Scot Harvath must do whatever it takes to prevent the United States from being dragged into a deadly war in this heart-pounding thriller that is “timely, raw, and filled with enough action for two books” (The Real Book Spy) from the #1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor. Across Europe, a secret organization has begun attacking diplomats. Back in the United States, a foreign ally demands … United States, a foreign ally demands the identity of a highly placed covert asset. Between the two, all the ingredients are there for an all-out war.
With his mentor out of the game, counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath must take on the role he has spent his career avoiding. But, as with everything else he does, he intends to rewrite the rules–all of them.
In Spymaster, Scot Harvath is more cunning, more dangerous, and deadlier than ever before.

One of the best books in the Scot Harvath Series. If you haven’t read it you are missing out!
The best of modern day spy novels. Believable characters and plots. Don’t pick it up if you are going to sleep-if you do you will not be able to put down.
Great book by a great author
All of Brad Thor’s books are excellent reading.
Ripped from the headlines and, I fear, far too realistic and possible. Thanks for giving me something else to worry about at night, Mister Thor!
i am a follower of Brad Thor’s and his main hero Scot Harvath. This book is definitely keeps you interested and entertained, also a lot of facts about Russia is true (lived there for first 24 years of my life)
Latest in the great Brad Thor series don’t miss this one
What can I say. I am always entertained by this series. Great Characters
Brad Thor always writes a a good interesting, can’t put down book.
My first ever Scot Harvath book so maybe I’ve missed out on some good things but the first 100 pages were pretty much exposition about the good ol’ days when Harvath was younger. There were references several references to a wife, various people, and events that had zero bearing on the story. Without those references, this chain-of-events story would’ve been a novella. The cast appears to be extremely white, which is entirely possible but unlikely given the make up of the current military. Since the rest of the story was exceedingly realistic, this seemed an incongruous if minor point. If you’re new to the series, this is not the place to start.
Not his best to date , but still good !
Wasn’t his best but it was still good.
Very good. Page turner
The inclusion of all the new technologies was very interesting!
Great read
Another great Scott Harvath adventure.
Brad Thor is an excellent writer. He brings the characters to life.
Have read all Brad thor’s books and this one wasn’t quite up tohis usually stories. I didn’t have the need to read right thru, it didn’t hold my interest like most of his others.
Interesting story, but I enjoyed his other books more. I have read all of his books, and consider him one of my favorite authors.
I love all the Thor books… while this is not his best effort IMO, it is a good read and worth buying.
