**ARC REVIEW**
WOW! WOW! WOW! WTF Did I just read…. Absolutely Amazing and Thrilling.
I’m not going to lie, this book ended too quickly for me. I wanted so much more of Erik and Alice.
Erik has dark secrets that crave him every night and every day. Living a life to mask his own.
Alice is stuck in her life, where she believes she’s missing out due to caring for her ailing mother. Until Erik comes along and both their worlds collide and I mean Collide!!
If your into Super Dark, Suspenseful, Thrilling, Romance – This book is 100% for you! Enjoy!
This author can for sure create Great stalker book full of dark bits and twisted characters. Nothing – yes NOTHING is what it seems. I thought I had everything sorted but THAT ENDING…!!! It was so unexpected that I hope deeply that the next story will be released soon!
So delightfully dark and twisted, I devoured this story and was happily surprised with how everything unfolded. Perfection. This book gave me chills, made me uncomfortable and my heart speed up. Sometimes you aren’t in the mood for flowers, romance and fairytales. This series of novellas will definitely feed that need for the creepy corners of your mind. I can’t wait to discover the next dark soul and what kind of kinks they are into.
I love me some good stalker romances, and Ker Dukey can write some dark as fuck ones. Although Stalk Her wasn’t as dark as some of her other books, it was just dark enough.
Erik Ross has had a fucked up childhood. We are all products of our surroundings and Erik’s life has made him fixate on people. He stalks them. Which is what he does to Alice Young.
Nineteen year old Alice Young is the perfect bait. She’s weak, and shifty, which makes for the perfect person to intimidate. Erik is like a cat playing with a poor defenseless mouse…
Or is he?
Is there more to amenable Alice Young than meets the eye?
I really enjoy Ker Dukey’s books. There’s always that element of surprise that catches you off guard. Stalk Her was mysterious and kept me reading till the very end. Be warned that this really isn’t a “romance”.
Can’t wait for the next book!
Stalk her was a fun, dark and dirty novella from Ker Dukey. I was hooked from the start and wanted more of Erik. He was twisted and just so addicting!
Due to his horrible childhood, Erik was very damaged. But oh did l love his stalker ways. But when he meets his match? Lord-he did not see that coming! This story was sexy and shocking and that twist?! OMG! I need more! 3.5 stars! ~Ratula
Yes!!!! Ker this is going to make me a very happy bookworm, Dukey’s Dark Delights is a new series of little reads to tide the bibliophiles out there like me, who like to keep their hunger for the darker romance topped up between reads. Stalk Her sets up the premise of this series with a bang, and I cannot wait to see what more the dark delights are going to bring me.
Stalk her centres around Eric as the male protagonist of the story, a man whom has suffered a dark and tormented upbringing. The prologue of the book throws you straight into his world. You immediately know where his mind is at, a fantastic and gripping start to the book that had me so eager to devour the words and turn the page!
Eric is a successful man, a man that to his surprise hides his demons in plain sight, he loves the hunt and the awareness some have that he is lurking; a predator stalking his prey. When his interests are peaked he becomes fascinated with a girl, his mind is made up, she will be his.
Alice Young is the woman that is now the sole interest of Eric’s desires. She is a girl lost, restricted by the people in her life, looking for a way to be free of the burdens she carries. When she sets eyes on Eric she is consumed by him, and so begins a lustful, intense relationship between out two main characters.
Stalk Her is filled with a host of secondary characters and interwoven story lines that I hope will be explored in future instalments throughout the series. There were so many twists and turns that made this novella an easy, suspenseful read that teeters on the darker side of romance. Things I didn’t see coming, strengths and vulnerabilities that played out as I anticipated and then others completely crept up and blind sided me.
Stalk Her does exactly what it professes, it is well written, with a good continuous pace, full of content and characters with depth that I love to see in a novella; however you often find these qualities lacking with a lesser word count. Yet for me Ker Dukey nailed it!!
Wow wow and Wow. I could not put this book down. Love Erik, Love Alice and all the other characters kept me intrigued.
Ker Dukey never disappoints with her dark reads. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
This is a little dark delight from the queen of dark and Bravo again!!! Eric is a masterpiece of messed up madness! During the day Erik works at his development company “LeeRoss Industries” to keep up the illusion he’s just like everyone else but off hours he is anything but normal. Alice has a dark side all her own when Erik finds her as his next obsession. If you loved Ker’s Empathy series and Ryan then this is the novella for you! Told in dual POV. “You can’t calm the fear once it has planted itself inside, like roots twisting around the bones, embedding it poison into the bloodstream, it consumes.”
I love the dark stories Ker Dukey writes! Pretty Stolen Dolls is one of my favorites and this short didn’t disappoint. Dark and twisted, it takes you to the very edge and back again. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
***5 ‘Can You Feel Me’ Stars***
I’ve said this before, but any time Ker Dukey announces that she is going to be putting more words out into the universe, I’m all in. I don’t really care what she’s writing, I just want it and this one was a total mind fuck wrapped up in a dark and tidy little package. Calling it a ‘Delight’ is quite apt and though I do want more, because it’s Ker Dukey’s words, this one also left me quite satisfied as a whole.
Erik and Alice are interesting. Maybe not the more enticing of words to use, fascinating is probably the better word to use because they are both quite unique. Erik’s…unique predilections drew me and Alice was much more than I thought she would be. The way they collided were definitely not the norm, but I can’t say that they didn’t make me want more of them and kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next.
This one is a novella, but it packs a punch. It will make you want more, but as I said in the beginning, you’ll find that it’s also strangely satisfying in many ways. And though it isn’t AS dark as other books my Ms. Dukey was been, the tone is definitely not a light one by any means and some may still find things that are triggers within these pages, so buyer beware. The supporting cast of characters were all well written, but I’m definitely crossing my toes that we’ll get to see two in particular in another Dark Delight at some point down the road.

Let me say that if the stalkers look and behave like Erik, I want one! Immediately!
Stalk Her was quite a short read but how delicious it was! Ker Dukey challenged my morals with this book and awakened in me incredible excitement. Do you know this strange feeling that you’re being watched? When the hair stand up and the beating of the heart is accelerating? This is what the author caused when I devoured this book!
Eric experienced a childhood trauma that left a mark on his psyche. That’s why this guy has quite a specific taste and the damaged Alice fits perfectly into this category. And this is how the hunt begins…
I love every page of this book! Ker Dukey manipulated me so much that I felt this story in 100%! And the ending? I’m speechless. Seriously. The only thing I could say was “what the hell?!”. Well played, Ker! You played me like a child! Bravo!
Dark, delicious and delightful.
For a novella this packed a punch. Lots of depth and I particularly enjoyed the creepiness and the feeling of being watched present throughout.
In true Dukey style, her little story kept me in its hold until the end of this twisted little page-turner.
I love Ker’s writing. Her vivid imagery, well fleshed out characters, and how she creates the perfect atmosphere always leaves me stunned, and boy does this woman know how to write dark, filthy sex.
It left me hungry for more of Dukey’s Dark Delights!
Let me preface this review with the fact that Ker Dukey is one of my favorite authors. I absolutely devour everything that she puts out. With that said, Stalk Her was a hard one for me. It didn’t pull me in, like her stories typically do. I felt that it was unrealistic and difficult to get into the mindset of the characters. Just certain situations were out there and hard for me to relate to, even knowing this is fiction.
Was there drama, suspense, and unexpected (devious) situations? Absolutely. Erik is a demanding alpha male that takes what he wants. What he didn’t expect was for Alice to kick back as much as she did. That was in fact, a huge challenge for him. That is why I rated Stalk Her a four. The writing was still exceptional and well done. Ker can draw you into her sinister, sick and dark stories and leave you reeling for more. I am definitely looking forward to Annemarie’s story; hopefully coming soon!
