I was so engaged in Ash and Mack’s journey from the very beginning! The characters were created with great detail and the storyline was so well written which made this book a very enjoyable read!
Ash and Mack have a history. They grew up together. She is his best friends’ little sister, so when they run into each other on the other side of the country and take a road trip back to their hometown together new feelings come to light and tension builds.
Ash wanted to keep everything hidden from their friends and family, however, Mack wanted to share everything. He didn’t want to hide their relationship. But with a surprise pregnancy, how long can they really keep things secret?
I LOVED Ash and Mack. Their story was a trip. It was emotional, steamy, tension filled and captivating. Their chemistry is off the charts and you could feel the tension between them just oozing off the pages. There was a bit in the middle of the story where things kind of slowed down, however, they quickly pick back up and it is an emotional ride to the end.
Steal My Heart is a swoon worthy, emotional, best friend’s little sister romance and a MUST READ!
I loved this book. Both have been through a lot over the past few years and not sure where they want to be. Except home. They run into each other on the road to get back home. Ash decides to ride back with Mack after admitting she no longer has her car. Stuck together for a few weeks, they can’t keep their hands off of each other. These two were pretty steamy! Ash is afraid to admit her feelings for him after she’s had bad luck with guys in the past, Mack is afraid to lose someone he loves again. Mack is also Ash’s brother’s best friend and she wants to keep everything between them a secret. I’ve loved this series and will miss all of these characters.
This is my first time reading a book by this author and now I’m hooked. I loved Mack and Ash. Mack and Ash have definitely had some heartbreak and both trying to deal in their own way. These two grew up together and hadn’t seen each other in quite a while, both swarn of the opposite sex, but when he comes to her rescue, everything is about to change. Mack is her brother’s best friend and Ash should be totally off limits, but the chemistry and spark between them is undeniable. Their story is full of heat, their unwillingness to give in to their feelings and the struggle to love someone again. Amazing read, I received a copy of this book.
Steal My Heart is another great read in this small town series. It might be my favorite one too, though I say that about every new book in the series. I was so curious about Ash. She was mentioned in every previous book in this series and I really wanted to get to know her and her story.
Ash and Mack are such a cute couple. They both try to avoid getting too involved with anyone because they are both afraid of losing someone else for various reasons. No wonder they want to protect their hearts so much. Both are very lovable and their feelings are more than understandable after all they have been through. But their sizzling hot chemistry is undeniable …
This is a read that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. There were some tough moments when I learned more about Ash and Mack’s past that broke my heart for them. But there are just as many easy, funny, even hilarious moments, especially when the mutual attraction between the two became too strong …
I loved this book and I wanted it to never end.

This book is definitely swoon worthy! Mack and Ashley (Ash) both are heading home to Stolen Hearts Rescue and Lodge when they cross paths. Ash has been gone for 18 months working on the rodeo circut as a veterinarian while Mack has been working as a Hot Shot firefighter in Montana. The meet up in a bar where Ash is playing to earn money to get back home. Mack helps Ash when a fan gets a little to handsy by coming to her defense and getting the jerk to leave her alone.
Mack and Ash grew up together, Mack is good friends with Ash’s brother while Ash is good friends with Mack’s sister Evie. Neither have had feelings for the other, but as they make their way home sparks begin to fly. Both have things in their past that they need to get over, maybe they can help each other out and find what they both been searching for a happily ever after.

Mack and Ash’s story was full of angst, chemistry, tension and love! When Mack runs into Ash and she needs a ride home with him, their road trip turns into something they didn’t expect. They each have baggage they’re afraid to unload and instead of acknowledging their growing feelings, they try to snuff it out. When they arrive home to Stolen Hearts Valley, hiding their relationship from their friends is easier said than done. There’s a curveball thrown in at the end that I’m not going to spoil. This was a sweet, a angsty, friends to lover romance that I loved!
Ashley was just trying to make her way home when she runs into Mack her brother’s best friend. The sparks fly between them but they both have troubled past that they need to deal with. This book was amazing. I could not put it down. I love J.H. Croix! Her writing just sucks you and makes you feel like you are right there in her book! I love all her books but this one was by far one of my favorites. I love getting updates on her previous characters from the series. I loved this entire series!

Once I started this book I could not put it down until I reached the last page. Mack and Ash will definitely warm up your night. Ash can’t believe it when 6′ 5″ Mack comes to her rescue at a bar where she has just finished playing. They haven’t seen each other for several years and they are both a long way from home. Mack soon learns that Ash plans to play in joints and hitchhike her way home and he informs her that she can ride with him seeing as he is best friends with Ash’s brother and he knows that he would be in big trouble if he didn’t take care of her. Ash finally agrees to the arrangement because it will definitely save her money and it is a way for them to catch up. However, neither of them factors in what will happen the longer they have to share hotel rooms and the close confines of a pick-up cab. Growing up, they never had any feelings for each other, so they are both caught unawares by the sparks they are generating now. Once that spark finds a foothold all bets are off and the so are the clothes. Once they arrive home, Ash is bound and determined to keep their relationship a secret, but reality may have other ideas. This book had me laughing and swooning and saying “OMG” a lot. I highly recommend it.

Loved it. These two characters have been through a lot and have come out on the other side. This is not to say they still have baggage that needs to be unpacked before they can take the next step in life.
Road trip with benefits. Hot dude and a singer that moves your soul will taking your mind on a trip with her songs. Fun, laughter, sizzling heat and a need like no other.
This book makes for some real warm reading.

When they get home Ash wants to keep their arrangement quiet but somethings are not that easy . This story is very entertaining and enjoyable . An all out fantastic story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Mack met Ashley way out in Wyoming, a long way from the Carolina’s Smokey Mountains where they grew up together, Ash being his best friend Jackson’s little sister. She’s been following rodeos and being veterinarian for them while picking up gigs playing her guitar and singing. That’s where Mack found her, on stage in a small bar on his way home to work for Jackson’s rescue team. That’s when I recognized this was another of Croix’s great Swoon Series. Each of this pair feels a sparking fire for the other, something they never experienced before in their years together. When he finds out she’s planning to hitchhike her way home, he’s not having it. She’ll ride with him, stay in his hotel room with him, and he’ll make the stops she has set up to perform to make money along the way! Perfect set up for a hot romance page-turner with a stop at Niagra Falls along the way and a homecoming to Stolen Hearts Lodge and all the characters of this series we know and love! I volunteered this review from an ARC.
Steal My Heart stole my heart! I was immediately drawn to Ash’s insecurities and Mack’s restraint. When they finally caved in to the inevitable, I was not disappointed by the searing heat that followed! There was angst, a slow burn that radiated heat long before the first flames sprung out, tons of confused feelings and a glorious HEA. This book left me in a puddle of melted happiness! As always, I loved to revisit old friends from Stolen Hearts Valley in this binge-worthy series and already can’t wait for the next book.

This is my second J.H. Croix book and once again, she proves that excellent writing is what I can expect from her. I LOVED this book. I loved the beautifully complex main characters she created. Both Ash and Mack have so many layers to them that the author slowly and skillfully reveals to her readers. Although they’ve known each other since they were children and have both spent years as part of a large group of friends, their intense attraction is new to them both. Neither one is looking for a relationship and then watching them realize how perfect they are for each other is just magical. The supporting characters are all well drawn and important to the story. This story has humor, explores the pain of great loss, lots of incredible heat, honesty, romance, and a lovely HEA. Once again, this author has given me one of the better books I’ve read in the past year and although there are six previous books in this series, it totally works as a stand-alone. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series that came before. HIGHLY recommend. 🙂

Friends to lovers and best friend’s little sister story with Ash and Mack. Mack runs into Ash when she’s performing in a bar and rescues her from being harassed by a bar patron. When they have dinner, he finds out that she’s planning on hitchhiking back home. He says that he’s going back home, too so she can ride with him. They try to fight their attraction since Ash is Jackson’s younger sister but they can’t. They try to keep their trysts secret but all the friends notice the way they look at each other. I loved getting to see the previous couples and updates on all of them. I liked how they all come together for each other. This is a great series. I don’t know if it’s the last in the series but I would like to see more of all of them. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am leaving my honest review. I also have my own copy on order.
I just love this series I just love reading about characters from other books in this series. I just love Ash and Mack together. I couldn’t put this book down. It is definitely another winning book in a fabulous series by one of my all-time favorite authors!

A must read just like the previous 6.
Steal my Heart will do just that …
This book is super swoon worthy … and it’s a perfect example of why J.H. Croix is such a phenom.
Mack and Ash, who know each other from earlier years, meet up in a bar far away from home and end up on a road trip as she sings her way back home. Along the way, their friendship turns into more and each one finds themselves fighting back the pull of attraction, despite that each has sworn off romance.
This book has terrific characters, hot scenes that will set your eReader on fire, and dialogue that is full of charisma and heart stopping, sigh worthy swoon.
It\’s a 5 star read for me because it crashed through two high bars I set … terrific writing and an immediate re-read … and that’s beyond the character and storyline criteria.
Download Steal My Heart now! … and settle in to a full swoony series!
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
J.H. Croix
Can’t believe this is the last of the Swoon Worthy Series. I was hoping for more.
We finally get to Mack and Ash’s story and boy did Ms Croix did an amazing job to end the series.
I was on a unforgettable journey from the beginning of this series to the last story. It is filled with emotions, laughter and oozing with hotness.
Mack and Ash knew each other when they were young in Stolen Hearts Valley. Both left the small town to
start a new life but some how, home is where the heart belongs. Ash left because she received explicit pictures
from her fiancee’s lover on her Wedding Day. Mack left because one of his sister’s died and he blamed himself.
Both vowed to be single as they don’t want to get hurt. Jackson who is Ash’s brother held a job position for Mack. Ash is going broke and had to play some gigs to make her way home One day, they bumped into each other at a small town and Mack offered to drive her home. Along the way, the developed a friendship which turned into much more. They didn’t want anyone to know about their relationship. Their feelings were so strong and undeniable that Ash became pregnant.
What will they do?
Will they have their HEA!!

I’m really enjoying this series. JH Croix doesn’t disappoint. I loved Mack and Ashley’s story. It captivated me from the beginning and I look forward to more books in the series.
