WyattWe were high school sweethearts until she left without a backward glance. Now Lucy Perry is back… more beautiful than ever. I wish I could stay angry with her but its nearly as impossible as resisting her. She wants a fling but I want forever.
I’ll take her on a trip down memory lane—the drive-in movie theater, picnics on the beach, even a boat ride to our favorite spot. She’s going to … favorite spot. She’s going to fall back in love with this town and with me. There’s no way she can walk away from me twice.
Lucy
I never thought I’d be back in my hometown, but here I am living with my parents. I keep telling myself it’s only temporary but the hardest part is facing everyone I left behind—including Wyatt Carter.
He might not have been the reason I left, but he‘s the reason I never came back.
Wyatt is no longer the easy-going predictable guy I fell for. An officer of the Department of Natural Resources, he’s an intriguing mix of cocky and bossy, which is almost as sexy as the way he fills out his uniform. I couldn’t resist him then, and I don’t want to now. I want to explore our chemistry but he wants a commitment—the one thing I’ve never been able to give him.
He thinks two blue lines change everything… but he’s wrong.

This book was AMAZING.
It was my first time reading Lea Coll’s work but I will definitely be reading more.
I was drawn in from page one.
Sweet, steamy, infuriating and sad are words that spring to mind upon reflection.
ALL THE FEELS.
I have been waiting for Wyatt and Lucy’s story to come out since reading Trust In Me. I have say it’s worth the wait. I love their crazy story of love, lost and finding ever after with each other. I love how there are both goal oriented, and stubborn alike too. Most of all I love how Lucy listens to everyone , but is determine to experience life. Above all I love Wyatt for his patience and understanding of Lucy inside out.
I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy.
Captivating from the first page. I couldn’t read this novel fast enough, and yet the beautiful writing compelled me to slow down and experience every line. This second chamce romance is filled with emotion and bold characters who are unapologetic in what they want. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, you won’t regret it!
A beautiful second chance romance.
This is not a simple love story. It is the tale of Lucy reconnecting with herself and with her goals, reconnecting with the past that she tried so hard to leave behind. This is a tale of all the what ifs and new opportunities. And I enjoyed every little part of it.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
A spectacular second chance romance. As things unfolded I wished so hard for a HEA for these two. Quite a few times I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration. This author did not make anything easy for this couple.
Lucy, dug her heels in and stood her ground. Wyatt, though pained by their past, was the voice of reason in all this. This couple lit up the pages when together. The steam was off the charts. They fought as just as hard as they loved.
My very first read by this author and I am not disappointed. I truly enjoyed reading Lucy and Wyatt’s journey. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author!
I loved Wyatt & Lucy’s story so much.
Lea’s books always seem to have that small town romance feel to them that I love.
Overall this was a wonderful fast paced read!
Wyatt and Lucy were high school sweethearts until she left town leaving him behind. Now Lucy is back in town, but she is lost and not sure which direction her life is headed. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. No spoilers: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story which is emotional, entertaining and a steamy read. I was totally hooked and intrigued throughout, and I highly recommend for all.
Wow! I am so in love! Wyatt and Lucy’s story is amazing! I knew I would love it, but I was not prepared for the book hangover from this book! This book literally has EVERYTHING! This one definitely is going in my re-read stock! AMAZING!!!
This is the first book that I have read from this author. I am glad that I took a chance on her. It was a great storyline from beginning to end. It was enjoyable, non-stopping touching moment, great characters. Lucy and Wyatt were together for a little while before she left for what she believed would be a better future. Wyatt was destroyed when she left. Lucy comes back to town for her brother’s wedding and for other reasons. Her and Wyatt have to work together on wedding stuff. But Wyatt wants more. One day at the lake ends up changing both of their lives. Will it be enough to keep Lucy in town and with Wyatt? This was a great storyline. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Lucy and Wyatt. I loved how these two work on things. Lea gained a fan and I cant wait to read more from her.
I received the ARC for this book for my honest review.
This second chance romance story is perfection. I devoured this book in just a couple of days, it is so good. Lucy and Wyatt are absolutely adorable. This story was filled with so many heartwarming moments and steamy scenes. I did find myself yelling at Lucy when she makes her decision.. you’ll have to read the book to know what I’m talking about.
Lucy has an image of how her life should be but it all turns around after being fired from her job. Returning home she never considered running into her ex, Wyatt. Now that they are in charge of planning Jack and Samantha’s bachelor and bachelorette party, they are spending more time together. Their connection to each other is so intense that it’s hard to stay away from one another. A surprise neither of them were expecting happens, bringing them closer than they planned. Decisions need to be made and plans for the future need to be discussed. And I love what they decided on doing.
The ending and the bonus epilogue left me feeling so happy and content. I think Lea Coll did an excellent job with Lucy and Wyatt’s story and I hope you give them a try.
They were in love in high school and she left him behind to attend college. Would she ever have a second chance at love with him? This is the story of Stay With Me.
Years later Lucy returns home having been fired from her big-city job; Wyatt still has love in his heart for her but she can’t seem to make up her mind whether she wants a family with him (and she does love him) or she wants to go back to the big-city to have an 80 hour workweek and find herself. That is the conflict in the book.
The writing is excellent; the characters are great even though Lucy annoyed me to the max; and, she did realize she loved being home. It is well-written ,but, I had to give it 4-stars because of the immaturity of supposedly educated Lucy when she still wants to live on her own and not with Wyatt while she raises their baby. Just couldn’t get past the wasted time of being a family in one home. Lucy has a big-time degree but no common sense!
She’s a tool! Selfish and stubborn. I can’t believe he put up with it. He deserved way better. I could feel the connection between them. So I just didn’t get it. The other books in the series were good. This one was not.
I couldn’t put this book down. I fell in love with Wyatt and Lucy.
Wyatt and Lucy dated in high school. She broke things off with him when she went off to college to get away from her small town. Now after getting fired and has no place she is back home. Wyatt tried to forget Lucy but can’t now that she is back he will do everything to make her fall in love with him again.
It is very hard to find your true love in high school but Lucy and Wyatt need. Now they just need to remember it all.
Everyone wants a second chance at some time in their life. Cuz guess what? We all screw up. One of my reasons for loving second chance romances.
This book was just ok with me. I was not a fan of the heroine, Lucy. She was wishy/washy and extremely immature. The hero was a great guy! Too great for Lucy, actually. Wyatt was so kind and patient. Too patient at times.
This book was ok, but not one I would scream from the rafters about.
This is the sweet, sexy, second chance, surprise pregnancy story of Wyatt and Lucy. When Lucy graduated from school she couldn’t get away from her home town fast enough and staying away was something she had to do to get over Wyatt, her high school sweetheart. Lucy is coming home for her brother’s engagement party, but it may turn into an extended stay as she has lost her job and her home. Once Wyatt sees Lucy, he realizes he has never forgotten what he and Lucy had and when he realizes that she feels the same, he sets about getting her back. Lucy sees her trip back home as temporary until she can find another position as a graphic designer in the city so when she gets pregnant with Wyatt’s baby, the thought that she might leave him again weighs heavily on his mind. With trust issues and miscommunication, Lucy and Wyatt can’t seem to be on the same page at the same time. Wyatt was a wonderful character, but Lucy was weak, selfish and really not someone I could get behind. Overall though, a very enjoyable book.
This was such a sweet story. Lucy and Wyatt are meant to be together it just takes them awhile to figure out. I completely related to Lucy’s desire to have her own career and be able to support her child. Wyatt’s side was also very relatable. Lea’s writing style is very easy to read. She seemlessly goes from one POV to another. All the characters, big or small, are fleshed out and we’ll realized. The sex scenes are compelling and sexy. Wyatt is the perfect mix of sweet and understanding and assured and sexy. This was a joy to read I’d recommend it to anyone.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is fun read I thoroughly enjoyed reading each page as I went along. The cheats amazing and the storyline kept entertained.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lea Coll is a new to me author, and I was thrilled to be given a copy of ‘Stay With Me’ in exchange for an honest review.
I love second chance romances, and this book is no different. When Lucy Perry returns home, it’s in the worst state she could have imagined. She is homeless, jobless and her idea of breaking away to the city and making it as a successful Graphic Director, has completely not gone to plan.
So when she turns up at her brothers engagement party, she is prepared for questions, and hopes to be able to live with her parents whilst she figures out a permanent solution. The only problem is Wyatt, the man she left behind and her brothers best friend.
Wyatt has tried all ways to forget Lucy, but she is the one that got away, and the one he can’t help but compare all others to. She’s his best friends little sister, and a woman he’d once vowed to take care of. So when she shows up unannounced without showing much of a reaction, he can’t help but feel the resurgence of irritation and longing.
Their relationship is sweet, and whilst Lucy is trying to find a way back to the city, Wyatt is very much trying to convince her to stay, but will it all to as he plans?
This is a sweet with heat romance which shows two people who have matured but are unable to rid themselves of the old spark that lingers between them. Lucy can be quite selfish, always seeing her dreams as the priority, but with an unexpected surprise she sharp has to learn that she can’t always have her way.
Well written, easy to read, and I can’t wait to explore more of this authors work.
“Was that the issue? She made things worse, not better, for me. It was always about what she wanted. What her dreams were. How her home was unbearable. How she had to get away from here. How she only felt safe with me. But in the end that wasn’t enough. I wasn’t enough.”
Lucy is back in her hometown for her brother’s engagement party. But her stay could be extended, since she lost her job and cannot afford to pay the rent. Being back after so many years is not easy, especially because she left and never looked back. Her dreams and goals have always been too high for the small town. And besides all of this being messing with her, meeting the ex who she left behind will be the greatest torture of all.
Wyatt was never able to forget Lucy or understand why she left and erased him out of her life. Seeing her again reopened old wounds, as well as bringing out the love he still has for her.
Two very different people. She wants the busy city life, the famous job, long hours at the office. He wants tranquility, a good job and the quietness of the small town. Lucy and Wyatt are opposites that attract. And the two positive lines in the pregnancy test will further disrupt this already precarious relationship.
What to do now? Abandon her dreams? Stay in the city she never fit in? Give the guy who she never forgot a chance? Lucy has a tough decision ahead of her.
I loved Wyatt. He is upright, hardworking, centered, understandable and very passionate. Lucy aroused mixed feelings. I admire her perseverance and her dreams, but she is selfish for most of the plot. The feelings of others are always in the background for her, only her will matters.
Focusing on the romance between them and Wyatt’s plan to remember the past, the book has a bit of drama, but nothing that weighs the plot.
A novel about second chances, about finding out what really matters and learning that sometimes what you thought you wanted may not be right for you.
Stay with Me is a wonderful second chance romance. Its wonderful written. It has a great storyline. The characters Lucy and Wyatt are delightful, amazing and sweet. I truly enjoyed reading about them. Its a page turner.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
