From New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes the final poignant standalone love story in the Arrowood Brothers Series. Hollywood taught me everything I know about relationships—except how to be in one. As an actor, I became an expert at faking it. Faking that I wasn’t affected by my childhood. Faking that I was okay. Faking that I knew how to save the day, the girl, the whole … the whole damn world.
But I’ve always known the truth—I’m no one’s hero.
Until I’m forced to move back to Sugarloaf for six months, and Brenna Allen offers me a chance to prove otherwise. She’s everything I never knew I wanted, but can’t have. Her broken heart, perfect face, and adorable children turn my world upside down. Instead of preparing for my next leading role, I’m directing a middle school play for this small-town single mother.
All to make her smile.
The more time I spend here, the more I want to stay. Build a life in this town that I swore I’d leave—for her.
But when the world comes crashing down around us, I’m forced to decide if staying for her is the right choice or if leaving is better for the woman I love.

Omg, I’m really struggling to find something to say that hasn’t already been said about this amazing read. Stay for Me (Arrowood Brothers #4) blew me away, it took my breath away and it was the perfect book to end this wonderful series on.
I was captivated from the first line and there was no putting down until I had read the final word, this emotional roller coaster took over my life and I’m sure my mere words can’t do it justice. You know you have a very special book when it stays with you long after the final words has been read and Jacob and Brenna’s story is one of those very special reads.
Jacob like his brothers before him has no intention of returning home let alone staying there but his manipulating father had other plans so to inherit he has to spend 6 months in the town he resents.
Could Brenna change his mind and have him making a new life far from the lights of Hollywood……
This series is one of my all time favourites and it will be read over and over and for me Ms Michaels left the best for last. This book touched me on so many levels, it’s emotional, it’s romantic and it’s about never giving up and always fighting for what you believe in. I smiled, I laughed, I swooned and I cried but the rocky journey this couple had to take was worth every tear I shed because this was a journey I was happy to join and you will be too. What else can I say that hasn’t already been said apart from this book is the final book to be added to my top 30 reads of 2020. Loved everything about this wonderful love story.
I dont know whats in the water in Sugarload, but these Arrowwood boys are something else! I love meeting the last brother, the one who feels hes not ment to love or be happy. Jacob has a heart of gold. Brenna is a women dealt a krss that amazing hand, finds her second chance with a man who feels unworthy. I love the push and pull these to have on each other. In true Corrine fashion, there are parts that tiyr mouth drops open that she would do this to her readers. In the end Corrine rights herself and these amazing characters. Love seeing the whole family again.
5 star Review Stay For Me (Arrowood Brothers #4) by Corinne Michaels
This is the final book in the Arrowood Brothers series and Stay For Me was an epic way to conclude the series. I have fallen hard for each and every brother but there is something special about Jacob, I I fell hard and fast for this totally swoon worthy man.
From the first word until the last I was totally invested in the story that Corinne Michaels wove. She drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat as I read this emotional roller coaster of a read.
Jacob, like his brothers, had no intention of ever returning home, however, his manipulating father on his death, left him no choice. Each book in this series has gotten better and better and this one is no exception.
The characters were easy to relate to and I loved the journey that Jacob and Brenna found themselves on. The road is rocky, full of twists and turns and your heart will be shattered, but Ms. Michaels will put it back together again. This book is emotional, gripping, a story of love, romance and never giving up. This was a fitting end to what has become one of my favourite series.
I love this series so much! I can’t believe we are actually out of Arrowood brothers now. It’s a bittersweet feeling for sure. This is another beautiful and heartwarming love story that had me fully invested and totally entertained throughout. Brenna & Jacob are absolutely perfect for each other and just amazing together. She has two kids, Sebastian and Melanie -she is widow and still having a hard time adjusting to her new normal with the loss of her husband, as are the children. Jacob is an actor-action hero and her son idolizes him. He never wanted to be back in his hometown because there was never anything/anyone who made him want to stay. He truly loves his brothers and loves being around them and their families, but it’s complicated. Now that Brenna has moved there with her children, she never wants to leave. Will Brenna be the reason Jacob finally wants to stay? How can anything work for them long term with his acting career?
Well, where there is love and a will, there’s definitely a way! I loved every minute of this story and this whole series! Amazing characters and stories to make you believe in love.
I don’t know how Corinne does with all of her books, but I can’t stop crying and laughing at the same time. Jacob was an idiot that needed a good kick in his head, on the other hand Breanna was subtle and innocent that deserved all the happiness in the world. I was sad that the Arrowood Brothers have ended, also at the same time like other readers I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can’t pick my favorite brother.
I can’t wait to read more from Corinne Michaels and most definitely recommend this book and series. Thank you for another amazing series. Most definitely worth more than 5************
Holy this book was AMAZING! It was about healing, loving and letting go of the past. It showed that love can come, even when you don’t look for it. What a powerful message this book had. I will reread it again very soon, that is how much I enjoyed it. I loved each character and did not want it to end. Jacob and Brenna are the cutest couple ever! 5 plus star read
What an amazing love story. Absolutely beautiful story. Brenna loved Luke but theirs was a young love. His career as a Navy pilot came first to Luke. Even before his wife and children. Brenna was always left to “carry the load.” She had to be understanding and very rarely did she complain. She never let Luke know exactly how she felt and how she felt like second best in his eyes. He put his career before everything. Now when she meets Jacob things are so different. He makes her lose herself. “He made her forget that people don’t always respond the right way and it’s the errors that teach us the lessons.” She opens up to him about what she is feeling and how she feels about being second best to his occupation. But Jacob never makes her feel that she is anything but first to him. Her children also come first. He decides to direct Sebastian’s school play because of what he feels for him. When they decide to become involved they know that it has an expiration date. Jacob never had any intentions of staying in Sugarloaf after his time was up and he made that known to Brenna. He feels in his heart that he doesn’t want to hurt her because of the life he leads in California. He doesn’t want her or her children to be subjected to the media and have their family brought into the public eye.
Brenna starts to fall for Jacob because he is so much more than Luke. Not that she is comparing the two, but she sees how he puts them first and the struggles he goes through when he can’t be there for her or her children. Jacob, against his better judgment starts to develop feelings for Brenna that he has never felt before with any other woman. He never thought he would find anyone with what he was looking for. They came together with no expectations but what they ended with is a future filled with love they both deserved but never thought they would have.
Stay for Me is the perfect ending to The Arrowood Brothers books. I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside after finishing Jacob and Brenna’s story. These two epitomize everything love should look like. Jacob couldn’t be any more perfect. He is confident, cocky (in the best way), sweet, and as sexy as they come. It takes a special man to love another man’s children, but Jacob did it without pause. I loved the instant chemistry Brenna and Jacob had, but what I loved most is how Brenna knocked Jacob on his butt when they first met! I felt connected to Brenna. Her pain was palpable. The thing that resonated with me is her strength and how she shouldered everything, as we women tend to do. That all changed when the Arrowood family took her into their family. Brenna’s kids, Melanie and Sebastian are such cool kids. The support they showed their mom when she started having feelings for Jacob was so special. That speaks volumes as to what a good job Brenna has done raising them.
What I loved most about each of the Arrowood brothers that even though they lost their mother at a young age and their dad put them through hell, Mama Arrowood’s love helped guide them through the darkness they all felt and brought them to these amazing women. Corinne Michaels has a way of making you feel everything…the good, the bad, and the ugly, but in the end you feel the love!
I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
This is the first book by Corinne Michaels I have read. I absolutely loved it. It was a very easy going book and had me hooked from the very first page. The characters were all so well thought out and the storyline was addictive. I found it hard to put the book down. Even though this is book 4 in the series and not having read the three previous books this did not have any impact on my enjoyment. I will however, go and read the other books when my reading schedule allows.
Brenna was such a strong woman, looking after her 2 kids after the accidental death of her pilot husband. She decided to move across the country to be in the same town as her parents in law. In this small town is where she meets Jacob, Hollywood movie star and brother in law of her friend. The story of their romance is so heartwarming, and the twist that comes was unexpected. Jacob was not your typical movie star but instead a warm, caring individual who was desperate to give back to his community and find the love that he thought he didn’t deserve. Well worth the 5 star rating. Highly recommended read.
The long awaited and anticipated last book in Corinne Michaels Arrowood Brothers series is finally here and I‘m sad to see it end. But Jacob and Brenna‘s story was the perfect ending for this series!
It was filled with so much angst and steam. Brenna and Jacob‘s story is unique and builds slowly throughout the book.
Jacob is a well known Actor and the last Arrowood brother to find his HEA. Due to his fame he is struggeling to find love because he wants to protect everyone from the downsides the glitz and glam brings. But he can not stay away from the recently widowed Brenna. He not only forms a relationship with her but also with her two children after losing her husband and their father tragically.
There where a few unexpected twists and turns in this book where I had to hold my breath and wasn‘t able to put down the book!
I enjoyed this story alot! It was the perfect ending for this series.
4.5
Four brothers that vowed to never fall in love or go back home to where their lives were a living hell. Now one by one they have broken that vow with the last brother falling head over heals for the girl next door. A romance that is all about forgiveness and over coming guilt. A story of two people finding that life can be more than just skating by. Jacob lives life in the public eye and Brenna lives life for her kids, both of them are just what the other needs, but can’t see. As always the tears and heart warmth fill this book. I have grown with all the ups and downs of each brother and was very excited to see how the famous actor would fall. Passionate and funny these group of people know how to love and how to love hard. Out of the ashes of their past comes the beauty of their hearts.
Perfection!
WOW WOW WOW!!!
What an ending to this epic series! Stay For Me is a no-holds barred, emotional and gripping story that will keep you in knots and on the edge of your seat as you devour page after page.
This last instalment is about Jacob Arrowood – the movie star of the four brothers. It’s his turn to be in Sugarloaf – no problem, he though. Time to chill out with his brothers and their new families, prepare for his next movie. What he didn’t bank on was Brenna Allen.
Their instant connection and chemistry was intense and all-consuming. You only hope to find a love like theirs.
Stay For Me has some wonderful cameos from Corinne’s veteran characters such as Noah, Eli and Catherine and even continues to set us up for her brand new series coming next year. I love how intertwined her books are. Who doesn’t love an Easter egg hunt? 😉
And the Oscar of Favorite Arrowood goes to…
Jacob! (Oh, Jacob).
What a wonderful way to end this series, although I’d rather it didn’t end.
We’ve seen glimpses of Jacob in the previous books and we heard about Brenna as well, and it sounded promising. Still, it was better than I expected.
After loosing her husband tragically, Brenna and her kids (Sebastian and Melanie) move to Sugarloaf to stay closer to her late husband’s family. Everything is an adjustment, every little thing is a battle. Getting up in the morning, functioning, working, caring for her children, moving on and dealing with grief.
But even through all these struggles, we can see clearly that they are tight and love each other deeply, their dynamics were funny and heartwelming.
The same goes to Jacob and his family. The Arrowood brothers have been through a lot, they bear deep scars and struggle day in and day out to deal with them. And that only brought them closer to each other.
But Jacob has this way of dealing with things that was comforting. Of all the brothers, I felt he was the most reasonable and balanced one. Yes, he had his issues to deal with (as did them all), but he showed the perfect balance of rationality and emotions when making his decisions.
He was protective and caring, but not in the alpha-almost-destructive way Declan was. He was sweet and funny, but not goofy like Sean. He was a rock of security, but not closed off like Connor.
He was laid back, but responsible. He was funny, but reliable. He was nurturing, but not a martyr.
He was adorable and sexy and he managed to get people at peace around him, like a safe haven.
Brenna was her own kind of incredible. Of course she made mistakes, but she was hurting and it was understandable. She was a fighter, she lived for her family but she also was brave enough to try and live for herself.
Her kids were just wonderful and I wanted to hug them more often than not.
Together, Brenna and Jacob were incredible. Not only their chemistry was wonderful, but the friendship and loytaly they built was enthralling. They had so much in common, and yet so many differences and obstacles to overcome. But they also knew that staying (either in their little town or just together, down this new intimidating and incredible new journey) was deeply worth.
In the end, staying for each other was the only thing they could consider doing.
