Life lesson from Grady Buchanan: If you’re going to fall in love with the untouchable girl in town, don’t hire her as your only employee. Even after he bungled the interview with Magnolia MacIntyre, he knew better than to hire her. The list of why it’s a bad idea is a long one. Her father could ruin his fledgling business. She is completely overqualified. And he’s attracted to her. What does … to her.
What does Grady do? He offers her the job.
Magnolia knew better than to take it. Normally, she’d make the safe choice, and working for Grady is anything but.
He’s new in town–and entirely too charming.
Her dad will be furious.
She hates the outdoors and working for an outdoor adventure company is not exactly the right fit.
What does she do? She says yes on the spot.
Grady and Magnolia will have to prove to everyone in their life that they’re not crazy. And prove to each other that the list of why it’s a bad idea should be tossed out the window.
For these two opposites, sometimes doing the wrong thing is exactly right.

My cheeks are hurting from all the grinning I was doing while reading this baby. Seriously hurting because this was such a fun, sweet ride that I didn’t want to end. My love for Grady and Magnolia…I honestly wish there had been more pages to read because their journey hit all the right buttons and then some.
So, basically, I adored Grady and Magnolia. Both of them are simply good people, who love hard and are both on a similar path to working towards their own happiness on their own terms. That path got a bit rocky for a multitude of reasons, but I enjoyed every step as they found themselves and each other.
And speaking of finding each other. Yes, both Grady and Magnolia find themselves in an awkward position ~ again for a couple of reasons ~ and their first collision was quite interesting, but I loved watching as they brought out the best in each other and how they truly liked who the other person was for all their strengths, quirks and faults. And I loved how everything turned out for them in the end.
I’ll be honest and admit that I while I was all kinds of excited to get my hands on this baby, I was a bit wary of where Grady and Magnolia’s journey would take us, but any worry I had was quickly put to rest. This book really was a great addition to the series. It is more sweet and upbeat than angsty, though there are a few issues that do come up in the story, but they were necessary to both Grady and Magnolia’s evolution. And as for the supporting cast of characters ~ as you know love all things Green Valley, so to get to spend some time there is always fun, but I enjoyed catching up with Grace and Tucker, getting to know Magnolia’s family a little more and Maxine was simply awesome! And now, I’m making grabby hands at Hunter’s book 🙂
Note: This can be read as a stand-alone, but I do believe that reading this series in order would be the better path to take.

Steal My Magnolia is an interesting mix of insta-love and slow burn. The way the author wound the two together is pure genius. I loved seeing both characters realize they needed to compromise and be ok in the hands of another.
We’ve met Magnolia & Grady in Batter of Wits and even from that book, they were characters I really wanted to get to know more.
Magnolia felt like she’s crafting her life within the confines of what people around her consider “acceptable” and that if she continues to do well, no one will notice how unhappy she is. BUT she’s determined to make some changes. I always enjoy reading about characters taking charge of their own lives Magnolia is also hella driven and whip-smart and I love that about her.
Grady is Grace’s twin who packed up his life in California and moved to Green Valley. He wanted to start a guided hiking and camping business. Magnolia getting a job at Grady’s business made her feel hopeful, as he had no preconceived notion of magnolia unlike everyone else in the town. She wanted a change and this felt like the first step she took. The process of them getting to know each other is sooo cute. The flirting and the banter really got me!!
I get so amused when I see Grady (and the other Buchanans) absolutely whipped for their love interest. I mean, ofcourse the “Buchanan love curse” plays a role, but the way Karla Sorensen puts their feelings into words makes me swoon.
This is definitely a slow-burn. They have lots of cute moments but they get together at the end. I’m giving it 4/5 because I think Grady really could have handled things better. “Great intentions, poor execution” just like he said but still!! This was so cute! <3
A part of me was thinking this would be the last book about the Buchanans but!!! The second epilogue!!!! I’m so giddy, I’ve been hearing about Hunter since the first book. This series is truly one of my faves. I mean... Karla Sorensen’s writing and family dynamics in the Green Valley universe? Yes and I want more please!
I’m obsessed with the Buchanan family and their crazy love curse. While the love at first sight trope is usually hard for me to get into, Karla’s take on it is really interesting and always leaves me excited for the next book in the series.
From the time I read the teaser for Steal My Magnolia in Batter of Wits, I couldn’t wait to see how Grady and Magnolia’s love story would play out. It was complicated from the very beginning and I would have never guessed how it would all come together. Grady is an idea guy. Smart, driven, creative, but isn’t the most organized or the best at putting together solid plans. Enter Magnolia – organized, intelligent, personable and connected. The perfect woman to bring some order and strategy to Grady’s big ideas. They worked well together at work, getting Valley Adventures up and running quickly.
This book was really slow burning, but it made me respect how they got to know each other better, personally and professionally. Even though Grady felt the pull of the curse toward Magnolia from the very first moment, I really liked that he didn’t act on it at all, that he wanted to know more about this girl that was so special to him.
And, even though it ended up going poorly for him (in more ways than one), I loved that Grady wanted Magnolia to be the first person to know about his feelings – not his twin, or his best friend…her. Kudos to Magnolia for taking some space to sort through the craziness – I can’t imagine having that dropped on me and reacting any differently. She had just figured out who she was and who she wanted to be outside of everyone’s expectations for her, so I’m glad she didn’t just fall back into wanting to be what someone else told her to be just to please them.
I appreciated the candidness around Magnolia as a biracial character and how it was woven into the story and into her as a character. I loved that Karla didn’t shy away from addressing the real issues she faces every day living in Tennessee.
My biggest complaint with this book was how strongly Grace and Tucker reacted to Grady’s big revelation. Having been in his shoes not long ago, I would have thought they wouldn’t be so judgmental and would understand how the curse works better than anyone else. Yes, it was weird, but it felt like their reactions were a little too intense. I’m really glad they got over the awkwardness and accepted Grady and Magnolia as part of the family.
Can’t wait to read the next installment of the Love at First Sight series! I can already tell that Hunter and Iris’s story is going to tug at my heartstrings. Bring on more of the Buchanan family!
It’s so lovely to be back not only in the world of Green Valley, but with the Buchanan family. The Buchanan curse has of course, struck again (if you know, you know) but instead of it being easy, it’s the opposite of that in every conceivable way. But what I truly adored about this was how Grady listened. To Magnolia. And even though it seemed like they hit more than one roadblock, they didn’t let it steer them off course too much. This was delightful, even if it was slightly more hard hitting than I was expecting it to be. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this and all opinions are my own.
Steal my Magnolia is the third book in the Love at First Sight by Karla Sorensen. If you have read the previous books in this series, you know the basis of this series. When a Buchannan fall in love is forever.
This is the story of Grady, the twin brother of Grace who story was told in the second book, and his love interest is nothing that Grace’s boyfriend exgirlfriend Magnolia!! who we meet in the second book too.
Magnolia is looking for a change in her life so she quit to work with her father and start looking for a new one, thats why she finds herself in Grady’s new business applying for a job. And when Grady see Magnolia for the first time he knows she is the one for him but the first time he doesn´t know who she really is, of course when he finds he is that Magnolia, he doesn’t care, because she is a great employee and a great person who he really wants to know more.
Magnolia finds her new job interesting like her new boss, but because she is planning a new life where not her father or another person can tell her what she needs to do, she denies her feelings for Grady.
We know that when a Buchannan falls in love they give everything, but when Magnolia knows about those strong feelings from Brady she is not so sure that she feels the same so she needs to take a decision, and let her fears behind if she really wants to have her HEA with Brady.
This series is everything!! i love it so much and I’m so excited for the next book, even though i know i have to wait to read it!!
Sorensen has written my favorite book of hers to date.
This book is why Karla Sorensen is one of my favorite authors to read. Grady and Magnolias story will knock y’all on your bottom. A love story that makes you feel. You feel every single emotion there is in this story. This story is deep and is beautifully written. Delicate…..yet so powerful!!
I’m not going into much detail because this story just needs to be read. By EVERY SINGLE PERSON! Absolutely romance perfection.
Highly recommended.
*I was provided with an advanced copy of this book by the author in exchange for my voluntary and honest review.*

Steal My Magnolia might be my favorite Karla Sorensen book to date. I haven’t read them all but I have read several, and this one is right up there at the top. I like the familiarity of Green Valley as a backdrop, and she’s done an amazing job giving her characters their own lives there.
“Losing the sense of sight in no way diminished Magnolia’s effect on me.”
I mean, come on. My poor heart.
“She’s nothing I was looking for, and she is every-f*cking-good-thing I could ever want. And I just lost her.”
Cue the tears. This book is absolutely delightful, it’s charming and witty, such a deliciously slow burn, and full of warm fuzzy feelings. The way Karla represented an interracial relationship and its potential challenges were well done and very respectful. Definitely recommend, it’s everything you need right now.
The Buchanan Curse was real and Grady knew he was doomed. Of all the women why did it have to be Magnolia!?!
Magnolia is ready to branch out on her own and working for Grady is her first step. Now can she trick Grady into hiring her.
Fate puts these two together and love will keep them together. Such a perfectly written story! Read it!!
This book is sweet and swoony and hot and sassy and just lovely. Karla Sorenson has a way of writing the most-swoon worthy book boyfriends and Grady if everything you want in one. He’s protective, respectful, rugged, genuine, and damn hot! He falls for Magnolia so fast it makes his head spin and turns his world upside down and she’s not necessarily ready for him in her current place in life. They are opposite in every way and she just so happens to be the ex of his twin sister’s boyfriend – how’s that for complicated. If you love a good romance with some southern charm and sass, you need to read this one!
Needing help organizing his new business Grady hires the beautiful woman who enters the shop not knowing exactly who she really is. But when Magnolia’s identity is finally revealed, can true love override the baggage she comes with? And what happens when her ex-fiancé happens to be your twin sisters soulmate? Can you really be a match made on heaven? or Hell? You will laugh out loud and sigh with happiness while reading this book. Another great addition to the Love at First Sight Series.
I loved this book so much. It was simply wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough.
Oh, it’s so good to be back in Green Valley and especially with the Buchanan brothers.
This is the story of Grady and Magnolia. And if you read the first two books, you should already know all about the Buchanan course and what happens when Cupido strikes his arrow when less expecting.
I love their journey of discovering themselves and discover what they actually want from each other, how much that chemistry sparks and how the author has demonstrated that love doesn’t care about anything, no skin colour or judgement, no upbringing or anything at all.
Beautiful interracial romance story that I couldn’t stop reading.
