Werewolves, Cajuns, and detectives… oh my!Maiya Jones left the big city behind, after following her dreams of being a surgeon. Now she lives in a small town on the outskirts of the Louisiana bayou. When she was accepted for a residency at the local hospital, it felt like a dream come true. But now, she’s not so sure…Something about the tiny Southern town puts her on edge. At first, she thinks … true. But now, she’s not so sure…
Something about the tiny Southern town puts her on edge. At first, she thinks she’s just being silly. But little by little, her feelings of paranoia grow stronger. Something’s wrong here, she’s certain of it. She’d rather walk down a Chicago alley at 3 am than wander down the blvd in this strange little town any day.
Then there’s the enigmatic Cajun with strange golden eyes, who looks at her like he’s sizing her up for lunch. Not to mention the charming homicide detective, who keeps popping up when she least expects it. Before she realizes it, Maiya’s whole world is turned upside down.
It all seems too crazy to be true. Yet in the dead of night, under the shining full moon, things look a little different. But how can Maiya make sense of it all, when she can’t even trust her own senses?
Warning cliffhanger! This is the first book in the five-book series Cajun Werewolves of the Bayou. It is intended for readers over 18.

Wow that was an amazing read. I can not wait for the next book in the series. Autumn Reign is becoming one of my favorite authors. She’s a resident doctor at the local hospital. He was brought in with extensive injuries and they are healing before her very eyes. She didn’t know what to do. All the other staff want nothing to do with him. I received a free arc copy of the book and I am voluntary leaving an honest review.
I love autumns stories because she knows how to write a good story in less than 100 pages.
This is quick and easy read. She has put so much into this story that it kept me gripped from start to finish.
It may be a short story but its action packed and you won’t regret reading it!
This is the first story in the series. So far there is a lot of suspense, interesting characters, and some smoldering sexual chemistry. Surgical resident Maiya has an encounter with a werewolf named Ryder in the emergency room. She finds herself caught up in a world of danger and intrigue. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Maiya is a surgeon in the bayou of Louisiana. One night at work she is stunned when her co-workers don’t want to treat a man that has come in. However nothing surprises her more than when he up and walks out like he wasn’t really injured. Maiya goes to a local restaurant the next morning where she meets Abby. On her way home she is grabbed and pulled into an alley. Ryder the guy from the night before ends up helping her this time. She tarts to feel like she’s being watched but puts its down to being paranoid until one night two wolves fight right in front of her and her new friend Abby changes into a wolf as well. Will Ryder explain everything to her about what’s going on? Will she take a chance with him?
This is a great story but ends for the next story to pick up. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Quick intense read! Maiya and Ryder area hot mess as Ma Titi would say… and Addie seems like the kick-ass female alpha in the story. It ends too quickly for me cause now I’m confused and wondering who’s watching our Maiya and why Ryder didn’t notice!? Well here’s to waiting for book 2! Nurse Maiya meets Ryder in the ER room and then again on her way home in the alley path behind the hospital. Surprise werewolf meets human….of course nurse wants to fix up Addie even after watching her turn into a werewolf…go Maiya! The heat is fast n quick…like I said a lot packed into this quick intro to this new world! Looking forward to it!
I received this as an ARC review from the author in exchange for a review….wahla! Loved it Ms. Reign!!!
I loved Autumn’s first series (Ember Abyss wolves) and this series looks like it is going to be just as good if not better. The story flows well there is plenty of heat and drama and it keeps you engaged all the way to the last page.
Maiya Jones used to be a trauma surgeon at a Chicago hospital but she has recently transferred to a parish hospital just outside New Orleans and she is bored the hardest thing in her day is dealing with people trying to get extra scripts after using all their narcotics That is until the night a man is brought into the Er he appears to have been mauled by some large animal with bite marks and chunks missing from all over his body Maiya is disgusted when everyone refuses to treat him saying he will die anyway Determined to do her best she starts to stitch him up but his stunned when he starts to heal in front of her eyes and then stands up and tries to leave. Who is Ryder Breaux after he leaves the hospital Maiya finishes her shift and goes to leave but has the feeling someone is watching her and that feeling continues When she is attacked a few days later by a wolf another large grey wolf comes to her aid imagine her surprise when it turns out to be Ryder and what is the connection she feels with him. Yes this book ends in a cliffhanger so we will have to wait to see what will happen with the Cajun werewolves
I was a bit confused at the beginning of this but quickly realized we are in for a ride. Maiya is confused and I could relate to what she felt. There is something going on and she can’t make sense of it but seems she is pulled to Ryder and I couldn’t help but not be able to put it down because I was intrigued. I only hate that there is a cliffhanger but I can tell we are in for one mysterious, suspenseful, and sexy ride.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Stalked by the Rogue Wolf: Cajun Werewolves of the Bayou by Autumn Reign is the opening offering of a new series. This book reads well and I enjoyed the fast pace. The characters are interesting and seem to be evolving as you read. While I enjoyed this read, I must admit that the cliffhanger ending to this first book made me thump my Kindle! I wanted to know more! Now! LOL! That’s how you know you’re hooked by a storyline. A fun read that will have you thumping your Kindle too!

Stalked By The Rogue is a page turning read from start to finish! It’s a quick read, that’s fast paced, with twists and turns, intrigue, danger, and drama. The characters are well developed and interesting, with great chemistry. A wonderfully written story and I definitely recommend it.
This is the first time that I remember reading Autumn Reigns book. She is a great writer and she could be the next and up coming Christine Feehan if she keeps writing like this. This story involves wolf shifters and a resident Dr. I loved this book and cannot wait to read her next book.
Who wants Maiya and why? Maiya has only been in New Orleans for a few weeks, doing her residence at a small parish hospital when a man names Ryder is brought in who had been mauled by an animal. As she is treating him and stitching him up, he starts healing, wakes up and walks out of the hospital. The next day she is targeted by someone and Ryder saves her. Then he turns into a wolf and fights another wolf. What has she gotten into? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
