A full-length, standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix! If you like romance with alpha men and strong women, you’ll love this series! Sometimes what we run from leads us exactly where we need to be.Jessa Hamilton has nowhere else to go. So she’s packed up her little blue truck and driven to Alaska, seeking refuge at Last Frontier Lodge where at … Last Frontier Lodge where at least she has family she can count on. A fender bender lands her in the path of Eli Brooks, a man of pure, well, manliness. Rugged and strong with a smile that sends sparks flying through her, Jessa has no idea what to do with the way Eli makes her feel.
Eli has plenty on his mind and none of it has anything to do with meeting a woman who makes him reconsider his commitment to avoiding romance. A painful past led Eli to seek peace in the land he loves—the wilderness of Alaska. Eli is a classic Alaskan—he breathes hunting and fishing. Jessa is unlike any woman he’s ever encountered—quirky, independent and…a vegetarian.
While Jessa tries to put the pieces of her life together, a surprise from the past forces
Eli to question just how much running from the past has gotten him. As they each grapple with their own ghosts, passion burns like wildfire between them.
*All novels in this series are full-length standalone novels with an HEA.

How is it so boring. The people are perfectly nice. The sex is okay, a little in need of a thesaurus, but not horrible. The plot doesn’t exist. It a genuine romance where feelings are allowed to grow over time. It reads like an Alaskan guide book. The over use of description is what killed it. But now I want to go to Alaska.
Not a lot of action – just so-so.
I love to read about Alaska.
Jessa’s apartment recently caught fire and she’s lost everything. She decides to pack what little she has left in her little blue truck and head up to Diamond Creek, Alaska, where her family owns a lodge. Right after she gets into town she hits Eli’s car. There is an instant attraction.
Jessa’s floundering on what to do with her life now but is offered an interesting opportunity. If she decides to stay in Diamond Creek, can she get her HEA with Eli too?
J.H. Croix’s Frontier Lodge series is about a family that owns a lodge up in Alaska. Each book is about a sibling finding their true love. Each book is a Happy Ever After, but after one book you want to read the next to find out what happens with the rest of them.
Another Hit
This another wonder book inn the seri. Jesse list her apartment, part of her inventory, and everything else when her apartment burnt down. Now is is with her two brothers and their families at the lodge. But first she backs into Eli’s truck and they meet again at the grocery store. It’s a hit.

I love reading books that are set in Alaska. This book made me feel like I was vacationing in AK again!
Great book and I would high recommend reading the entire series.
I love all of JH CROIX,s books about Alaska. They really make me want to be in Alaska.
Wording was very repetitive.
Jess is such a surprising character, I wish we could be friends. I think that’s the first time I’ve felt that way about a character. Like if we met, she’d be my best friend. It made me really root for her happy ending. Such a great book!!!
Had trouble reading this book. Too much about sex.
I really enjoyed this stand alone read. Set in Alaska you get a good idea of life in that great state. It is a steamy romantic read and I definitely recommend it. All Ms. Croix characters are strong, independent people. They are all very likable and you want good things for them. You finish the book feeling good. A good read.
I liked this book so much and all the characters, I bought the whole series!
I enjoyed reading this book
Love this author
Diamond Creek series is an entertaining steamy series. Much of the stories lines are the same, but the author still makes my engine steam-up.
Just a delightful book to curl up with and enjoy. Tried putting it down several times, but always came back to it quickly … even before doing my favorite crossword puzzle.
The plot moves along at just the right pace to make the story realistic, the characters have a chance to develop, and the story line builds to a nice, yet quite unusual, climax.
Enjoyable … put this one on your list to read.
I love all of the books and the characters in this series. Reading about Alaska is such a pleasure. One day I hope to be able to visit Alan
Ska. These books are a great substitute for being there.
