Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Te and Jacy have history. Te ran away leaving Jacy, now that Te is back he wants to claim her. Te came back when his adoptive father called to tell him it is time that he take over the Conclave. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.

Te left StarMyst ten years ago. He is now back at the request of his foster father, Edwin, who is dying. Edwin called Te home to take over as his Second and take care of the Conclave, his group of sorcerer’s and sorceress’.
When Te left ten years ago, he took Jacy’s heart with him. Now that he’s back, she finds that she still loves him but is afraid he will leave again and she doesn’t want to get close and put herself through the misery of losing him all over again.
Te realizes that leaving Jacy all those years ago didn’t remove her presence from his thoughts or his heart and now all he wants is a second chance with her, but can he convince her to give him one?
As Edwin’s health declines, things heat up between Te and Jacy. But there’s another that thinks that Jacy belongs to him, as well as Te’s position as Second.

Just a little bit of magic.
Te is home after 10 years and there is Jacy that lady mage that holds his heart. Edwin, Te foster father is ill and he has contacts Te asking to come home and take his place in the conclave. Things had happened between Te and Jacy 10 years ago that is why he left, but now coming back what will he find? The characters are well developed and I enjoyed how well the story flowed. Mary Winter is a new author for me and I am very impressed. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
