First, let me start by saying this cover is freaking gorgeous. Second, I loved getting a glimpse of some of my favorite Montgomery clan!! Now, Amelia and Wyatt were on FIRE!!! I was so immersed in their story I was unable to put the book down that I read it within 6 hours! It was sexy, fun and off the charts HOT, HOT, HOT!! Wyatt is the sinfully sexy neighbor that tries to be neighborly but after the hell Amelia has been through with her ex she has sworn off men. That is until she NEEDS Wyatt’s help and then there’s no turning back because these two were burning up the pages. Come back to Seattle with more from this amazing series and family!
Yes yes yes
Woo hoo I m still excited that we are getting more of this series. But after reading this book I m even more excited and happy. I LUVD this book so much it was everything I hoped and more. This story was just so good. I luv that we are getting more of this crazy family, there all so good. Jules is still sassy as ever and Will is still so gorgeous and eating whole cupcakes. I’m just so happy right now.
Amelia is a brilliant character I liked her straight away. She hasn’t had it easy and had pretty much no choice to move back to Seattle. But it’s where all her family is and they mean the work to her. It wasn’t the best time to L.A. but she would make things work. She didn’t have some telling how to live her life anymore she was her own woman. Amelia just had to stay strong for a few more month and her life would again be her own. Well until she met her very sexy neighbour Wyatt.
Wyatt is just amazing. This guy is super sexy with his sleeve tattoos and strong body. He is just everything. Wyatt has been dealing with some really hard situation as well. Things haven’t been easy for him. But with the help from he older brother (who by the way are just had hot) he has sort of found his happy place in his life. He thought he did but when he sees a gorgeous blonde woman moving in next door he had to check her out. It had been a while since he has seen a woman this sexy and that he couldn’t get out of his head.
I luv this couple so much. There instant connection is so hot they can’t seem to keep there hands off each other. Wyatt is just what Amelia needs in a man. She needs someone who will support her career not pull it apart and make her feel like crap about herself. She deserve so much luv she is such a sweet strong woman and Wyatt making her feel so much better about herself. You can see the difference in her from the start of the book to end she is much more confident. Amelia is the same with Wyatt she has helped him in ways to. They both have trust issues and have been pushed to the limits. So thing aren’t alway great between them. But once they start to communicate things get so much better. I
I m a huge fan of this author. I ‘ve read every book and enjoyed them all. Has you can tell I m so glad with are getting more from this series. I can’t wait to see who she is goin to do next. I luv all the next characters that were in this book. They are all so different but fit so well into this series. I just know that these books are going but just has good as the others. Once I started this book I could put it down. I was addicted from the start. I would highly recommend this book. I luvd everything about it. The story and new and old characters were perfect. I luvd it.
When YouTube makeup guru Amelia Montgomery got divorced, she expected that she was in fact getting divorced. But when her should-be-ex husband decides to contest the divorce and generally attempts to make her life miserable, Amelia and her lawyer decide she needs to get away from LA for a while. So Amelia packs up bags and temporarily relocates to her hometown of Seattle. Her future may be on hold, but at least the home she’s staying in is absolutely gorgeous. As is her new neighbor, Wyatt Crawford… After being cheated on by his ex-wife, Wyatt has a hard time trusting women. Even so he’s pretty content with his life, at least until the mysterious and attractive Amelia storms her way into it.
While Amelia and Wyatt’s chemistry and then relationship all felt a little rushed and like instalove for me, I ultimately really liked them together and felt like the story benefited from them not doing the “will they, won’t they” dance around each other for a significant portion of the story. Both were mostly fun and lovable characters, each with their own baggage to overcome to be together.
I really loved Amelia’s career- it’s something that I haven’t encountered in other romance novels before and it made for an interesting story. Because she was an internet celebrity and a brand influencer, there was a lot of discussion about being in a relationship where the woman makes more money, which I felt was an intriguing topic to consider. I found Amelia charming and sassy and wonderful, especially when she just went after what she wanted.
After a while, I got fed up of all the other men in the story being so aggressively alpha males and wanting to grill/beat up/generally harass Wyatt just for being with Amelia. But Wyatt’s reactions to them and how he handled Amelia’s family actually made me like his character more, so I found myself more forgiving of the behavior. I thoroughly enjoyed Wyatt – he’s smart and kind and thoroughly charming – until I didn’t. For the most part, the small amount of drama and conflict was pretty predictable, but I actually took real issue with the way Wyatt behaved during their obligatory breakup. To a certain extent I could understand why he was upset. In his mind, Amelia lied to him and was technically cheating on her husband, something that Wyatt can’t handle. But I had serious issues with all the blame from everyone being put entirely on Amelia when really the problem was Wyatt’s inability to listen and his impulse to punish Amelia for the sins of ex wife. It just rubbed me the wrong way. And while he did ultimately redeem himself and they had a good ending, it still put a bit of a sour taste in my mouth for Wyatt.
I haven’t read all of the With Me in Seattle series and the ones I did read, I read an awful lot of years and books ago, so I was nervous about jumping back into the series. But Proby did a magical job of merging the old characters with the new ones. The beloved characters definitely make appearances, but I never felt like I was being bombarded with characters I was supposed to remember every detail about. The story, like it should, focused on Amelia and Wyatt and everyone else just made for good cameos and supporting characters.
Despite the book taking a bad turn for me in the last 20%, overall, I thoroughly enjoyed what was mostly a pretty easy and sweet love story.
I am so happy that Kristen Proby has decided to go back to Seattle. I fell in love with this series many love stories ago. Stay With Me is a great compliment to the Montgomery family.
Amelia comes home, escaping LA and an ex that just won’t go away. Money talks and he wants more. Natalie to the rescue again and Amelia has a place to hideout and breathe.
Wyatt lives across the street. Neither wants to have a relationship but a heart wants what a heart wants. Love isn’t easy. Love is complicated. When there is a lot of baggage, love can be a challenge that may not be worthwhile. Stay With Me is a roller coaster romance that was a joy to read.
An excellent read.
Just Ok, the other books in this series were better, kind of redundant.
Love this series! Thank you Marie Force for recommending it!
Kristen Proby seamlessly brought us back into her Seattle Series with Amelia (Lia) Montgomery, a Montgomery cousin, and Wyatt Crawford, an architect who lives in the house across from her.
A strong heroine who is standing up for herself and what she believes in, Lia is at first resistant to Wyatt’s interest. One night and an persistent battery (plus a little bug in her ear dropped by her cousin Will) change all that.
This book is sexy, sweet, heartbreaking, and redemption all wrapped up in one. In other words, it’s not to be missed.
Four years after the series “ended”, Kristen Proby’s writing dropped us back into Seattle as if we never left. We not only fell helplessly in love with this new addition to the Montgomery family tree, we got to visit old friends from stories past.
For those new to the Montgomery family, dive right in! This is a standalone and a wonderful place to start.
Kristen Proby is a sassy writing goddess!
Swoon! I’m trying to figure out how I can be adopted into a family like the Montgomery’s with hot protective alpha males and sassy independent strong women that like to shop. I love the depth of Kristen Proby’s characters and the playful banter that makes me want to read more! I can’t wait to read more snippets of my favorite character’s lives.
“Everything you do sets my body on fire.”
You know that story that you never knew you craved until it comes to fruition? Yeah, that’s what this story was to me. STAY WITH ME by Kristen Proby was sexy, sweet, romantic, and absolutely delicious! The With Me in Seattle Series is and ABSOLUTE MUST READ for every single romance reader out there! It’s one of those series chock-full of incredible characters that become a part of a literary family that you will cherish forever. And now we are adding Wyatt and Amelia to that family and I couldn’t have been more happy with the outcome! These two were BEAUTIFUL together. Their story melted my heart and lit up my soul. I laughed. I swooned. I teared up a bit, but I never, NOT ONCE, turned away from the pages before me. Absolutely unputdownable, Ms. Proby captivated me with her brand of storytelling that ALWAYS makes me weak in the knees. I loved it! I never knew how much I needed their story until I saw the book cover and read the blurb. Another MUST READ from an incredible GO TO author!
*sigh* *swoon* *happy twirl*
The Seattle gang is BACK & I am SO HAPPY! Amelia & Wyatt’s story has all the sass, sexiness, STEAM, and banter that I grew to absolutely love in this series. We get to catch up w/ the whole family, too, and it all flows so naturally, it’s like we never left.
The relationship between Amelia & Wyatt happens quickly & I adored both characters! I love the way they interact with each other. Even the SOB (seemingly obligatory breakup), which annoyed me because of the way it came about, didn’t drag out & didn’t make me lose focus (as they do, because I dislike them so!). The pacing was great & the ending was G R E A T!!!
I’m so looking forward to more – Wyatt & Amelia both have siblings that are going to need their own stories… : )
I’d missed the Montgomerys and Seattle. Lia and Wyatt’s HEA hit the spot!!! I loved the glimpses of the rest of the family. Lia is beautiful, inside and out, independant, smart, determined, and just fantastic. Wyatt is delicious; sexy, smart, protective but not smothering, and a wee bit stubborn but he can be taught. This showed up on my kindle last night and I had it half finished before bed and woke up early and had to finish. Thank you for brining us back to Seattle!
A new Kristen Proby book? Yes, please! She’s writes the most romantic family saga books. Stay with Me is an all-new sexy, friends-to-lovers novel in the With Me in Seattle world.
For those of you who LOVE the Montgomery clan and are dying for more…your prayers have been answered. As far as I am concerned, this series can go on forever (after all, one is titled Forever With Me……just sayin).
Amelia Montgomery (cousin to Jules and all her amazing brothers) decides to head back home to Seattle to escape the never ending drama of her Ex. What she’s not prepared for is the man across the street….Wyatt Crawford. Wyatt also has a drama filled past with a horrible ex. Neither has any desire to fall in love again, but sometimes fate has other things in mind.
This is a sweet, easy to fall into book exactly like the rest of the With Me series. We get to spend time in Nat’s original house and catch up with the whole gang. It really is just like going home again….for Amelia and for me.
One of the best days was finding out Kristen Proby was going to write more with me in Seattle series (the Montgomery’s) this one of the best series. Amelia is a cousin of the Montgomery’s that needs to move back to Seattle for a while and Jules helps her out in her time of need. Amelia is a strong woman that has baggage from an ex that she is trying to work through and needs to stay away from LA., she does not expect to meet the neighbor Wyatt. Wyatt also has baggage from his ex wife who cheated on him. These two end up getting to know each other and decide they enjoy spending time together. Can their baggage, or her extremely protective family keep them apart.
It was great to go back to Seattle and get to visit with all the characters from the with me in Seattle series. Kristen Proby did not disappoint, but it also a good read if you have not read the series you will not get lost. I highly recommend this fantastic read.
