This is the ninth book in the With Me in Seattle Series. Amelia (Lia) and Wyatt’s story is beautifully written. Wyatt is handsome, but he has trust issues. Lia is lovely, smart, and strong. They share an undeniable chemistry. The storyline is filled with secret, and miscommunication. I loved to follow Lia and Wyatt in their journey to love. The supporting characters are great. The ending is heartwarming. Kitty Bang and Lee Samuels did a good job with the narration.
Professionally Amelia’s career is on the cusp of a success she never would have imagined however that is being hampered by the situation she finds herself in when it comes to her personal life. She needs to get away from LA until the situation is dealt with, so she heads home to Seattle to be near her family.
Wyatt is trying to overcome his own turmoil when it comes to his personal life but from the moment he meets his new neighbor Amelia the sparks fly. It doesn’t take long for their feelings for each other to exceed far beyond the physical however when the past must be dealt with their emotional scars come to the forefront and they will have to decide if they are willing to fight for the future they could have together.
This is a heartwarming story about love, family, healing from the past and new beginnings. Amelia and Wyatt couldn’t have been a better match but first they must overcome the challenges that their life experiences throw in their way. I listened to an audio copy of this story and I enjoyed the performance of the narrators.
Welcome back to the “With Me” series by Kristen Proby. It’s been a hot minute since I read anything from this series, but it was like coming home. I love the Montgomery clan and all the characters we’ve had in the past. The couples and families are all not to be missed and I love that we got cousins now too! But don’t worry, you don’t need to read any of the previous books to enjoy this one. It read fine on it’s own, but that was a major attraction for me. Like I said, like coming home. Comfort food, if you will.
This is Amelia’s story and she is returning to Seattle to be closer to family but also because her attorney has said she needs to get away. Her ex hasn’t completed the final steps for their divorce that she thought she already had. She moved in to her cousin’s friends home and will be staying there until she figures out her life. Enter the next door neighbor, Wyatt. They see each other and have immediate chemistry. SO much so that Amelia does something she has never done before. With that, their romance starts. I have to say, the insta love/insta hook up was not exactly my thing. I suppose I’m not an instalove sort of reader I’ve noticed, but to each their own. I was already feeling comfort in the story because of returning to a series I’ve loved, that I kind of overlooked my thoughts on their relationship. Add in the banter between each character and their family had with one another and it became that much more enjoyable. Can we get some love for Wyatt’s brothers??
With all of that said, I enjoyed the narrators of the story. I think they felt like their characters Amelia and Wyatt. Much enthusiasm for the scenes. They did a good job of bringing me back to the series and characters I’ve loved. BUT, these 2 characters that have been through relationships acted very immature. I would’ve thought since they had both been in relationships before and have been divorced, they would’ve learned a bit and have grown. I suppose they did, but their reactions to many things were juvenile. I did like when they got together and communicated and took care of one another. That part felt real and genuine. And their fast relationship that progressed quicker than I thought was comfortable was a little turn off.
Overall, this story was a little like comfort food and I enjoyed being back in the world. The characters jobs were fun (wish we got more of Wyatt’s and his interaction with his client), and Amelia’s was very now working on YouTube and with makeup. Unique. The narration was done well and I felt like I got to be in the characters heads. But I also didn’t exactly like the way the characters acted and reacted to situations. Especially the way Wyatt handled something toward the end. Lots of mixed feelings for me concerning the story as a whole, but overall I would say this was a 3.5. If you’re a “With Me” fan, definitely read or give this one a listen. It feels good to “be home”, but try to ignore the way these characters acted. They seemed younger than their actual ages.
Stay with Me
With Me in Seattle, Book 9
By: Kristen Proby
Narrated by: Kitty Bang, Lee Samuels
Amelia Montgomery is a successful beauty blogger just trying to get her new makeup line launched and her divorce final. When things begin to get nasty, she is advised to leave town by her lawyer until her husband is served with papers. Where should she go? Home to Seattle. Family will keep her safe and sane. Staying in an apartment her cousin Jules has, she settles in. Across the way is Wyatt. Instant attraction leads to a budding relationship. Wyatt has been burnt by his ex-wife, so he is a little hesitant. So when a secret Lia has been holding comes out to light, things are over. Or are they? Hot chemistry, fun cousins, exciting dates all bring this fun romance to life. I love this series and every time I get a chance to visit I feel like coming home.
Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang bring the story alive with their narration. Both seasoned narrators, the characters all have their own personalities and voices, and there are quite a few characters with this large family! It’s a fun and happy listen!

4.5 Stars for Stay with Me (With Me in Seattle #9)
Audio Review
This series is one of my favourites and I have loved every book I have picked up so I was excited to have the opportunity to listen on audible to Stay with Me. The narrators are both new to me but that’s going to change because they did a wonderful job bringing Amelia (Lia) Montgomery and Wyatt Crawford’s story to life.
Both Lia and Wyatt have been burnt by love in the past but the attraction they feel is instant and it was love at first sight for this adorable couple. The past should have made them wary but Wyatt is determined to win his new neighbor over but will Lia let another man close to her heart…….
This book is filled with witty banter, passion, love and sweetness but it also has some heartfelt moments that will have you holding your breath, As with all of this series this book can be read as a stand-alone but if this is your first read or listen from this series you will meet characters from previous and future books and I’m sure will be left wanting more from the With me in Seattle Series.
Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang did a great job with the banter, the humour and the chemistry so I will certainly be looking at other books narrated by them.
4 star Review Stay With Me (With Me In Seattle 9) by Kristin Proby
AUDIO REVIEW:
This is Amelia Montgomery and Wyatt Crawford’s story as I was hooked on the story and the narration from the first to the last chapter. Narrated by Lee Samuels and new to me narrator Kitty Bang they brought enthusiasm and were easy to listen too.
I am not a great fan of insta-lust and as Amelia and Wyatt got together virtually from the first few chapters there was not as much of a build up as I have come to expect with this series.
I really liked Amelia and Wyatt, they were both strong characters and I loved how supportive Wyatt was of Amelia’s job. The chemistry between them is off the charts and intense. What will happen when the past catches up with them? Will they be able to overcome the baggage and pain of the past and move forward together?
I loved Wyatt’s brothers and the banter and camaraderie between them. It was great catching up with previous characters from the With Me In Seattle series and it makes me want to do a re read.
Not my type of book. Just sex and no emotional connections.
Great book with steamy scenes and a good plot line
Having left her past behind, the main character is attempting to live an uneventful and fulfilling life. When she needs help from her neighbor, they experience a spark of attraction.
She is keeping secrets and he is trying to be real. Can it work out in the end?
Thank you for an easy to read love story with some interesting turns.
I love her books!
I am beyond giddy to have more Montgomery’s in my life. We get all of our old friends that we love and now COUSINS!!!
Amelia wasn’t looking for anything more than to get away from her ex-husband when moving back home. Luckily her cousins had a place for her to hide out in until all the legal proceedings could be taken care of in LA. What she didn’t expect was the sexy architect who lived next door and suddenly took a liking to coming over to see her.
Wyatt Crawford has sworn off women and love. After catching his ex-wife with the pool guy, he has enough. He had his job and his family nearby. That was enough for him. Or so he thought until he met the gorgeous new neighbor, who seemed to have a lot of deliveries and people coming and going all the time.
Two people who thought they were done with love, find the perfection they were missing, in each other. But will their baggage from their past relationships end up sinking them before they even start?
When reading this book, I just felt like I was home. As a HUGE fan of the With Me in Seattle Series, I loved seeing what everyone was up to and meeting the other members of the family. I just hope and pray that there is more books in the future with Archer and Anastasia Montgomery or those sexy Crawford Brothers!
Love this series. The characters are wonderful, funny, and supportive. We can all learn a little something from this group. Keep them coming.
Great book to read.
I really liked both Amelia and Wyatt’s characters. Amelia’s huge extended family was great as were Wyatt’s brothers. Really enjoyable romance.
30% story …. 70% descriptions of them having sex.
I think this would have been a good book. I just couldn’t get over all the vulgarity in it. I made it through the second chapter and deleted from my divice. If it had been a paperback i probably would have burned it. Romance books don’t need all the yucky language in my opinion.
I LOVED this book!
I loved the book . Was very hot and and very romantic . I love Kristen proby
AMELIA, A MONTGOMERY COUSIN, FINDS LOVE ACROSS THE STREET
Amelia Montgomery and Wyatt Crawford are a couple who belong together…If they both just weren’t carrying so much baggage from their previous marriages…I think their love story personifies the old adage, “the course of true love never did run smooth.”
When Lia leaves California to “lay low” in her hometown of Seattle, for a little while, after her ex-husband contests her already (she believes) filed divorce, she moves into the house where Jules and Natalie lived at the beginning of this series….And, after he comes across the street to introduce himself, Amelia, basically, drags Wyatt from his bed, in his boxers, across the street to help her find the “chirping” in Natalies’s studio…..And it just gets better from there….
