NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Don’t miss Debbie Macomber’s short story “Lost and Found in Cedar Cove” and an excerpt of her new novel Last One Home, among other special features, in the back of the book.’Tis the season for romance, second chances, and Christmas cheer with this new novel from Debbie Macomber. Carrie Slayton, a big-city society-page columnist, longs to write more serious news … columnist, longs to write more serious news stories. So her editor hands her a challenge: She can cover any topic she wants, but only if she first scores the paper an interview with Finn Dalton, the notoriously reclusive author.
Living in the remote Alaskan wilderness, Finn has written a megabestselling memoir about surviving in the wild. But he stubbornly declines to speak to anyone in the press, and no one even knows exactly where he lives.
Digging deep into Finn’s past, Carrie develops a theory on his whereabouts. It is the holidays, but her career is at stake, so she forsakes her family celebrations and flies out to snowy Alaska. When she finally finds Finn, she discovers a man both more charismatic and more stubborn than she even expected. And soon she is torn between pursuing the story of a lifetime and following her heart.
Filled with all the comforts and joys of Christmastime, Starry Night is a delightful novel of finding happiness in the most surprising places.

Awesome book
I listened to this book on Audible. I enjoyed the narrator, Rebecca Lowman. She was easy to understand.
I love this Christmas story! Carrie is a reporter in Chicago, hoping to get a story that will lead to a position covering serious stories. Finn is a successful but reclusive author living in remote Alaska. Maybe I became so quickly attached to the story because I lived in Chicago and then went to remote Alaska where I now live with my Alaskan guy. I chuckled at a few things that I felt were true of Alaska, including some sayings I have heard, and used, often. The story moved along at a good pace. I had a good time listening to it. I adored the snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. I do that in November. It is not a steamy book.
If you are looking for a good feeling, wish this were a Hallmark movie, Christmas story this is one you should get. It doesn’t take long to read. The audio is about five and a half hours. I finished this in one day. Grab it for some warm Christmas reading.
3/5 stars for this Holiday Adult Romance read. It was good, kept me entertained. I think I’ve just read and watched too many amazing holiday books/ movies lately. It is a super quick read if you just need a quick one sit story.
This was super cute. I loved this sweet Christmas romance. Carrie is a great character. Her love interest, Finn, is awesome too. The enemies to lovers is a favorite trope of mine. I would recommend this.
Starry Night (A Christmas Novel) By Debbie Macomber
2013
Debbie Macomber doesn’t disappoint with this Christmas novel. I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for a review.
Every winter you can usually look forward to a Debbie Macomber holiday book to start off the festive season. Themes of family and forgiveness are amongst some of the important sentiments of the season.
A big city reporter anxious to move from the society page and into more serious stories packs up and heads to Alaska. She is determined to interview this infamous recluse author but first she needs to find him!
One of the best books I’ve ever read! Absolutely loved it! Debbie should write more like this. If I could’ve given it 6 stars, I would have. If you like a good sweet romance, you should definitely read this book!
Amazing start to my winter/Christmas reading. This was my first time reading a Debbie Macomber. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Listening to this on audiobook kept into the story. The way Debbie describes Alaska is beautiful. Carrie is a young woman who works for a newspaper. But doesn’t get the big stories. Until her boss tells Carrie to find a big author named Finn who everyone is trying to interview. And if Carrie gets this interview. Big stories will come Carrie’s way. Love this story don’t want to give to much away. Recommend if you need a cozy winter romance story..
I love this book!!!! I would recommended to all my friends and family.
