She belongs to my brother… Grandmother’s bar — needs a new cook for the food truck, I jump at the opportunity, despite the fact that Kennedy Ward hates me. At least, she pretends she does. We both know she secretly wants me and always has.
One way or another, I will get her to finally admit it, even if it involves losing my brother. I plan to play dirty — real dirty — just like he did. This time I’m going to beat him at his own game. I wanted her first, and he knew that, but our age kept us apart.
Not anymore.
Now, I’m grown and ready to take what should’ve been mine to begin with.

When I see Victoria Ashley has a new book out I not only want it, I NEED it! As always, she nailed it again with another 5 Star book. If you love Taboo, Steam, Angst, Sex then you definitely need this story in your life… like soon! Always a fan. 1-Click Author
2 brothers wanting one woman. The sexual tension in this book is freaking hot. Colson has loved Kennedy for most of his life. He’ll do anything for her. I didn’t want this book to end. I loved all the characters I hope we get read more from these characters.
I Love Colson and Kennedy
Smart, ambitious, Kennedy Ward is taking over the bar her grandmother owns and has her hands full………She is the on again, off again girlfriend of her roommate Blaire’s brother, Dax Bennett…Kennedy loves Dax, but she’s never really been in love with him……Now, their younger brother, Colson….She can’t quit thinking about him…..
Kennedy’s grandmother hires a just returned home sexy, confident, all alpha, Colson Bennett to work the food truck outside the bar…It’s not a secret that Colson has been in love with Kennedy since the first time he saw her….Even knowing that, Dax used Colson’s younger age and started a relationship with Kennedy before Colson became old enough….Colson relocated to California to get away from having to see Dax and Kennedy together…..but, at 21, Colson has returned home to claim what’s always been his….
Kennedy’s relationship with Dax has always shown signs of strain….but with Colson’s full-court press, the strain turns to rips and tears….Now, Colson has waited a long time to be with Kennedy….And his big brother had his chance…Colson wants Kennedy….And Kennedy wants Colson….and stop that train at your own peril…
I loved STEAL YOU AWAY….Victoria Ashley always writes hot male characters…and Colson is no exception….It had to be a little harder to write this story and make us love Colson and Kennedy…and still like Dax….there’s usually a bad guy….but there really isn’t one here….It’s a story of an older brother taking what his younger brother wanted but couldn’t have…about a younger brother, selflessly, holding back to give the woman he loved and his older brother a chance…about two brothers in love with the same woman….and about a woman involved with two brothers…..but it’s always apparent with whom she belongs…..
Wow! This was my first read from Victoria Ashley and I floved it I loved Colson and Kennedy’s vibe. Their incredible attraction to each other was almost palpable to me through the pages. Couldn’t help wishing to be in Kennedy’s shoes and smooching with that devilish hotness personified Colson. Ashley’s writing style is very elegant and easy to read at the same time. The story just flowed and though it was more than 300 pages, I read in one sitting with hearts in my eyes Now that this story is over, I am hoping for more to come from all the other delicious side characters from this book. Lets say Dane, Travis and Ridge come together with Blaire in a #whychoose romance This was way too easy to come up with in my dirty, dirty mind
I loved this book so much! I enjoy a good jealous man who bides his time to get his girl…especially from his brother! Hell yes!
Colson definitely proves himself to be consistent with his intention to divide and conquer Kennedy. He is very in your face and tells everyone exactly what his intentions are without worry. He also proves he has been the one to watch out for her since they were kids. Dax was not in a relationship with Kennedy for the right reasons. She was more a challenge to win, so his brother couldn’t have her.
I enjoyed the back and forth between them all, and absolutely love how this turned out. Great love triangle with a great back history and build up as adults. I would recommend to those who love a love triangle and don’t mind the underdog taking a chance!
Talk about young love, I was taken in by Colson and his love for Kennedy. A little slow to start, but a wonderful finish. I like that the author took the time for the slow burn, that Colson had so much patience while quietly worming his way into Kennedy’s life.
This is the first book I’ve read by Victoria Ashley, but it won’t be the last.
Everything about this book was perfect! It’s a page-turner from start to finish!
Colson was the perfect guy! *Sigh* If only he existed in real life…
Kennedy was lucky to have found someone that wanted her for her. Someone that would love her unconditionally and fight to have and keep her. Mm, and not to mention delicious to look at and hot enough to make her forget reason with just a look, touch, or the sound of his voice!
I loved every second of this story but I guess I expected a little more for the ending. It wasn’t quite how I pictured it, but I enjoyed it all the same. This book is one I would not mind rereading in the future.
Hottt! Colson can talk dirty to me anytime!
The title is Perfect!! I am so in love with Victoria Ashley’s books! This is a younger brother in love with his older brother’s girl!! But, in this juicy story line he, Colton (I love his name) get’s what’s his!!
Kennedy and Dax have had so many break ups, well gorgeous grown-up Colton is tired of waiting, since he has loved Kennedy since forever.
This is such a well written, flowing story. Angsty, yes angsty and a bit frustrated over a stuff that goes on in this addictive, hot book, but it’s what makes it such a great read!! This is a definite reread for me and highly recommended!!
I’ve loved every book that I’ve read from Victoria Ashley and this book was absolutely no exception! Steal You Away is angsty, raw, sexy, hot as hell and really, how could you go wrong with the swoon-worthiness that is Colson Bennett! What do you do when your older brother is dating the girl of your dreams, knowing you wanted her from the beginning? You STEAL HER AWAY, of course! If you love a bestfriends brother romance, you’ll most definitely want to read this one!
Oh my gosh, what a story. I don’t read blurbs of authors I like, so I didn’t know what to expect. Oh my goodness, what a story. This was a great love story of best friend/brother romance. I loved it!!!!!
This book was an up all night read! I knew when I read the blurb I had to read it and I was not disappointed. So much angst, steam, and emotion, along with wonderful characters. Colson and Kennedy are one of my favorite couples. My first Victoria Ashley read and I loved it!
Love can be messy in the best of circumstances but you add in family drama and you have the perfect disaster for muddled messy drama on your hands. What we get here is not just a best friend’s brother but a best friend’s brother who is the current boyfriend and their younger brother triangle. It might sound confusing, but it is not. I really liked the premise of the story, but I found major flaws in each of the characters that were too big for me to ignore. Kennedy’s best friend is a great sister, I think?, but she is not the best of friends to Kennedy. I tried to understand their friendship and her relationship with her brothers but all around I couldn’t really grasp it. Then we get to Colson who I have to say is darn hard to resist and I did fall in love with him. What I didn’t love was the feud between him and his older brother. It took away from the very real connection and love he had for Kennedy because so much attention was spent on the sibling rivalry between him and Dax. I was happy when he got real and stopped with his very aggressive sexual advances because it wasn’t a good look. The guy who cared more about loving Kennedy than having her as apposed to his brother is the guy I fell in love with.
I found it easy to read and even though the story is messy (very messy) the characters and story line was easy to follow. I would like to say that they are complicated and complex which might be true, but I didn’t feel them on that level I think because for me they came across just a little immature. Overall, I enjoyed the read and the drama and definitely Colson!
Tension, hotness a cocky alpha. Steal You Away has it all.
Now, I was a little put off by Colson’s forwardness at the beginning, how he would pursue Kennedy relentlessly even though she was his brothers girlfriend. As the story unfolds though and you begin to understand the history and the reasons for Colson only just making his move it all comes to light.
Steal You away was a good story with characters that definitely deserved to be with each other. I haven’t read a love triangle in a long time and I found the suspense had me turning the pages eagerly to see how it would all unfold.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to HEA.
Colson, be still my beating heart!
This book sucked me in from the very first chapter and spat me back out at the end. I fell completely in love with Colson from the moment he came on the page. He was such a cocky little so and so, but we all know I’m trash for bad boys. Honestly, he was so intense in his pursual of Kennedy, but it never crossed over the line. The boy had been in love with her half their lives and it was so wonderful to see them get their happy ending.
Kennedy drove me a little crazy with her insistence on staying with Dax in the first half of the book. I understood they’d been together for so long, but they were never any good for each other. Besides, I really hated Dax. He was really aggressive in the way he handled Kennedy and not in a good way. So when that finally ended, I was practically jumping for joy. Kennedy belonged with Colson. They were friends first. They’d been close as kids. Had the same interests and my god, did Colson care about her so much. He KNEW everything about her and protected her. Gosh, he really did a number on me haha!
I’m so glad I decided to pick this one up. I love romances on the forbidden side and this really ticked all the boxes for me.
Kennedy finally is taking over the bar after being ready for years, but she needs a cook, she never expected her grandmother to find a cook or for it to be Colson, the younger brother of Dax who she’s dating and trying to make things work with.
Colson has always wanted Kennedy and his brother knew it. Now he’s back and he’s determined to make Kennedy realise that he’s the brother that she wants. Colson knows that Kennedy feels something for him but keeps denying it. He knows his brother only dated Kennedy because he wanted her, now he’s determined to make Kennedy his.
Kennedy gets pulled between the brothers, which one will she choose the one she’s comfortable with and been with for years or the one who she hates and has wanted her since he first saw her and makes her feel things she’s never felt before.
I loved slipping away into this sweet but phenomenal slow burn of a read. Colson Bennett is definitely not your average hero. I love that he’s known what he wants and wasn’t afraid to go get it, despite the circumstances. Definitely one of my top Victoria Ashley books to date.
This was a solid older woman, younger man, best friend’s brother romance. It was incredibly steamy and there was a lot of sexual tension between Kennedy and Colson. I wish there had been more character development, Kennedy and Colson dealt with the same feelings and had the same doubts the entire novel. There were also some scenes that felt unnecessary or were out of character.
Victoria Ashley’s books are the exception to the rule! They have a way to grab you from the beginning to the very end!! Colson has always been in love with Kennedy since they were teenagers, but his brother Dax got the girl first, now he’s back to steal her away! This book is emotional at time, hot, sexy and sometimes your laughing with them or crying!!
Will Colson and Kennedy get their happily ever after or will Dax ruin it all?
This book was really good! I love the characters and the story. It was well written. It was so sweet that he was already in love with her when he was ten and she was thirteen. He was forever waiting for her to be ready to be with him.
