When being different leads to the best years of your life. Powerful witch Silver Spell Solange always dreamed of getting into S.S.S. Academy. When she finally achieved it, she couldn’t have been happier. Making it through the first year at the prestigious academy was more challenging than she could have ever expected, but it also introduced her to four unique shifter boyfriends — not to … boyfriends — not to mention Star, her adorable uni-kitten familiar.
The gang is hoping for a peaceful break between semesters in order to relax and explore their relationship. But summer is breezing by, and after a shocking discovery, Silver and her men must take things into their own hands to learn more about the magical ring on her finger and the powers it truly possesses.
Year One may have been hard, but it had nothing on the challenges that Year Two brings. Some students will rise, others will fall, and through it all, Silver must make sure she can keep her men together no matter what crazy obstacles and tests they’re about to endure.
Silver might be prepared for what S.S.S. Academy has in store. But something else — something even darker and more dangerous — is happening in the shadows of the academy, and it has a certain ex-boyfriend’s name written all over it.
Can Silver manage to juggle everything that this second year will throw at her? Or will she fail before the final exam?

I am so in love with this series!!! I thought book one was fantastic but his one manages to top it somehow which should have been impossible. We catch back up with Silver over Summer break which is soon to be over. There is some great group bonding time going on making things look great then school stars. From day one Silver has a giant target on her back though they cannot figure out from where. Lots of twists, turns, and surprises while still full of unexpected treats as well as steam. Absolute must read for fans of Academy paranormal reverse harem. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Year two wasn’t written as class heavy as year one. We didn’t get the day to day of the characters, but we did get the magic, the adventure, the danger and lots of action packed moments. Overall it was definitely a great read, the characters are developing and growing together as a group and the storyline is progressing quickly. I very much look forward to reading what Avery Song has in store for Silver and her mates!
The Supernatural Spy Academy – Year Two is one emotional book! The pace is well done and the storyline moves nicely and kept me engaged from beginning to end. There is some character development throughout the cast of characters that the author, Avery Song, introduced to readers with her first book in this series. The expectation from Silver and her men is that everything will remain the same and that things will just intensify when it comes to their classes and exams…they have no idea that what is in store for them this semester…is going to shake everything up. But someone is after Silver, and they are bringing the fight to the Academy as well and all who attend. Dark days are ahead.
My first suggestion/recommendation before you start reading this book…grab a box of tissues!! The author gives readers some backstory on Dimitri and OMG! I was in TEARS!!! I practically bawled my eyes out a couple times reading this story, but they are some seriously touching scenes as well. There is some character development with the characters, but it’s a slow progress, so don’t go in thinking that you’ll see huge leaps and bounds in how they act, react, and handle situations. I do love how they are coming closer together. They bicker at times like children, but I honestly find it absolutely adorable…most of the time. LOL! Yeah, I find it annoying when it goes on too long, but I think it’s safe to say that the author knows when she’s stretching things a bit thin and she pulls back just enough to keep things from crossing that line too often.
True to form like in the first book, there are some steamy moments in this book, but like in book one those scenes don’t happen until you get closer to the end. On one hand, I’d like more throughout the story, but on the other hand…I get why the author chooses to write this way. The focus of Silver and her men should be on surviving, succeeding, and staying ahead of the game and the danger that stalks them. Now, I will say this…I hope that soon she has Callister get a nice smack down sooner than later. LOL! When the author hinted in the beginning that Silver was going to have to cross paths/deal with Callister I frowned, but man things go wild in that department and I ate it up!
Now, when it comes to things that I didn’t like about this book…there is a couple but nothing that would make me just super irritated. Now, in the last book Silver was told to research the ring and the true owner/the first. One would think that when a PROFESSOR especially tells you…and a couple others, that that would make the research a priority especially when they failed to read the instructions. Nope! It’s like it slips their minds and I found that annoying because there could have been some seriously insane consequences! Thankfully, nothing so far but I do like that Silver does get scolded…more than once. I’m eager to learn more about her as well.
All in all, I truly enjoyed this book…maybe even more than the first book in this series, despite the darker tone that this story takes. There is plenty of action, a nice balance of romance, and some steamy moments to get you hot and bothered. I’m loving the dynamics and development and am looking forward to what comes next! I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. An absolute must read for those who love shifters, romance, steamy moments, danger, and books that fall in the reverse harem academy.
Year two of Silver and the guys story as SSS academy and it just gets way mire interesting and better than the last. They find out some things about her that they weren’t expecting and the guys. I seriously love how loyal and fiercely protective they are of her and her that same way with them. Also like the friends she’s made. They are nit willing to give up in each other or the school. Just can not put this series down at all.
This series just gets better. In this second book the story continues and we get a ton of emotions with Silver, her family and the guys. We get to see them growing up and getting more mature, but they don’t loose the fundamentals about their personalities.
Is so good that Silver can experience real friendship for the first time in her life and that all is helping her move past her background with Callister and Nikki.
So many more questions about her dad past, and about who the bad guys are.
So get ready to a lot of emotions with Dimitri and Wolfgang, Yuri and Ryu and our favorite silver haired witch.
No spoilers of any kind included except this and that is there is a insane cliffhanger waiting at the end of this story!
But other than that I absolutely loved this book and I’m impatiently waiting for the next book.
As always Yumoyori created another emotional roller coaster ride, which that’s a normal for her!
So yes I most definitely do recommend it for anyone who’s searching for a fantastic story to crawl into and get themselves completely lost within its pages!
