“I want to teach you all the things your body—and mine—can do.”GraysonI can’t keep my eyes off the new intern at the movie studio. Skye is only twenty. A shy little mouse hiding behind oversized glasses, her ponytail bouncing as she wreaks havoc on the set. Knocking over props. Disrupting my big scene when her phone rings. When she’s around, things go wrong. So why can’t I stop thinking about …
So why can’t I stop thinking about her? Maybe because unlike most women I know, she’s honest. Sincere. Real. And unbelievably beautiful.
Naturally, it’s not that simple. Skye’s nearly two decades younger than me, and she’s my best friend’s daughter. She couldn’t possibly be more off limits.
Of course, I’ve never been the type to play by the rules.
Skye
Grayson James is one of the biggest movie stars on the planet. He has it all—a ripped body, gorgeous green eyes, and a crooked grin that makes panties disintegrate. He could have anyone, yet he keeps talking to me. I just don’t understand it.
We couldn’t ever be together, right? Him the leading man and me an assistant, barely trusted to fetch his coffee. I can just see the tabloid headline: The A-Lister and the Intern. The paparazzi would have a field day, but he doesn’t seem to care. He’s almost got me convinced he’s serious about us.
At least until I overhear him talking to his agent…
Note: This novella was previously titled Falling for the Star.

HEA with a Proposal
This is the story of Grayson and Skye – she is the daughter of his best friend. Grayson secures an intern job on his latest movie for Skye. He is attracted to her immediately but knows she is far to young and should be WAY OFF limits. Skye is your girl next door – someone who doesn’t see her natural beauty and who has always been made fun of for being somewhat of a nerd. Grayson is doing his best to avoid her on set.
There is a pull and push for these characters – mostly with Grayson pushing Skye away until he realizes that she is genuinely “real” not like the starlets who just want his money , attention or fame by being scene with him. They start a relationship but keep things on the down low until they are outed by the paparazzi.
This book was entertaining and a quick read – with one of the best proposal scenes I’ve read – LOVED IT !!

So good I read the last few chapters over & over again
The intern and the movie star. Love it. Skye & Grayson road to their HEA didn’t come without lots of bumps. Grayson is not only her Dad’s best friend. He’s also not planning for a relationship. Skye has crushed on Grayson for a long time then she gets to know more of the man and it’s over for her. Too bad nothing is easy, especially in Hollywood. Highly recommend.
I’m a walking chaos tripping, knocking things over totally embarrassing but my boss older then me my dads best friend does things to my body by just looking at me. I can’t seem to do anything right when he’s around nerves are a wreck I can’t think straight or do anything without making a mess. She drives me crazy…knocking the sets over at the movie Studio tripping she’s chaos on legs that go on for days. Curves in all the right places beautiful eyes hidden behind big glasses. This girl is totally off limits she’s to young for me plus she’s my best friends daughter. Some times you have to go with your instincts and not by the rules even those can be broken. I can’t stop thinking about her. I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing book. Enjoy happy reading

A compelling, entertaining, captivating, and interesting book one in The Man in Charge series! The story line is well written, well-developed, emotionally deep, funny, and consistent with Hollywood drama, steam, off the charts chemistry, amazing characters, and a whole lot more. Definitely recommended!

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
A sweet well written fun romantic story. This touching romance was a forbidden younger women romance. It’s a fun flirty quick read. The characters are interesting with amazing chemistry.
The author pulls us into the lives of Skye and Grayson. He is an older man and she is a younger woman and yet, they have an attraction to each other.

This book is sweet and silly, steamy and all kinds of forbidden. It goes from zero to one hundred in a split second, but I think that was actually part of the fun for me. I loved Skye in all of her nerd-girl glory. I connected with her deeply in her clumsiness and social awkwardness. Grayson can be a prime jerk. He knows it. He accepts it. He can apologize for it when called on it. I think what I liked best about him was that the things he appreciated most in Skye were the things she thought were her biggest faults. I had a lot of fun watching this pair try to figure out their relationship with all the extra challenges they faced. And I thought the ending was almost too sweet for words.
