The middle of nowhere just got a lot more interesting!Nerdy astronomy geek Marsha, M to her few friends, has never been anybody special. Orphaned as an infant and reluctantly raised by an overly-strict “aunt,” she’s not even sure who she is. M’s dream of someday escaping tiny Jewel, Indiana and making her mark in the world seems impossibly distant until hot new quarterback Rigel inexplicably … inexplicably befriends her. As Rigel turns his back on fawning cheerleaders to spend time with M, strange things start to happen: her acne clears up, her eyesight improves to the point she can ditch her thick glasses, and when they touch, sparks fly–literally! When M digs for a reason, she discovers deep secrets that will change her formerly mundane life forever . . . and expose her to perils she never dreamed of.

Starstruck is the first in an amazing Young Adult series. I first read the four books two years ago. A recent Bookbub ad with the four in a boxed set made me look at the series again and see there were two new books. Of course, I had to go back to the beginning and reread the first four and then the novella and next two. All I did was read for two days. 🙂
Lovely read.
i love this book i read it every day and always get surprised it is easy for teenagers to read and is a great book that you never get bored of.
I thought this was a great book with great plot development. I looked forward to reading it through the whole series! Highly recommend it. Kind of reminded me of Twilight series.
Great new story,I really enjoyed reading something totally different.
Marsha (or M to her friends) is an astronomy fanatic and a very confused teen. She doesn’t know who she is or where she fits in. All that changes when she meets hunky Rigel. He befriends her and all these changes start to happen to her. She’s not sure what it means but when she discovers a hidden secret, she’s Starstruck. Rigel has been looking for her with his parents help for they are not from earth.
Love Starstruck (book 1) and the entire series, and I always can’t wait for the next book in the series to arrive. A “normal” girl on Earth who turns out to be a Martian princess: what a great concept!
This is a great story. Caught my attention and didn’t let go till the end.
Best books I’ve ever read!!!!!
I really, really enjoyed this young adult sci-fi romance. A nerdy 15 year old girl comes alive when a handsome, smart, quarterback joins her school and—gasp—notices her! It gets complicated when he tells her he’s from Mars, but the story is well written, the characters realistic, the dialogue crisp and the romance clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
Great series, not usually into the alien thing but really enjoyed this book
Surprising, fun, clean, delightful!
This story kept you turning pages wanting to know what was going to happen next to “M” was her life going to change for the better… I liked the characters. It has romance and action and kept you entertained!
Great start to the series that made me go out and buy the rest of them, though they were difficult to find. Entertaining and good to share with teens who don’t like to read.
Got this for my daughter and ended up reading it myself. LOVE it!
I read the whole series. Too bad it ended so soon. 🙂
Liked it so immediately ordered the next one in series
I love this book! It’s a clean love story/fantasy.
A young adult fantasy with well written and memorable characters. Some of the characters you love, and some you love to hate!
It left you wanting more, which Brenda Hiatt has a complete series to keep you captivated.
