignore the chemistry between them. The banter and push and pull between them made it impossible to put this book down. I’m a huge fan of this author and definitely recommend reading this book!
Victoria Ashley just wrote your new book boyfriend with Colson Bennett!
As a boy, Colson was easy on the eyes and hard on the heart. But as a man, his sculpted body and handsome face will have your heart racing and your mouth watering. Oh, and he cooks, yes cooks. He’s perfect!
However, time was as much a friend as an enemy to Colson. As a boy, he had a crush on Kennedy, an older girl, his brother’s girlfriend…his one true love One that he never got over. Their friendship was strong but Kennedy belonged to his brother…for the moment.
Kennedy was finally about to take over her grandmother’s bar and her relationship with her boyfriend was doing ok. Life was good. But when Colson returns back to town, he stirs up trouble and feelings, the good and very bad kind. She never truly knew the depth of his feelings or his protective nature. But everyone else did.
When Colson begins working for Kennedy he lets her know that he’s been waiting on her. She’s always been his. His confidence knows no bounds. His touch, his words, his very being ignites a fire in Kennedy that she can’t ignore. When her body and heart finally give into Colson, she knows he’s the one. But the fallout with family is harder than anticipated. But Colson refuses to waiver. He’s waited his entire life for this chance.
This story will steal your heart but Colson will never leave you wanting. His determination, perseverance, and confidence will have you falling head over heels in love with this new book boyfriend.
Omg Victoria Ashley has done it again… written an absolutely fantastic story that has hit the top spot of my quarantine reading!!
I absolutely adored Colson.. who is ready to do anything to get the girl he’s loved for years to see him as anything but her boy friends and her best friends younger brother… he is ready to take Kennedy back from his brother. He’s the very definition of the hot, bad boy and is ready to go to any length to win Kennedys love.
Woowwweeeee! This book was HAWT!!! The dynamics and tension with Kennedy and Colson just ignites heat… I loved it so hard. Now I want a Colson myself!! The only thing i would have liked a little more info on was the backstory of exactly why Colson & Dax didn’t get along and what prompted Dax to chase after Kennedy after finding out that Colson had a thing for her.
I recommend this book!!
I recieved an ARC for my honest review.
First off, this cover… YUUUMMMM! Truly the definition of drool worthy.
Ok now to get into this story. Colson and Kennedy (love those names, wink) grew up together and have a bit of an unrequited, frienemies, younger boy/older girl vibe in the beginning. As the story progresses you come to understand that these two where close childhood friends until Kennedy started dating Colson’s older brother Dax. Can you say messy?!
Gracious this read will take you on a young love, drama filled ride. It didn’t always feel like the characters where making the most mature choices but isn’t that the true craziness of relationships.
This book really is about being true to your heart with the least amount of fallout. Eek. It gets intense at times. I wanna tell you more, discussing all the insight and feelings this storyline produced. I won’t because this isn’t a book club or a spoiler room. (Biting on my nails wanting to say more). Yikes! Ok I will shut up now. You will have to experience it for yourself.
Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO
I don’t really know how to review this book in an accurate way. It has angst, hotness, strong characters, bold action, fun dialogue and very, VERY steamy scenes. This author knows her craft and always impresses me with her characters decisions. What I enjoyed most about this story was how the characters weaves around each other and the push and pull of their attraction and “fight” against their feelings. I did not put the story down and was happy with the ending.
First of all the cover model is smokin. So normally I would never condone someone who has gone out with both brother, and maybe its because I have sisters and could never see myself doing that, that said when I read the blurb I was intrigued and it could have been that the very first book I read from Victoria Ashley was sex material which I loooved, so I couldn’t imagine that I would hate this book. And let me tell you that I was right, I wanted Colson for me he sounded hot and I also understood why he felt the way he did against his brother Dax whom I did not care for. I am also not a fan of the breaking up and getting back together bit, once maybe but not repeatedly, by then you should know that things are not working out. I felt for Kennedy, she tried to do the right thing according to society’s rules but she loved Colson and even though she tried she finally gave in, and at the end when they talked everything out, it was him she should have ended up with from the very beginning.
rcvd an ARC at no cost to author….voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
Victoria Ashley brings heat and angst to extreme and epic level in Steal You Away. It has all the breathtaking tension and heartbreaking moments. It has nuclear hot chemistry. All the delicious, dirty and devastating goodness!
Falling for best Friend’s brother is a minefield itself. Dating one brother on and off for years and then falling for the younger brother? It may as well be forbidden to the power extremity. Kennedy didn’t plan for it. But when Colson Bennett came back after years and refused to back down from claiming her, her heart surrendered after a painful and equally pointless battle. Now what will be the consequences?
Colson Bennett is freaking dream material. He is gorgeous and hot as hell. He has a dirty mouth with loads of swag and arrogance and confidence. And the intensity of his feelings made me swoon so hard! He gave up space for his brother when Dax made a move on Kennedy even after knowing that Colson has feelings for her. Simply because he was young. But now after watching Dax never giving Kennedy the attention and adoration she deserves, he is ready to make a move. And he is determined to prove to her that he is worthy and she deserves better. I totally sympathized with poor Kennedy. She is a sweet girl and she doesn’t want to hurt anyone. She went through immense guilt, doubt and shame for wanting Colson. But ultimately she couldn’t deny her feelings or resist the magnetic pull. And of course Colson didn’t make it easy. He used every weapon- seduction, caring, wooing, fighting and pushing harder every moment. Still it’s a messed up situation and they had to go through some heartaching time. And did I say that it was steamy like anything? Well I am saying again. IT WAS SCORCHING HOT.
Enemies to lovers. Best Friend’s brother. The edge of forbidden love. Victoria Ashley ‘s Steal You Away combined every kind of breathtaking, confusing, sensational and soul deep emotion.
Received ARC for honest review
The tension is off the charts. Two brothers, one woman, they both want her but she’s torn between them both.
Kennedy has been seeing Dax on and off for over 8yrs. His younger brother Colson has loved Kennedy since he was really too young for her, but now he’s a man and ready to show the strength of his love for her.
A captivating story which I loved and terrific, well developed characters that are realistic and likeable.
A great read!
Kennedy was in a relationship with Dax (Colson’s brother) from a young age, this book takes place when they have been together for 8 years. It was obvious Kennedy wasn’t happy in the relationship and that it should have ended long before it finally did. I could clearly see she wasn’t happy but that doesn’t excuse some of her behavior while still being in a relationship.
Kennedy and Colson had an insta-attraction that was just there at the beginning of the book. I mostly liked the two of them but there were certain parts that I wasn’t able to move on from to enjoy their story more than I did.
