A DUKEY’S, DARK DELIGHTS TITLE.(A collection of standalone novella sized, dark reads.)Ever get that feeling you’re being watched? You probably are.Her sad eyes. Her thick lips. Her long dark hair. Her quickening of breath. Her hurried footsteps. Her undiluted fear. The anxiety a woman has when she knows she’s being followed does something to the sadistic animal inside me.We all have issues, mine just … animal inside me.
We all have issues, mine just run a little deeper than most.
My sister and I had a childhood tarnished by an abusive parent.
We grew up two very different breeds of our mother’s creation.
Then I discover the beautiful, yet broken, Alice Young.
She’s seeking advice, a place to unburden her thoughts.
What she gets is a dangerous, callous predator who wants to quench his thirst with her tears.
My precious, Alice, feels so alone, but she’s not alone.
I’m watching her.
I feed on the fear of others.
Alice Young may prove to be too damaged, even for my appetite.

This was so good!
This was my second Ker Dukey book, and it did not disappoint.
It kind of reminded me of an Addison Cain book in that it was not all about leaving you with a warm fuzzy feeling at the end; it’s not a dark romance where you know there’s a HEA at the end.
I would call this more of a thought provoking mind f*** that will have you looking at everyone you pass suspiciously.
…. In a good way, of course.
A Dark Delight
Quick and dirty….crazy and creepy! Loved this dark delight by Ker Dukey!
Oh Erik, you are one flawed, dark and deadly beast, but oh how you crept up on me!
Alice she was a surprise! I love how you think of her one way and then BAM! She shows her true colors!
This is a quick read, but oh so worth it!
Ms. Dukey can create a lovely little novella and make it so much more!
Looking for something a little left of center? Look no further! Stalk Her will make you take a look behind you and make you beg for more!
A twisty tasty treat!
Da dum…da dum…da dum…
Ker Dukey and dark go hand in hand. I was excited to hear she was going to give us dark delights. Stalk Her doesn’t disappoint. Damaged, deranged Erik will leave you smiling like a sick puppy at the end. You have to be a lover of dark to fully appreciate these kinds of delights. For me, I laughed from beginning to end. Something about dark and crazy just makes happy. A chilling, suspenseful, oddly sexy read. You’ll devour this dinky dark and crave more!
I think it’s no surprise to you all by now that stalkers are my jam sub-genre.
Why, Queen J asks? Well, at the risk of sounding creepy, it’s because I can’t resist that obsessive kind of love. Who doesn’t want to be adored that much?
Stalk Her is a little different from my normal stalker-type book. Less romantic or lovey-dovey, more intense and dark, yet not frightening or scary. It was well written and engaging, with hidden depths. And oh, that ending.
Crazy and delightful and entrancing all at the same time. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait for more.
Stalk Her is a quick novella written by Ker Dukey to keep her fans happy and held over until her next release. This book is about Erick and Alice It is told from dual POV but I’ll warn you now that these two don’t really interact with each other until about 70% in, but trust me…the lead up will keep you hooked.
Erick Ross is a part owner of LeeRoss Industries. He’s wealthy, extremely good looking, and a total psycho! At the beginning of the book and throughout we get little glimpses of Erick and his sister Ebony’s childhood and the abuse that he was given at the hands of his own mother.
Erick’s sister Ebony runs an organization called Anonymous that helps people out of bad situations. Erick is there seeing his sister one day when an email comes through. That’s when he gets his first scent of Alice Young, his new obsession.
Alice Young has had a rough life. Her mother has basically been a vegetable for 2 years. She lives with her alcoholic stepfather and her stepbrother. Alice wants out. Out of that house, out of that town. Alice is willing to do anything to get away from it all, including selling her own body.
In a desperate move, Alice reaches out to Anonymous in hopes that Ebony can help her…only it’s not Ebony that is on the other side of that email.
Erick enjoys the chase..the hunt..the fear. He thrives on it even.
Alice has a dark side of her own. There is much more to little Alice then there seems.
I don’t know what I was expecting with the ending but THAT wasn’t it!
That’s why Ker Dukey is the writer and I’m the reader because her ending was a lot better then what I had pictured in my head!
This was a novella so of course, it was a quick read. I would have liked the initial face to face interaction between Alice and Erick to happen a little sooner but the plot went at a good pace and the build-up made it all so much better in the end so I have no complaints! Very well written.
*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
“I’m the monster of her creation, and the beast always turns on its master in the end.”
Ooooh Benny, I mean Erik ha ha. There’s a possibility you two could be related.
Stalk Her is the first book in the Dark Delights series. I’ve been waiting for this book for some time. As soon as I read the blurb, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
If you’re a Benny fan this is right up your alley.
I love to read about stalkers. The way their minds work somehow fascinates me.
Erik is deliciously twisted. He craves the fear of his prey.
Alice is perfect, broken and exactly what he needs. He has to have her.
“I imagine tears in your brown, doe-like eyes, your breath quickening, that fat bottom lip quivering as your heart sputters in your chest when you realize I’m coming for you.”
“Boo, little Alice.”
Stalk Her did not disappoint. It was everything my black heart desires. I devoured it in a day and I can’t wait for more!
Advanced readers copy provided in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book I have read by Ker Dukey and I have to say she does not disappoint. Stalk her was super suspenseful and intense. I could not stop turning the pages, I just had to know what was going to happen next. Erik thrives off fear and the when he sets his sight on Alice he becomes fixated on her. Alice is vulnerable and alone and that makes Erik want to watch her even more. Once Erik is immersed in her life he finds much more than he thought and it is almost to much for him to handle. This story is not as dark as I thought it would be but it thrilled me and excited me all the same. I also loved the sexy side to the story and the richness of the characters. A must read in my opinion.
First off it’s no shock that this book is about stalking given its title, right. Second it’s no shock that it’s twisted given the author, right. However, I can’t explain why in the world my mouth was just hanging open in shock! Well I can explain but that’s giving to much away. Hehehe
I can not wait for the next book and more stalking. This story might be a novella but it is not lacking in depth in anyway. I felt it was a full, well paced story. And I’m so happy there is more coming. My heart is attached to Erik, and he really knows how to make a heart beat fast.

Shannan –
I love when Ker Dukey goes dark. A little stalking, some death, and sex… what more could you ask for!
Erik and his sister were treated horribly as children. They were locked in closets, given to their mother’s new boyfriends. For Erik, he craved the dark and sorrow. The more upset a woman was, the more Erik thrived. After seeing an email meant for Ebony, his sister, Erik knew he had met the next object of his obsession. Alice was in a difficult situation living with her dying mother and step-dad. She would make the perfect woman to stalk. She needed him… or did she?
I loved the plot twist, it worked perfectly with the storyline! I’m sad it wasn’t a longer book just because it was written so well, but the quick read fit perfect in the time frame I had available. I can’t wait to see what Ker Dukey comes up with next!

This book is a dark thriller thrown in some sexual love scenes. Both main characters are
Were a treat to read. I couldn’t put this book down.
4.5 Stars
Erik Ross reveled in the drumming heart and the pulsing veins of his targets whose fears fed his insatiable hunger. When he saw an opportunity for a new target, he used her sadness and vulnerability as bait. But Alice Young might turn out to be a more difficult job than he anticipated.
This book is short and an instant gratification for dark souls. Suffice to say it pleased my constant need for darkness.
Both characters were intriguing and drew me to their stories. I liked seeing how far they would go to get what they desperately needed. I just love characters who chose to live unapologetically.
Stalk Her is a story of taking control. It would appeal to readers looking for a quick dark read.
This twisted little dark delight is exactly that…a dark delight. It’s dark, suspenseful, and will make you think think twice when you get that feeling that someone is watching you. Erik and Alice were quite the pair and I cannot wait to get more Asher. this is the perfect read for when you need a quick hit of dark to keep your heart racing. So excited for more of this series!
Ker Dukey did not disappoint with this short, dark and dirty thriller.
Erik is all things creepy, but damn… why is it that I always fall for the psychos? Cuz that sexy twisted bastard can stalk me any day.
The plot, the suspense, everything was paced perfectly… but it wouldn’t be a Ker Dukey book without an epic twist thrown in there that I was not prepared for.
And then that ending? WTF!!!
NEED. MORE. ERIK!
I didn’t expect a beginning like what our author has created. It’s really rough and heart wrenching – you’ll see why it has a psychological tag. You may even end up with a tear in the corner of your eye – you can always say its allergies.
Erik Ross is not a man you think of when you hear the word “hero”. He seems to be a very intelligent man but in some ways it’s hard to picture him being a businessman. This just shows how well the author has done at creating him. His past is very sad and the author shows how much it has affected his present.
This story is almost telling the reader to be cautious. Just because a man may be handsome on the outside doesn’t mean anything as to what he’s like on the inside. And make no mistake that goes for women as well.
Alice Young is a woman who feels picked on – some may even say bullied. Others may say that people are taking advantage of her. It’s something that will break your heart. There’s not much to this story where you get any sense of happiness.
Our story is one where you just have to let it unfold – you can’t guess. Erik has all the control. He’s the puppet master and we have no choice but to follow. Especially once he has Alice in his sights. There are just so many twists and turns that I was afraid that if I turned away for even a second I would miss something. How can something this dark have a happy ending or any type of ending?
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
You know that feeling, the one that gives you
Chills up your spine. The feeling that someone is watching you. That feeling that you just may not be alone? This story is so creepy. I loved it. I found myself looking behind me, looking out my window and just wondering if anyone one could be watching.
Erik is dangerous and he loves to scare women. He gets that thrill from their fear. He sets his sights on Alice and it begins. So twisted, freaky how easy it was for him to get the information on Alice. This book will chill you, fabulously dark and twisted!!
Holy fucking shit. I need more stalker books in my life!!!
I was thrilled to find out Ker was coming out with a hot and dirty stalker. This was more than I was anticipating! Dukey kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! There were no dull moments, nor were there any moments where I felt I knew where the story was going!
The characters, Erik and Alice, are super intriguing. They both have fucked up pasts, and I mean, who doesn’t in these dark reads? I crave them! I had to know more about each of them and each scene Dukey wrote kept me interested. The twists and turns just kept on coming!
Overall, this was an awesome dark novella, which was a delight to devour in one sitting. Enticing and elicit, this is one read you don’t want to miss!
Devilishly dirty dark delight indeed!
Well paced, quick read, this novella was equal parts chilling equal parts suspenseful.
Stalk Her is just as the title suggests.
The object of stalking, I found a bit weak and annoying so I had a hard time empathizing with her and Erick was quite the creepy crawly character that fit the role.
However, the story redeemed itself as it was well written and the unexpected twist at the end I never saw coming.
3.5 stars!
Stalk Her by Ker Dukey is dark beyond belief. For lovers of the dark romance kind, this is for you!!
This novella just steps over the light and sweet. It is dark, depraved and twisted, and I freaking loved it! It will send shivers down your spine, trust me on that.
Ker Dukey has knocked it out of the park with this one. It is beyond social norms, and the ending will blow your socks off. Literally.
Stalk Her is a novella that is suitable for those who like to travel to the dark side. This book is not normal. It is dark. SOOO DARK. It is creepy and twisted and so way beyond normal, and you will love it for that reason.
Beware, though: it is not for the faint of hearts.
Erik feeds off the fear of the people he stalks, thanks to a horrible childhood with a horrible mother and her horrible boyfriends. Now, as an adult, he spends his time raking in the money and finding broken little subjects to fixate upon. When Alice comes to his attention, he’s instantly obsessed by the 19-year-old who’s as broken as he, who needs him. Then he slowly stalks his way into her life with the intention of rescuing her from her obviously horrible life.
But, is Alice too damaged for even Erik? Or are these two broken people perfect for each other?
Stalk Her really was not what I was expecting, but that is a GREAT thing. Yes, it’s dirty as it states in the tagline, it’s a little dark, it’s definitely twisted, but it’s so entertaining and so readable and I couldn’t help but fall for Erik. He’s such a damaged man. He’s not a particularly good man, either, but I still fell for him. There’s just something about him that I love. He’s the definition of stalker, but he’s a lovable stalker. And then that little twist that Ker threw in? Yeah, that made the story as far as I’m concerned. I so didn’t see that coming! It’s said that Asher will be seen again, too, and I can’t wait.
This short dirty Novella will leave you wanting more! Due to his past, Erik is a dark damaged soul. Without giving anything away, all I can say is I love how he met his match, the one he didn’t see coming.
