“Author Rhenna Morgan has hit another one out of the park as readers are given another intimate glimpse into the Men of Haven, a brotherhood where the men and the women they love protect and care for each other above everyone else.”–RT Book Reviews The Men of Haven: fierce passion, unyielding loyalty. Especially when it comes to their women. Security expert Beckett Tate has met his match … Security expert Beckett Tate has met his match in colleague Gia Sinclair. He longs to run his hands over each and every one of her lush curves. She’s wicked smart and wicked hot. He’s given her time to get used to the idea of “them,” but her time is up and he’s ready to go all in on claiming what’s his.
Despite her love of all things girlie, Gia’s no typical Southern belle. She’s built her skills and reputation in a field normally dominated by men, and now she has a kick-ass career she loves. She certainly doesn’t need a man to take care of her–especially not one who’s pure alpha. Still, Beckett’s the one man who can satisfy the desires she’s hidden under her tough exterior, and she’s hooked.
Letting Beckett take the lead in the bedroom comes naturally to Gia–not constantly proving herself to him professionally is more of a struggle. And when someone attacks her character and career, Gia and Beckett will have to find a balance: her willingness to let go just a little, with his trust in her abilities and his deep, primal need to protect his woman.

“When we fuck you absolutely will not have the lead. Ever.”
The Men of Haven have a gift for finding strong women who can handle their caveman tendencies and dish it back. I was so excited to meet the woman that would make Beck work for it. As I’m sure you already know if you’ve been reading this series, all of the brothers are hot and have no problem finding willing women. And actually, none of them are actively looking for a relationship. But when the right one comes along the big bad boys fall the hardest. And when he brings her to meet the family, what a fun time that is. I confess, I wish I could join the family myself…sigh.
I really enjoyed Gia, she’s badass. She’s had to work hard to earn respect in her chosen field that is primarily men. She has to prove herself over and over, never letting her girly side show. She and Beck have known each other for three years, but it’s not until a drunk confession lets the cat out of the bag that he discovers she’s attracted to him. But that doesn’t mean she’s willing to do anything about it. But if you’ve met Beck, you already know that once he sets his sights on something, it’s a done deal. Now that he knows that his lust is not one-sided, it’s on. Yup, here’s the part where you get rid of any distractions and turn up the A/C. Forget about sleep or work, you won’t be doing any of that until you get to the end of this very sexy and suspense-filled deliciousness where he turns her every ‘no’ into a ‘yes’.
I’m so in love with this series. I discovered it by accident and once I started reading the first book you couldn’t pry it out of my hands with a crowbar. I was hooked, and I still am. I hope they keep adding new men into Haven and the author keeps telling their stories, forever. I’m most excited to meet the woman that flips Axel’s kilt and I get a taste of his sexy Scottish accent in the bedroom. The line forms here…
I just read a thrilling and passionate contemporary romance that had me falling hard and fast for the Men of Haven.
There is no doubt that bad boys are just hot and sexy, and Beckett Tate is definitely both of those, but he also has a vulnerable side that just made me want to snatch him up and cuddle, of course that might have been a bit difficult considering he fell for tough as nails, Gia. Both characters are strong and very compelling and easily connected to and their relationship is one full of emotional turbulence and a kind of “tip toe” through the minefields of their issues. Let me clarify, while the couple had issues, the author did a great job of bringing those issues to my attention and having the couple deal with them without overdoing them and making it seem impossible. The relationship moved at a believable pace and was full of electrifying chemistry and red hot passion.
Stand & Deliver is fast paced and full of thrills and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat with twists and turns that kept me guessing. The plot had several intriguing conspiracies going on throughout so there was never a dull moment to be found. The story also had lots of intriguing secondary characters that rounded out the story and ensured that I want to get to know them all.
This is the first book that I have read by Rhenna Morgan and I just have to wonder how I managed to do that. Her world and characters are well developed and intriguing and the Men of Haven are just my type of bad boy – ones who play by their own rules. I am definitely going to be reading the previous books while I await the next book in the series.
Gia and Beckett
Loved this sensational, well written novel with its great characters and storyline! Definitely a must read from me and the whole series is fabulous! The men of Haven are amazing!
Love this series and really loved this story. Rehenna Morgan is a wonderful writer and I tremendously enjoy her character building and storylines! Can’t wait for Axel’s story!!
I’m not sure I can fall more in love with the Men of Haven than I have with Beckett in Stand & Deliver. This book is everything I love when reading. And Beckett. Oh my gawd! I love Beckett!
Gia and Beckett have known each other for a few years now as they have worked together off and on. She’s protective of her reputation being a woman in a male dominated field. Therefore, she’s pretty much ignored the feelings she experiences when he’s near. Or at least she’s tried to. Until one drunken confession opens the door to an opportunity she could never have imagined.
Beckett has had his eye on Gia since day one. But she’s quick to shut every man down that even hints at more and he’s pretty sure that would include him. It doesn’t stop him from wanting her, watching her and taking into account all of her likes and dislikes along the way. On a night that she’s drunk out of her mind, Beckett jumps on the chance to escort her home. What he learns that night is exactly what he has dreamed of. Now all he has to do is go slow and teach her to trust him.
I absolutely loved everything about this couple. Sometimes a tough heroine can grate on my nerves but Gia was mature enough to slowly let go of the reins and allow Beckett to have her back. The fact that Beckett proved he could step aside and let her lead made that decision easier.
Together, they both had their issues and it was together that they found a way to deal with them. Each of them supplied the outlet and support for the other, strengthening their relationship along the way. This was probably one of the most organic and beautifully written progressions into love I’ve read in a long time. When these two came together sexually it was not your typical “place A in slot B” scenes. Each time increased the trust and emotions between these characters. The scenes added to the overall story rather than act as a filler or something that readers expected. That made this book just that much more enjoyable!
All the characters from the series play a part in this story and added to the growth of the heroine as she moves from a place of isolation into one of family. No unnecessary secondary characters here. There was never a lag in the story and no point at which I felt the need to skim. I wanted to absorb every wonderful word this author had written. In case I haven’t made myself clear…I LOVED Beckett, Gia, and Stand & Deliver!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Carina Press. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have been waiting patiently for Beckett’s story to be told and let me tell you it was so worth the wait!!! I absolutely loved the latest book in the Men of Haven series. Beckett has always wanted Gia and waited 3 years to make his move. Gia really liked Beckett but was scared to take a chance and let her guard down. She has a hard time trusting people she cares for cause they have always let her down in some form or another. Well that was until Beckett. He will move heaven and earth to insure that she is loved, safe and protected always. This story kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. There was action, funny moments, steamy hot moments, and always love. The connection that Gia and Beckett shared was rare and a true treat to read about….they were perfect for each other. I can’t wait to read the next book in this great series. Another fantastic book…well done!!!!
Warning! *Must wear gloves & have a fire extinguisher handy* 😉 If you like your contemporary fiction to be a fast-paced, romantic, action-packed, drama then this 5th & upcoming must read, “STAND & DELIVER” is the perfect fit for you, too! 😀 Just make sure you set aside plenty of time for this smoking hot, page-turner, coz once you start reading, you won’t want to stop! … Oh, and make sure to turn on the A/C, turn off your phones and grab an ice-filled cooler full of drinks!
Each new book has a fresh new plot with amazing attention-to-detail that will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride, and then drop you to your knees begging for more! This author has a magical way of breathing life into her well-defined, relatable characters with witty & entertaining dialogue. Add in a perfect blend of suspense that kept me guessing, with some fun & humor, but also tears, and then other times serious, real-life situations. This grabbed me from the start and hung on tight even beyond the HEA ending, but then it left me craving more!
I never write spoilers or recap blurbs, but I do know when a book is fan-freaking-tastic! 😀 I can honestly recommend this amazing novel & each of the previous standalone books in the phenomenal ‘Men of Haven’ series! And IMHO, they all deserve 6 stars! 😀

Another man of the Haven Brotherhood falls in love and claims his woman. But this woman is not a girlie girl. She is a tough, independent woman who can take of herself.
Gia Sinclair is a security specialist and protecting people is her business, so she has the skills and mindset to take care of business the way some men don’t. She has lusted after Beckett for as long as she has known him, but no one knows. He has a different woman on his arm each time you see him. She doesn’t want to part of the revolving door to his bedroom. So, she keeps her feelings to herself.
Beckett Tate is a man that goes after what he wants. He has wanted Gia for three long years. Since they first worked together. But he knew she didn’t mix business with pleasure but that was about to change. He was going to show her what they could be together and what her being part of his family would be like.
With the way Gia grew up, it is hard for her to trust and give up control in her personal and professional life. But with someone out to destroy her or her career, she has to accept defeat and give up her career or can she accept Beckett’s help?
Will Gia hand over control so Beckett and his brothers can help her? Will Beckett’s family be there for her in all ways that count? Can she let go and tell Beckett how she really feels? Will Beckett tell her how he has felt for years? Will they find out who is out to destroy her before it’s too late?
I have loved everything about this series and each one gets better and better. I thought the last book with Knox was my favorite, but I think Beckett just nudged his way ahead. I want to find myself one of these Men of Haven and join this family, they are the best. And you can’t forget the love and laughter that is in every story. If you are looking for a fantastic series filled with all the feels and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat, then this series is for you. I hope you love it as much as I do. And I can’t wait for Axel’s story, it just might be the best one of all.

M/F romance
This is another great story about the Haven brothers. I really would suggest reading the previous books in this series, as there are several characters and relationships that will make more sense if you have a background.
Beckett is a guy who takes what he wants without really questioning… however, he has found his match in his co-worker, Gia. She is a tough, independent woman who can hold her own in their business of protecting people. He has lusted after her since she first saw her, but because Gia was firm in her no dating co-workers, he’s lusted from afar. He also has a revolving door of women than he brings to their get togethers after work, so he has never truly left that open for Gia to consider, since she didn’t want to be part of his harem.
Gia is a woman who is amazing at her job. She has lusted after Beckett for the whole time she’s worked with him… three years. But she is a firm believer that you don’t date co-workers. On a night when she has had a little too much to drink, she reveals a more vulnerable part of herself to Beckett and despite not really remembering that, Beckett shows her that he’s not willing to wait any longer.
When trouble starts brewing for Gia’s career, Beckett and his brothers band together to show her what a family truly is. Gia’s family life definitely leaves something to be desired, but when she sees Beckett’s family, how much love they have for each other, she knows that being a part of that isn’t bad.
The mystery behind this story was much more satisfying for Gia and Beckett. The catharsis in this story is amazing and I felt vindicated for Gia. I wish that we would have known more about the fallout of that, but maybe if there are going to be more books, we will see a little more into that aspect. Let’s just say that I do hope that there are more books to come as they are entertaining, hot, and have a lot of action.
Ruthie –
This is part of the Men of Haven series, and I would highly recommend that you read them in order. I’ve loved every single book. Each one is unique yet joined by the Haven brotherhood.
In this story, Beckett finally makes his move on Gia… three whole years after they first met. You can only imagine the tension that has built up over that time! And thankfully, whilst they do combust when they give into the chemistry, they both also survive the experience and learn that they really are meant for each other.
Gia is a fascinating character as she has bucked the expectations of her father and done well in the male-dominated world of security. Her family life was clearly terrible, but in a completely different way to Beck’s, yet they find that his family now will be all that both of them need in the future.
There is some drama due to someone in Gia’s past wanting to ruin her future, but the pairing is solid from the start, which makes for a really interesting take on the romance. I also loved catching up with all the lovely Haven family members and being along for the ride of a Haven ladies day out!
Definitely a recommended read – but I would suggest you start at the beginning and get all the goodness.

Stand and Deliver by Rhenna Morgan is a sexy Contemporary Romance. #5 in the “Men of Haven” series, but can be read as a stand alone. Beckett Tate had been waiting for Gia Sinclair for three years. The friendship between these two characters is a perfect foundation for their steamy encounters which made for a page-turning, passionate love story. Ms. Rhenna has expertly written a story filled with steamy passion, a bit of angst, emotional, action with a touch of humor and lots of romance. Enjoyable characters and a string storyline, which is easy to follow and will grip your heart. If you enjoy alpha males, plenty of passion, and strong heroines, then STAND AND DELIVER is a story for you to pick up next.

4.5 Star Review of Stand and Deliver (Men of Haven #5) by Rhenna Morgan
Rhenna Morgan is a new author to me and why that is I have no idea and although book number 5 in the series, I had no issues reading Stand and Deliver. This is security expert Beckett Tate and Gia Sinclair’s story.
Gia is extremely successful in the male dominated world she works in with Beckett. Whilst he is a total alpha male, Gia can hold her own professionally but in the bedroom she has no issue with Beckett taking the lead.
The tug of war between Beckett and Gia intrigued me. The chemistry between Beckett and Gia was smoking hot and certainly heated up the pages.
Beckett is a man I would want to have in my corner, he is hard working, honest, protective and has an aura of power I found overwhelmingly attractive.
I love how feisty Gia is and yet underneath it all she has a softer, more vulnerable side. It is that softer side that finally gives Beckett the incentive to pursue the woman he has feelings for, after all he has wanted her for years.
There was suspense, mystery and romance which had me hooked from the start. The banter between Beckett and Gia had me in stitches at times.
I thoroughly enjoyed Stand and Deliver which was well written and I recommend it happily.
Stand & Deliver is the fourth installment of Rhenna Morgan’s steamy Men of Haven series, that features a close-knit group of alpha males who have created their own family, regardless of blood ties. While this story could probably be read as a standalone, I do not recommend it. You will want all the mouthwatering details from the beginning, so start with Jace’s story in Rough & Tumble to get the scoop on how this brotherhood started.
Our hero in this story is Beckett Tate, a tall dark and handsome security expert. As this series has progressed, I was never that focused on Beckett. I suppose I am just to focused on Axel. Although I am still calling dibs on our sexy Scot, I definitely discovered Beckett’s appeal and probably wouldn’t kick him outta bed for eatin’ crackers. I was also intrigued by Beckett’s sensory processing disorder, which made him extremely tactile. While I hated that he had to deal with a disorder, there were certainly times where he made lemonade from those lemons… or revved up his woman with his need to be hands on. I loved that Beckett was supportive, and respectful… but he also wasn’t afraid to take control when the situation called for it. He was just as yummy as the other brothers have been.
Our heroine is not new to the series, but we are getting to know Gia Sinclair in depth for the first time. As a woman operating in the male-dominated security business, Gia feels like she has to prove herself at every turn. She can’t let down her guard down or appear soft in any manner… until Beckett comes around and shows her a safe space. I really liked Gia. She was capable, ambitious and determined – all great qualities in a heroine. But I especially liked who she was with Beckett, when she let those walls down and relaxed into her true self. But hoo boy – her family just has to go. Her dad is ridiculously pretentious and horrid. I’m glad she was his complete opposite.
The relationship building in this story was mixed with a little suspense, but nothing over the top. I thought the suspense and romantic elements were mixed well, without one overpowering the other. That gave us time to get to know Gia and Beckett, and see them bond as a couple. But the sabotage to Gia’s career helped advance the plot and keep our eyes moving around the page.
I was reading this as I was on work travel, and I kept getting aggravated that I had to put it down and pick it up days later. So inconvenient – working. Sigh. I think when Axel’s book comes out, I’m going to have to take vacation. If I have loved all the heroes so much thus far… I think Axel’s gonna knock my socks off!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from the publisher, Carina Press.
I absolutely love this series by Rhenna. Beckett and Gia are perfect together. Their personalities are the same and the chemistry between these terms incredible. If you haven’t read this series then you are missing out. I’m excited to see what’s next!
Beckett and Gia have had the hots for each other for a few years, but they’ve never acted on their attraction. Until a slip of the lips in a drunken haze cues Beckett into Gia’s true feelings…
Gia was a spitfire with a chip on her shoulder and oh my lands, did she have sass! A career in security constantly defending her abilities caused Gia to have a tendency to be an overachiever- the backfire was she never cut back and let loose. Until Beckett provided a safe haven. Gia’s cloak of defensiveness and tough attitude hid a rather sweet and protective personality I could relate to and made her easy to like.
Beckett had the grace and charm of a panther. Sleek and silent, he pounced out of nowhere with his slightly bossy nature, taking Gia by surprise with his deviously simple plan to sway her into a relationship. It was actually sweetly amusing and intelligently thought out, but his bigger attraction was his vulnerable openness with his sensory processing issues. His tangible need to touch and be touched was handled gracefully and informatively and I personally enjoyed the spin it put on Beckett’s character.
There’s so much happening in this book! The gang comes out enforce to help one of their own, Beckett and Gia’s sizzling connection paces the way for a great romance, and with a twisty bit of suspense…well, I’ll just say Beckett and Gia’s story had all the elements I’ve come to love with this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Stand & Deliver by Rhenna Morgan
Men of Haven #5
Love this series with men who have created their own family – a family anyone would love to be a member of. These men have had rough lives but together have created a safe haven where they are there for one another no matter what may come their way. And, when they fall in love the person they tie themselves to is pulled into the fold and becomes a loved and protected member of the family.
So, in this book we have the fifth story of the series that brings Beckett Tate and Gia Sinclair together. They have known one another for a couple of years and though they have been aware of one another have neither acted on their interest until…one night…Gia needs some help and Beckett is there for her. His eyes are opened to the fact that she and he definitely have potential for a HEA and he takes the brakes off big time and begins to pursue the woman he wants and thankfully Gia is equally invested in the relationship. This is a fun romance to read as they get closer to one another without a great deal of interpersonal friction as she also gets to know his family. Throw in the fact that the two are in the same security/bodyguard type business, there is a jealous guy causing trouble and a few other issues to deal with and you have not only a steamy romance with wonderful characters but a bit of a mystery and some suspense to make things even more interesting.
I am hoping the Men of Haven will keep adding members to their group so that this series won’t end any time soon. And, if it does have to end…well…I hope that Ms Morgan will come up with an equally divine series to follow it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Stand & Deliver by Rhenna Morgan is book Five in the Men of Haven series. This is the story of Beckett Tate and Gia Sinclair. I haven’t yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Beckett and Gia both have been attracted to each other for a while but each thinking the other wasn’t into them that way until one night Gia got drunk and let loose on how she attracted to him.
This was enough for Beckett to go full force on his attraction to her and they started to see where this would leave them.
I couldn’t put the book down and had to read it in one sitting….which is how I always read Ms. Morgan’s books. They are too good to stop reading them!
I had been waiting patiently to read “Stand & Deliver” and I wasn’t disappointed. Rhenna Morgan is one of my favorite authors and I love her Men of Haven series. The friendship between Beckett and Gia was the perfect foundation for the steamy encounters that Rhenna has expertly given us in this passionate and page-turning love story.
Beckett Tate had been waiting for Gia Sinclair for three years and he would wait forever if he had to. Her beauty and strength called to him and she had no idea how he truly felt about her. He had been quietly and longingly watching her since the moment they met. Not as a stalker, but as a man who had finally found his forever love. His need to protect Gia was so fierce that when he saw another man touching her, he went into a jealous rage and claimed her as his. He was the only man who would ever touch her again and he would always be there for her. Beckett would destroy anyone who tried to harm Gia, because she was his.
As with all of Rhenna’s books, I was hooked from the very beginning and I could feel the intensity of Beckett’s emotions reaching through the pages. I understood Gia’s reluctance at becoming more than coworkers with Beckett, but when you have met your soulmate, love is the only answer. I was so taken with Beckett and Gia’s magical journey that I had to read it all over again! I will never forget this beautiful and romantic couple and I am looking forward to the next book in the Men of Haven series, “Down and Dirty,” where we will find out what kind of woman can bring Axel to his knees.
Oh. My. Goodness!!! I seriously can’t get enough of these Men of Haven. I mean. These guys are panties drippin’ hot and I have a feeling there will be more to this series. Which just makes me more excited. But I digress.
Gia is the badass security chick we’ve met before in the previous installments. But this time, we get to learn more about who she is and what makes her tick. Besides the fact that her relationship with her father isn’t exactly picture perfect, the thing that’s been making her tick has been Beckett. One of Men of Haven, co-workers and staring role in her dreams, she can’t seem to get him off the brain. So when she gets a little too drunk for her own good and ends up letting her guard down enough to admit things, Beckett sees the window he never thought was open.
Beckett is the playboy of the brothers, right? Eh…not so much. Looks can always be deceiving. What’s the term? Perception is everything. Well, that seems to be Beckett’s theme. Because despite the fact that he’s been seen with many women, there’s only been one that’s been on his permanent radar. And now that his eyes are wide open and truly looking, there’s no way he’s gonna let her slip through the cracks.
Have I mentioned how much I love these guys? I swoon just thinking about them. Ms. Morgan has done it again with her sexy, suspenseful and every loving contemporary romance. To say that these two character weren’t meant for each other is ludicrous. The literally fit together like a glove. A bullet to the perfect glock, so to speak. The physical chemistry is outstanding, but the story chemistry is what I found to be perfect. I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!
I am loving this series and this book is one of my favorites. Beckett and Gia are just lovely people who have some issues but overcome them through their love and trust of their friends. I enjoyed reading about their ups and downs and how they learned to trust each other.
Looking forward to Axel’s story…why is he being so secretive?
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
***5 ‘#TeamHaven’ Stars***
I didn’t think it was possible.
I didn’t.
I didn’t think that any book coming after Tempted & Taken could best it, or at least push it to the side so that it could share the same spot.
But I was wrong.
I’m woman enough to admit that Ms. Morgan did just that, not only with Stand & Deliver as a whole, but with Beckett & Gia making Knox & Darya scootch over a bit so they can share the top spot as my favorite couples of the series. Because they were kinda everything, just like the book as a whole was. It was filled with sweet and swoon worthy, lots and lots of smexy, a good dose of suspense and a whole bunch of heart.
Gia I LOVED upon first meeting her a few books ago. Fierce, independent, sassy and with a good dose of snark. This woman holds her own in a world where being a woman is difficult. But she hustles and loves what she does. But getting to see behind the armour she wears just solidified why I adore her.
Beckett is simply all kinds of alpha AF nummyness. Protective, observant and all kinds of dominant (but only in the best of ways). I’ll admit I didn’t expect to adore him as much as I ended up adoring him, but his honor and honesty were just as much a drug as his tenacity when he picked a target.
I thoroughly enjoyed Gia and Beckett’s journey to their HEA. It had it’s bumps in the road as they worked out and through their issues, but they did it as mature adults. The mutual respect they had for each other and how much they truly appreciated every facet of the others personalities made this a fun read…and the smexy? Nuclear. But how couldn’t it be when two alpha personalities collide? In the end though, they fit.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised that I loved and devoured this baby, but one never knows, especially when the last book you read in the series knocked your socks off. The suspense aspect was very well done, though I did figure out at least the ‘who’ behind it all, but finding out all that went into the crazy? Now that was an experience. And then there are the members of Haven. This one, for me, really showcased the bonds each of the crew have with each other and brought that family vibe out in spades. I say it every time, but Ninette and Sylvie are AMAZING, I want to be them when I grow up. And I loved hanging with with all the men, women and kids of Haven and most definitely cannot wait to get my hands on Axel’s book!
