Above a kingdom of kink rules an alpha who’s fought for his family since the beginning.Sterling Holt, owner of kink club The Shepherd, has given all he has to keep his family together. But after years of hard work raising his much-younger sister, his nest is empty—and so is his heart.Beneath the weight of his own guilt aches an omega who can’t see salvation.Proud, cocky, and outspoken, on the … salvation.
Proud, cocky, and outspoken, on the surface it looks like Adrian Lowe has it all—but beneath his prickly facade lurks something darker. Something painful. Something he can only escape during weekends at The Shepherd.
He will never forgive himself for what he’s lost.
But the lost can be found again.
When one night of scorchingly intense passion binds two lonely souls together, Adrian and Sterling will either have to sever ties and give in to their loneliness, or admit that what they’ve found in each other is worth staying for.
Stay is a 78,000 word BDSM-flavored novel set following the events of Obey and Beg. With this much snark, power play, and pain/pleasure, it can be read as a standalone, but it’s best read as a sequel.

This book has an emotional punch. It is so much the angst between the main characters but the things they have gone through in the past or what they are currently facing. I love how Stirling can see there is more to Adrain even before he know what the more is or where it comes from. There is so much support there to help Adrian be the best him. You also see how much he is able to grow as well.
I listened to the audio version and really enjoyed it.
This book is so well-written, with lots of unexpected turns, great insights into the human psyche, deep emotions, and plenty of good drama. Adrian, a troubled omega Dom for the previous book in the series, steps way over the line and attracts the attention of The Shepherd club owner, Sterling. What starts as a lark begins to feel like something more. Can these two carve a future out of so many obstacles? An unusual BDSM relationship, lots of passion, and deepening love make this a truly enjoyable book.
The third book in the His Command series, and so far, the best. Adrian Lowe first appeared briefly in book one, Obey, and then featured prominently in book 2, Beg, as the antagonist. Adrian is an omega who’s raging at the world. All his life he’s had to fight to protect himself and his brother against the verbal abuse his parents have spewed. When Gabriel, Adrian’s little brother, runs away from home, Adrian’s world collapses. Adrian hates himself, and that hate manifests itself as anger and sharpness at anyone who might get close to him. His only haven is The Shephard, a member’s only BDSM club. Sterling Holt is the owner of The Shephard, he’s a dominant alpha who longs for family. When Sterling catches Adrian in the act of breaking a club rule, both of their lives are changed.
This was my favorite book out of the His Command series so far. The characters were complex with many layers – they grew and changed throughout the book. The romance was exquisite and paired with some of the best kinky sex I’ve ever read. This was a great five star read for me.
Stay by Piper Scottis the third book in the His Command series. This book tells the story of Adrian and Sterling and does a fantastic job of making a previously hated side character in other books into a likeable and relateable main character here. Delving into what makes Adrian the way he is and seeing the evolution of his relationship with Sterling and the love he has for his brother, I fell in love with this book and thought it was even better than the first two books.
There are some intense topics in here, like abduction, family abuse/substance abuse, manipulation, power struggles, bdsm… I love that although its omegaverse with an mpreg, the story holds so much more than just a pregnancy storyline. The story has angst, drama, kink, snark, and romance. Like the rest of the series, this is a book I will revisit again.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
