There are some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed. My girlfriend kicked me out. Then, even my dog didn’t want me, so he ran away. My boss fired me when I called to let him know I was going to be late. And to put the cherry on top of the crap sundae, I accidentally doused a woman in water who had more followers than brain cells. As if becoming one of the most hated men in Queen City wasn’t … Queen City wasn’t bad enough, some lunatic was stalking the popular life coach I had soaked. The fucker should be running from Zoey, not watching, especially with me protecting her. Some fuckers must learn the hard way, and I’m going to be the one to teach him. You don’t mess with anyone who belongs to a Predator.
It was a perfect day … until I met Stump.
I found a new friend, reached half a million followers, and was on the brink of putting my past behind me when the crazy biker accused me of stealing his dog. To make matters worse, he then blamed me for people hating on him. He did that with no help from me. I don’t blame the dog for running away. I would, too, if I belonged to him.
My skills as a life coach don’t work on him. I might not be able to change the irritating Predator, but I’m not above using him to catch the one who wants me dead.

Definitely not my favorite book in the Predators series. (Seems like no one will be able to top Ice & Grace’s story, Riot.)
Overall, the book left me with a “meh” kind of feeling. I liked certain parts of it but it wasn’t unputdownable or exciting… it was sort of forgettable.
*****COULD BE SLIGHTLY SPOILER-ISH*****
One of the major problems for me… There was no sizzle factor. Plain & simple, Stump & Zoey lacked chemistry. I liked them as friends but wasn’t convinced that they made a great match, romantically speaking.
Stump- I liked how blunt he was with people & that he hung out as friends with Zoey for a month or so (although we hardly got any details on it) but geez… His train of thought seemed to go from “Man, this chick is an annoying kook” to “I wanna make love with the woman I love” in two seconds flat. I did love learning the real meaning behind his nickname though. It makes him a bit sexier in my mind. Can we say role-playing fantasy, please?
Zoey- I liked that she was a bit “out there” & she was sweet but I didn’t feel a strong connection with her character. The living with monks thing explains some scenes but had me rolling my eyes too. And for heaven’s sake, if your man was in bed with another woman & her hands & naked boobs were all over him, please make him disinfect himself before you let him touch you!
What I wasn’t expecting but really liked:
*Ginny- Although her part in the story left a BIG plot line in cliffhanger mode, I was thrilled to bits to get so much of her in this book. Her new job & that plot line cliffhanger are already weaving her back in with The Last Riders! YAY!! Can’t wait to see her back in Treepoint & the moment she meets her love interest! Hoping it’s… *zips lips*
*Greer- He is ALWAYS a scene-stealer in each book he appears in & this book was no different. Although I was supremely upset with Penni & Zoey for putting him in the position they did, I was happy to see him in Queen City because he is such an AMAZING character. Disappointed that we didn’t learn about the outcome of what he did though…
*Creed- This new-to-us Predator was pretty intriguing. Hoping we hear more about him in the future!
What I needed but didn’t get:
*Better editing- The amount of incorrect words, wrong verb tenses & jumbled-up names was very distracting. It’s “splayed legs”, not “spayed legs”. It’s “he nudged her”, not “her nudged her”. It’s Jackal, not Jakal & it’s Cole, not Colt.
*Baby news- Didn’t get it for my favorite couple in the Predators series & got confirmation that my favorite couple in The Last Riders series wasn’t expecting yet either. Grr…
*More of Dalton Andrews, Grace’s dad- It was stated on social media that he will be getting a book in 2018 but with not even a mention of him in this book, I’m left wondering if that’ll even happen…
*Hot sex- The scene we got between Stump & Zoey was awkward & seemed more clinical than sexy. Even the one scene with Stump & a club wh*re was lacking. (See creamy p*ssy note below too.) I’m a greedy b*tch. I wanted quantity AND quality. 🙂
What I got but didn’t want:
*That weird Shade & Stump set-up- Didn’t understand that one bit. It wasn’t necessary, so why do it? Just because it gives Shade an extra scene, doesn’t mean it should be in the book.
*The term creamy p*ssy- The word creamy should NEVER be used to describe a p*ssy. In no way is that sexy. It makes it sound like the girl has an infection down there.
While Stalked won’t be a regular on my Jamie Begley re-read rotation, it IS a must-read for fans of the entire Last Riders/VIP/Biker Bitches/Predators/Porter saga. If you don’t know all the details in this one, chances are you’ll be confused when the next book releases!
This is Book 4 in the Predator’s MC series. Well! She did it again. Another fantastic book in the Predators series. Stump and Zoey are such a mismatched couple that you wonder how she’s going to get them together. In the end, she has pulled two complete opposites together and made you ask yourself, why didn’t I see that? It was good to see all the Last Riders crew. Now we have to wait for Ginnie’s story. This is another great Jamie Begley book that you don’t want to miss.
