From New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes the final poignant standalone love story in the Arrowood Brothers Series. Hollywood taught me everything I know about relationships—except how to be in one. As an actor, I became an expert at faking it. Faking that I wasn’t affected by my childhood. Faking that I was okay. Faking that I knew how to save the day, the girl, the whole … the whole damn world.
But I’ve always known the truth—I’m no one’s hero.
Until I’m forced to move back to Sugarloaf for six months, and Brenna Allen offers me a chance to prove otherwise. She’s everything I never knew I wanted, but can’t have. Her broken heart, perfect face, and adorable children turn my world upside down. Instead of preparing for my next leading role, I’m directing a middle school play for this small-town single mother.
All to make her smile.
The more time I spend here, the more I want to stay. Build a life in this town that I swore I’d leave—for her.
But when the world comes crashing down around us, I’m forced to decide if staying for her is the right choice or if leaving is better for the woman I love.

I have not been so excited and sad about a new book as I was for Stay for Me – happy we finally get Jacob’s story sad that this series is coming to an end.
Jacob is the last of the Arrowood brothers needing to stay in their childhood home to finally fulfill the obligation they have to their family. Brenna and her children touch Jacob in a way that he wasn’t expecting and now them working together for the town’s middle school play he finds himself may be wanting to build a new life with new memories in the town that he left behind. Brenna wasn’t looking for anything either – trying to mend her broken heart and take care of her kids she is just trying to survive and then Jacob walked into her life and changed it.
Stay for Me is a wonderful conclusion to a fantastic series – so worth the time.
OMG what a way to finish the series!! Jacob Arrowood is my new favorite book boyfriend! My heart is blown, the book hang over is so real. Jacob and Brenna are perfection!! Their chemistry is undeniable, seriously summing from their meet cute to a full on blow the lid off the pot. They have this quiet calmness to them that I love! While they both have every reason to not fall in love, you can’t challenge fate. Together they wrecked me, and then healed my shattered heart with their sweet devotion and brilliant epilogue that makes me swoon!! Saving the best Arrowood brother for last, I’m so taken by all four of the brothers, but Jacob will forever be known as mine!
My emotions were all over the place reading Stay For Me. One minute I’m cheering, the next I’m nearly weeping. Corinne Michaels knows how to smash your heart, the sew it all back together with her amazing writing. I loved this book most of the series. I can’t wait to devour the next series!!
I haven’t read the others in this series, but usually brothers type of stories are standalones within the series. And this one was that way, even with the appearances of all the rest of the family, which only made me interested to go back and read their individual stories if I have time.
This was a sweet story, both Brenna and Jacob had their own demons to deal with, but both were ready and willing to work on those things. They fought as long as they could, and when they did decide to give it a go, they did it knowing that it had a shelf-life since Jacob would be going back to Hollywood. But Jacob was such a wonderful man, doing things for his hometown, for the boy he met that looked up to him, Brenna’s son Sebastian. And of course I loved the family so much, I feel like my family is like that, we’d take in anyone and welcome them with open arms and they’d always be considered a part of the family even if something changed between them and the person they’d been seeing or whatever.
As I got to the final quarter of the story I began wondering how there would be any more issues to deal with, or what the author would throw into our couple’s way. It started out in the way I thought it would, but what ended up being their biggest obstacle surprised me a bit, or I didn’t see it coming at first. In the end of course, true love wins out in the only way that it can.
I can’t shout loud enough just how much I loved Stay for Me! I wish I could give it 10 stars, because it was THAT good! Stay for Me is the very essence of the slogan “save the best for last.” Stay for Me is the final book in the Arrowood Brothers series by Corinne Michaels, and I cannot tell you all how much I am going to miss reading about this wonderful group of brothers who found their way back to themselves and the women they love by returning to their roots.
“Heroes don’t wear capes or save the world, they do the right thing. Heroes don’t get to
define their moments, the people they save do.”
–This line right here is what has me screaming from the mountain top that I love Jacob Arrowood!! Jacob Arrowood is the embodiment of this statement said to him by Brenna Allen.
Stay for Me is Jacob Arrowood’s story. Jacob is the third Arrowood brother who also happens to be a big star in Hollywood. OMG Jacob really touched my heart! Jacob like Declan really doesn’t believe he deserves to be loved, especially after all of the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, but yet, Jacob is the most loving of the brothers…and did I mention, he is the most gorgeous of a set of absolutely gorgeous brothers? Jacob, like his brothers before him, has returned to Sugarloaf to do his time with the belief that once his 6 months are up he will move back to his closed off life in Hollywood. However, Jacob was not prepared for Brenna Allen to knock on his family home’s door by accident looking for his sister-in-law Ellie. Brenna is the beautiful new girl in town who is trying to put her life back together after the death of her husband while trying to raise two kids on her own. Jacob and Brenna were absolutely perfect together, because neither one expected the other, but yet, they were completely meant for each other. I completely enjoyed watching them fall in love with each other while trying to deny that it wasn’t really love.
So, if you are looking for a book with an extremely sexy set of brothers, beautiful women who you will want to be a part of your tribe, wonderful secondary characters, witty dialogue, children who will melt your heart, and characters finding ways to heal themselves through forgiveness and love, then not only is Stay for Me your book, but the Arrowood series is exactly what you are looking for. Bravo, Corinne Michaels on not just this book, but the entire series!! I cannot wait for what you have up your sleeves next for your readers.

My Review:
The final swoony Arrowood brother has found his soul mate and did so quickly but the process still required some serious wooing and to and froing, and a bit of peril and lots of steamy treats and sassy humor. Written in my favorite dual POV, the couple featured was endearing and admirable, yet challenging and somewhat ragged around the edges from past traumas and spiky current events. I have enjoyed this series, which has been my introduction to Corinne Michaels’s irreverently humorous, engaging, and sexy small-town storytelling. Her characters have been well-textured, complex, and somewhat batter and jaded by misfortune yet deserving of a better life ahead. I fell for each in turn and am curious to see what and whom she conjures next.
JACOB IS MY EVERYTHING!!!!
I loved this book so much, this whole series was amazing. Jacob finally got his turn and wow, he was everything I expected, if not more. Jacob is taking his turn in the farm, but has no plans to stay there like his other brothers. What he wasn’t expecting was to meet Brenna and her children to come into his life.
This book was so much more than a love story, this was about family, second chances, and forgiveness. I can’t describe how much I loved Brenna, she was the best, she was so strong. The chemistry between her and Jacob was perfection, the way her kids fell for Jacob was everything. This series is truly EPIC!!
AMAZING ending to an amazing series! I love this whole series but she saved the best for last. This is an emotional rollercoaster storyline that you will absolutely fall in love with.
I loved Jacob and Brenna’s story!! Jacob became my favorite. They had such chemistry. I loved how Jacob developed a relationship with the kids. I hate to see this series end!!
Stay For Me is the fourth and final title in the Arrowood Brothers series featuring Jacob Arrowood. This title is bittersweet, and will have you going through a gamut of emotions, from laughter to tears.
Jacob is a Hollywood movie star, but when he’s in Sugarloaf he’s just one of the Arrowood brothers, and despite the bond he shares with his brothers and their families, he can’t wait to escape back to his life. Under the sexy, confident exterior is a big hearted, yet vulnerable hero.
After the death of her husband, Brenna and her two children Sebastian and Melanie move to Sugarloaf to be closer to her children’s grandparents. Despite all that she has endured she’s incredibly strong, resilient, compassionate and caring.
Despite the fact that neither of them is looking for a relationship, the connection between this pair is undeniable, and their chemistry is intense.
Stay for Me is an engaging and entertaining title and I loved seeing more of Connor, Ellie, Declan, Sydney, Sean and Devney, and the bond that Jacob shares with Brenna’s son Sebastian is heart-warming.
Just when I though I had this story figured out the twists kept coming. I will be eagerly awaiting Corinnne’s next release
Stay for Me is the last story in the Arrowood Brothers series. It is also, Jacob Arrowood’s story. Jacob is a well know actor who has come back to his hometown of Sugarloaf. While there, he meets a recently widowed mother of two named Brenna. The two become friends who are attracted to one another, but each of them have different reasons for not pursuing a relationship. I loved both characters immensely. Jacob may be the sweetest of all the brothers. And Brenna was an amazing, tough woman and mother. I loved the way Jacob interacted with Brenna’s children. It was so sweet. I also enjoyed getting to see all the brothers and their wives. Great ending to a wonderful series.
I hadn’t read a book in what felt like forever and I had no desire in reading either, and that’s not normal for me. I was well on my way to an epic book slump, but once one of my anticipated reads landed on my kindle all that changed.
From the very first book in The Arrowood Brothers Series I knew I was in for something special. With every book I fell and fell deeper for these amazing brothers, their significant others, and their adorable children. So I knew the final book in the series would leave me even more emotional than before; not only because it’d be the end, but also because I’d have to say goodbye to these extraordinary characters. And I must say that Corinne did what she does best in writing a beautifully heart aching story filled with so much emotion and wrote Brenna and Jacob’s story phenomenally.
I loved Brenna so much. She’s a smart, caring, kind, and loving woman. She’s been through the unthinkable and still manages to put on a brave face and be the best mom she can despite the hurt she’s feeling as well. I loved how brave she was and the immense strength she had.
Jacob Arrowood stole every piece of my heart. He was such a kindhearted, caring, and amazing man. And I fell so hard for this charming, loyal, and sweet guy. He had me swooning and smiling nonstop and I just adored him.
Brenna and Jacob were magic. The chemistry between these two was electric. They had an undeniable connection but they took their time in giving each other a chance. I loved how they both learned from the other and really developed the strong connection between them that was there from the beginning. I just loved and adored these two and I must say that Brenna’s children were just the absolute best.
Stay for Me brought all the feels. Brenna and Jacob’s story was the icing on the cake and an incredible conclusion to The Arrowood Brothers Series. I loved this book and loved catching up with the rest of this wonderful family. Even though it’s bittersweet saying goodbye to the Arrowood brothers and leave the small town of Sugarloaf, I’m content in knowing that these unforgettable characters will stay with me forever.
4.5 Stars
Corinne Michaels and her series books ALWAYS make me smile. You become attached to all the characters. They feel like they are your friends and you can’t help but root for their happily ever afters.
Jacob Arrowood is the last of 4 brothers to find his match. He’s an actor and isn’t too happy that it’s his turn to spend 6 months on his family farm. Brenna Allen is a widowed mom of two and is just trying to get back on her feet by returning to Sugarloaf to be closer to family and bring some peace to her kids. Their courtship is sweet and filled with lots of sexual tension. Jacob’s brothers and their wives are front and center and only make the story even sweeter because they are part of it. Brenna’s kids, Sebastian and Melanie, are great kids who Jacob falls in love with as well.
This is a wonderful second chance romance. This author tells Jacob and Brenna’s story with love, angst and where this is a will there is a way to be together.
Lights, camera, action! The last Arrowood brother is taking the stage.
Jacob and Brenna are a winning combo. Watching their relationship grow throughout this this story was was Oscar worthy. The struggles Jacob, as well as his brothers, faced while returning home fuel this story and added to the romantic angst. Throwing a kid in the mix always makes it interesting. I truly enjoy the way Corinne writes little ones they always add to the adventure.
This series is an A+ and a must for lovers of romance. Each brother brings their own touch of spice to the stories as a whole and the women are strong, bold, and balance each brother out. I will miss the Arrowood world but I will visit often.
This was the perfect way to end the Arrowood Brothers series. I loved every minute of this book. I also loved having all the other characters from this series make appearances. I took my time reading this one because I know I would be sad that this series is ending. Corinne does such an amazing job pulling her readers into the emotions of her characters. I truly feel like I know these characters. Brenna and Jacob are perfect for each other right from the very beginning, even if they are unable to see that for themselves. This book is amazing and I know that I will be recommending it to all of my friends and acquaintances.
I love the Arrowood Brothers Series and Jacob and Brenna’s story was the best one yet. I could have never been prepared for the on slaught of emotions and feelings this one would draw out of me. Corinne has an incredible talent for writing big, beautiful, heartbreaking stories and she delivered that in spades. Jacob Arrowood is the last of the four brothers to return to Sugarloaf and complete his six months on their family’s ranch. He has escaped to a life in Hollywood to avoid being in a town that drudges up a lot of painful memories for him so to say he is dreading this time is a big understatement. That is until he meets beautiful Brenna and wow the connection those two have from first meeting was powerful. He sees the pain her eyes and is immediately drawn to her. Brenna is recently widowed. She is incredibly strong. She is fighting through each day and dealing with the pain of loosing her husband and now a single parent to her two children, Sebastian and Melanie. I loved these kids! They are young but so wise and mature for their age. The support they offer their mother truly touched my heart and the way Sebastian idolized Jacob, I loved. The chemistry between Jacob and Brenna was intense at times but also electric and so, so good. I was addicted to their every interaction and couldn’t get enough. Stay for Me was such a bittersweet end to a favourite series! I am sad to say goodbye but know these characters will stay in my heart for a long time to come.

Yay we are finally getting Jacob’s story. He has been there in the distance throughout the series and I just knew it would be a good one. Again like the other brothers, he was not looking for love or forever but he got so much more.
Jacob is for the most part loving his world of acting and all that comes with it in Hollywood. When forced to do his time at home on the family farm he comes begrudgingly. Then to be told by all his newlywed brothers that he has to live in the damn box on wheels, he is even less happy. The one bright star in all of this is the time he gets to spend with his nieces and nephews. When the beautiful redhead shows he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame, and suddenly wants to do anything he can to help her.
Brenna is desperately trying to start over in this new small town, far removed from the military life they know before loosing her husband Luke. Trying so hard to be strong for her children, showing them that they can get past this and still have a wonderful life, the three of them. Unlike a military town where all the other kids have the understanding, it is harder in a small town where people just stay, generation after generation.
When Jacob agrees to spend a little time with a boy who lost his father, he never expect to fall so hard. He quickly finds himself looking for reasons to spend time with the family. His family is not blind an the women of the Arrowwoods do all they can to help things along. Will Brenna and her kids be enough to bring Jacob home for good?
Sad to see the end of the Arrowwood series but loved every word. Excited to see where Ms Michaels will take us next on our adventures.

I am fairly new to Corrinne Michael’s books but in such a short amount of time, I have deeply, completely fallen in love with The Arrowood Brothers…And she did save the Best Brother for the last…
Arrowood Brothers all have such a dramatic, emotionally gut-wrenching, painful yet salvable story…Ans when do get their HEA…we are just left from gasping for breath and with our ovaries exploded with all the love they have…
Jacob is the major star of the Hollywood back for the summer in Sugarloaf, his hometown. When he can’t wait to get back to the city, he encountered Brenna Allen, a newly widowed, and her kids and his plans for leaving take a back seat. But leaving for inevitable and when love plays a role, will he stay back for her or will he keep chasing his dreams?
Wow….just wow…I am awestruck and so full of feelings. This is just a type of story which makes you believe in love and gives you a warm feeling.
Second chances and once in a lifetime opportunity of love is just so hard to find but this book proved that it’s not impossible.
That Red Carpet scene was my favorite…It’s just so much to Arrowood Brother than what’s at the surface and when they love, they love with everything they got. The relationship formed between him and her children is just adorable.
Listen, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
Corinne Michaels has a way of breaking your heart and putting it back together in the best possible way.
I laughed, I cried, and I fell so hard for Jacob. I hurt with Brenna and admired her strength & resilience. I loved every moment of the family they became and I couldn’t be happier with the ending to what has become an extremely beloved series. The Arrowood boys are pretty unforgettable and will be staying with me for a very long time.
“What’s one truth about an arrow?” —- I absolutely loved how each brother had their own truth passed down from their mother and how it directly guided and spoke to who they became years later.
I loved Jacob and Brenna! These characters are so relatable and the side characters were just as great. Loved the conversations with her best friend and catching up with the Arrowoods from the previous books. Jacob is a Hollywood Star returning to his small hometown to complete his “sentence” of his father’s will. Brenna has recently relocated with her two children and neither one has love or starting a relationship on their mind. From their first encounter, there are sparks and an undeniable attraction but they both fight it knowing it will only lead to heartache. I felt the emotions right along with every character, I laughed, cried, and was so happy with the ending. Jacob is one of my favorite Corinne characters – he was just so very sweet, giving, tender-hearted, and I loved how he called Brenna beautiful. I need to find me some Arrowood family and a sweet town like Sugarloaf.
“Will you dance with me?” …….. “every woman should get to dance in the rain at least once in her life.”
“My goal is to make you love me so much that you can’t imagine a world without me”
Corinne saved the best for the last. I am really conflicted which Arrowood brother was the best. The story was captivating and engaging. It’s a perfect second chance romance and no one can write romance like Corinne. Jacob and Brenna were perfect for each other and the chemistry between these two was pure perfection. The story was absolutely phenomenal it was a perfect balance of sweet , fun and emotional. Jacob was swoon worthy . I loved the beautiful relationship between Jacob and Sebastian. It’s bittersweet to see this series end . I can’t wait to read what we will next from Corrine. One of my absolute favorite series .
