WyattWe were high school sweethearts until she left without a backward glance. Now Lucy Perry is back… more beautiful than ever. I wish I could stay angry with her but its nearly as impossible as resisting her. She wants a fling but I want forever.
I’ll take her on a trip down memory lane—the drive-in movie theater, picnics on the beach, even a boat ride to our favorite spot. She’s going to … favorite spot. She’s going to fall back in love with this town and with me. There’s no way she can walk away from me twice.
Lucy
I never thought I’d be back in my hometown, but here I am living with my parents. I keep telling myself it’s only temporary but the hardest part is facing everyone I left behind—including Wyatt Carter.
He might not have been the reason I left, but he‘s the reason I never came back.
Wyatt is no longer the easy-going predictable guy I fell for. An officer of the Department of Natural Resources, he’s an intriguing mix of cocky and bossy, which is almost as sexy as the way he fills out his uniform. I couldn’t resist him then, and I don’t want to now. I want to explore our chemistry but he wants a commitment—the one thing I’ve never been able to give him.
He thinks two blue lines change everything… but he’s wrong.

This was my first book by Lea Coll, and I really enjoyed it. Lucy’s childhood background story was a little confusing, but I think it was a lesson in life for her later on. She has a strong, ambitious, independent streak and isn’t letting anyone stop her. She made a huge sacrifice to find her own way into adulthood. I can understand why Wyatt is gun-shy, but he was so sweet too, trying to recreate his past with Lucy slightly guarded. It’s hard to want to let someone soar when your heart is breaking. It reminds me of that saying: if you love someone, set them free.
This is the first book by Lea Coll that I have read and I really enjoyed it! It’s a quick, fun, and sweet second chance romance. Lucy and Wyatt were meant to be together but just not their first go round. She couldn’t get out of her small town fast enough after graduation and he wanted to stay. She ends up back home after losing her job and her apartment. I liked watching Lucy’s view of her hometown transform the more she’s there and see what she missed out on moving away. Wyatt still harbor the hurt from when Lucy left but he can’t deny the feelings are still there. You will have all the feels watching them fall in love again
The story line pulls you in from the first page and holds you throughout the entire book. You’ll feel all the emotions as you read Wyatt and Lucy’s story. No spoilers here but you don’t want to miss this story.

Stay With Me is a second chance romance where high school sweethearts are once again in each others’ arms.
It’s hardly surprising that Lucy and Wyatt find it difficult to understand each other’s hopes and dreams for the future. They seem to want very different things… just like before!
The story of Lucy and Wyatt is sweet but serious. An unexpected pregnancy results in the couple dealing with issues surrounding careers, ambition, childcare, finances, independence and other pregnancy related health issues and all this whilst trying to come to terms with their feelings for each other.
Their path to HEA is probably the most realistic that I’ve ever read with both Lucy and Wyatt struggling with balancing their love for each other with their own dreams.
Stay With Me is a quick read tackling realistic issues but where love, eventually, conquers all!
Stay With Me is my first time reading Lea Coll’s writing and I was drawn to this title as it incorporates several themes and tropes I love to read. It’s a small town, second chance romance, the hero is the heroine’s brother’s best friend and it features a surprise baby.
Whilst I adored the hero Wyatt I struggled to connect with the heroine Lucy. Wyatt is a sexy, strong, sweet, loyal and hardworking man. A gentleman to the core, he’s willing to do anything for those he loves.
Lucy on the other hand for the most part was immature, selfish and negative. She’s was just a bit too neurotic and lost in her own head for my liking.
Whilst their connection and chemistry is undeniable I was frustrated by Lucy’s will I or won’t I attitude when it came to a relationship with Wyatt.
Overall a well written title, just not for me. It may have helped if I was familiar with the All I Want series, as there were quite a few couples introduced and I struggled to keep them all straight.
This was my first Lea Coll book and I am so excited to read more of her work. I loved Wyatt from the beginning but Lucy had to grow on me a little bit. It wasn’t that I didn’t like her, or understand her, I just wanted her to see the amazing man trying to win her heart. There are some great secondary characters and loved the way they were all so supportive of Wyatt and Lucy. Didn’t want to put this one down. Stay with Me is sweet and sexy!
I like a good second chance romance and this one fit the bill. Not gonna lie I wasn’t too happy with Lucy in the beginning. I had to warm up to her, but once I truly got to know her mindset back when it helped a lot for me to understand her better. I really liked Wyatt. I thought it was sweet how he went down memory lane with Lucy. Lucy has a lot of thinking to do because her life just got way more complicated. Lucy and Wyatt have to get to know the people are now as adults. I loved watching them reconnect. It made my heart happy. Though their future is looming and decisions need to be made.
A second and third chance to be all in
Stay With Me by Lea Coll is a well written romance full of self-reflection and inner dialogue. These two wonderful characters, Wyatt and Lucy, have a great deal of unfinished business between them. Their ending left a lot to be desired and a heaping pile of hurt.
While this book focuses a great deal on Lucy, her life in turmoil and complications galore, it was clear to me that Wyatt was near perfect. Lucy realizes this, but has to come to her own conclusions in her own way, unfortunately the hard and hurtful way.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book as the plot developed, Lucy has epiphanies, Wyatt comes to realizations and ultimately the two of them together work to get their HEA.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
This was one of the sweetest second-chance romances I’ve picked up in a long while. Wyatt was a breath of good-to-the-core fresh air, and while I wanted to shake Lucy a few times, she was very relatable. You can’t help but want the HEA for this pair!
The small town vibe and group of friends / family around this couple is fantastic and so comfortable.
Recommend this sweet & steamy read!
This book was so adorable! I loved Lucy and Wyatt’s story. It’s rare we see a relationship where the man is the one with strong feelings making sure they don’t go too far to protect him and I really loved the flip of normal traditions! Lucy was not my favorite character in the world, I really liked her throughout the story when she wasn’t worried about her job and her life, but man for most of the book it seemed like all she cared about was herself and her dreams and I feel like this could have been resolved in a quicker and better way! But overall, I loved the story and hope to see Wyatt and Lucy in later books!
This was a brand new author to me and I wasn’t sure what to expect. That being said, I really enjoyed reading this book. Lucy and Wyatt were high school sweethearts and broke up when Lucy left for college. Lucy’s need for financial indepence drove her and when she lost her job and apartment, she ended up coming back home to live with her parents. While she was planning her brother’s wedding, she and Wyatt are forced to be around each other. Things happen and she is faced with hard decisions. While some may feel that Lucy was selfish and immature, I felt she was honest and upfront about what she wanted. She was headstrong and rash at times but you couldn’t doubt her feelings. I really enjoyed reading their story.
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done
Oh gosh, Wyatt is everything and I was upset at Lucy for giving him up and still trying to resist him. But the hearts knows what it wants and Wyatt and Lucy are meant to be. The angst in this had me on edge because I kept pushing for Lucy to admit what she wanted the entire time. Their connection is undeniable and sweet and passionate. I couldn’t put this down.
Frustrating at times second chance romance.
I definitely enjoyed parts of this book, but Lucy could really grate on your nerves with her waffling. She is completely happy with Wyatt yet can’t get over herself to realize what she wants is right in front of her eyes. I understand her need for independence but she takes it a little too far.
Wyatt was strong, steady and true, but even he was infuriating when he couldn’t really listen to what Lucy was trying to tell him.
These two at odds will drive you crazy.
However, there were parts where the second chance romance was super sweet and reliving some of their HS romance spots was like a trip down memory lane.
Although I found this story frustrating – I did enjoy it overall and it is an easy, quick read.

Great second chance romance with Lucy and Wyatt. They dated at the end of high school but she leaves for the city and college but returns for her brothers wedding several years later and runs into the man that she can not forget Wyatt. He is not happy to see her back because he still loves her so when they are tasked with planning the bachelor and bachelorette party they have to work together which leads to rekindling their old romance. Can second time around work for them?
Wyatt and Lucy were high school sweethearts until Lucy left her small town and leaving Wyatt behind. Lucy is back in town and she iis lost and not sure which direction her life is headed. Wyatt is surprised and shocked to see Lucy again after all these years. So Wyatt decides to take her down memory lane and the chemistry between these two is undeniable and is off the charts hot. Will Lucy be able to give Wyatt a second chance? Will these two get there happily ever after?

I loved Wyatt. He is every thing you want in a supportive boyfriend. Lucy I couldn’t stand. The saying ‘to cut one’s nose to spite one’s face’ was written for Lucy. There were so many times I just wanted to smack her.
4 Stars
Lucy and Wyatt have a history, and when Lucy returns to her small town after having lost the job of her dreams in the city, things are forever changed. Wyatt is the kind of hero you love to read. He is a shard working man who has no problem taking charge and letting you know how he feels, but also respects his woman’s choice, even when he disagrees. I do wish he had stood up for himself a bit more though, but I can’t fault a guy for never getting over that first love. Lucy is a complicated woman. I can completely understand her desire to be self sufficient in life, but I found it frustrating that she felt being independent and making up her own mind was not compatible with being around those who loved and cared for you. Accepting help, love and support isn’t a weakness, and it took while for Lucy to figure that out. Eventually we get our HEA and it is worth it!

Wyatt totally loved Lucy heart and soul. But Lucy was so selfish and didn’t appreciate Wyatt and left him for bigger and better dreams. Now after 7 years she’s back home and Wyatt will risk it all for a second chance at a happy ever after with Lucy. Small town romance with a big dream that Lucy had. Now she’s gone full circle and is back home. Characters have good chemistry together and it’s an enjoyable second chance for both of them. This was my first read by Lea Coll but it will not be my last. I loved Wyatt and, after a while, Lucy too. I was not a fan of Lucy’s thought process in leaving Wyatt years ago but they were still certainly in love with each other, even years later. There were tons of emotions in their story and it was well written with great characters. Now I need to go back and read the previous books in the series.
