This book is RATED-R FOR LANGUAGE by the publisher.Bush pilot Tom Stokes is about to face the worst day of his life. On a clear winter morning, he sets out to do some repairs on a remote hunt camp, leaving his five-year-old son and very pregnant wife snug in their beds.On the return trip, a squall forces him into an emergency landing and he winds up—quite literally—in the lap of petty criminal … the lap of petty criminal Dale Knight. Dale, now a fugitive from the law—and worse, from a merciless drug lord who just happens to be his brother—draws Tom into a web of mayhem and treachery that puts not only his life at risk, but the lives of his wife, son . . . and unborn child.
SQUALL is a fast-paced, darkly-comic tale of murder and gang-style retribution that grabs the reader on page one and just doesn’t let go.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the predicaments that arose. The thing that I like the most about the book are the characters and how some of them started out bad but became likable. I really think that people should take a look at this book.
I lived it kept me reading all night!
Good read a little out there on the plane crash
And how every one survived
Enjoyed this book very much. This book meets the definition of a page turner. Exciting throughout.
Read this book! You won’t be sorry. What a wonderful story. It held my interest from the first word and I could not stop reading until I finished the book. It would make a great movie.
If I read it, it was excellent !!!!! I READ IT. JAK,jr.
Loved it! It was a relatively short book, but the characters were well delineated and believable. It started with a bang and never let up. I’ll be reading more of this author.
Fun read with lots of page turning action..
I kept wanting to finish the book to get to the ending…good suspenseful writing…
It was a quick read and the story kept your interest.
A noir-like novel with lots of action and disturbing characters. Yes you must suspend disbelief at times, but hey, it’s entertainment.
Liked the characters.
a little too far fetched but enjoyable read
I looked forward to reading 3 or 4 chapters of this shortish book before sleep every night. It was enjoyable and fun. I think downloaded it a while ago as a Free Kindle book and I would look to read other offering from the author.
It initially sets up 3 strands – or ways of looking at the story which flows over a 2 or 3 day period of time. It uses the format of short chapters to keep the pace going. And the characters are clear and well-defined and not too many of them. The plot\story made sense overall although I agree with another reviewer when they say “why Tom would have gone out in a flimsy plane to repair a building (that could have waited) when a severe storm was on its way, especially when it was his and his beloved son’s birthday and his wife was about to give birth. ”
All in all though a good read and worth getting.
What a ride! No flowery location descriptions just non stop action. A great read.
This is.my kind of book. Action unpredictable. Can’t wait for another.
A GREAT SHORT STORY REALLY ENJOYED IT
This book is different from all of the other novels Squall is a eye opener to the drug cartel world and it doesn’t matter if your family, you are risking your life everyday because of that person.
A pilot is stranded after making an emergency landing in a squall. He is desperately trying to get home to his pregnant wife. Then he gets drawn into a web of crime as he encounters a fugitive from the law.
