I’m not an easy guy to get along with. Or so I’ve been told.
Something about over-domineering, alpha-hole, and rich rubs people the wrong way.
All good in the neighborhood. I’m not interested in relationships anyway.
But unfortunately, thanks to my success, I need a new secretary.
Or rather, I’m being forced to take on a new admin, and the conditions are clear—I’m not allowed to fire her for … clear—I’m not allowed to fire her for a year.
Nothing like having rules sprung on you in your own company.
So I hire a single mom with a pretty smile. Everyone likes her.
Everyone but me. She’s got more fire than I expected.
And no matter how abrasive or aloof I am, she presses harder against me.
I’m falling for her stubborn nature and finding myself wanting to bend my rules of relationships to please her in any way I can.
And then… she leaves. Quits without warning.
Seems she has a secret.
One an orphan like me can’t swallow without choking.
My baby.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Audio Review
Willow and her son have had a tough time until she lands a job that will help them move up in life that is until she and her new boss are doing more than working together. Ashton has never allowed himself to get close to anyone but when Willow comes into his life he finds he needs her for more than his secretary.
Joshua Brucculeri narrated this book and it was my first time listening to him. He does a good job of telling Ashton and Willow’s story.
This is a good story line about not only a single mom but the struggles her son goes through and also watching the moody Ashton grow into a caring man.
I had a lot of fun reading this book. Ashton and Willow were a match from the start. She knew how to deal with him and his antics! She was an excellent mother and knew what she needed. She wasn’t afraid to go for it. Highly recommend this book! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author.
I dare you to read this book without wanting to wrap your arms around the surly, rude and arrogant Ashton Wolfe who has, by his own admission, no friends, no who wants to be his friend and no one will ever love him.
Pretend for a moment you are single mom, Willow fired from yet another low wage job because you had to be there for your son. You come to work for Ashton in an unusual way and find managing him to be about the same as a 9 year old boy – only he’s most definitely all man.
This time when Weston Parker gives us our bad boy, it turns out he’s been convinced by life experiences he’s bad when he’s loving, intense and wildly passionate. Our good girl Willow sees right through him, never forgets she has to protect her and her son’s heart but has those arms that ache to embrace Ashton until he stops protecting himself from her.
I loved the book for its story and Weston Parker’s skillfully complex characters whose layers are slowly peeled away.
I absolutely loved this book! I had an immediate love for Willow, she’s feisty, strong minded, strong willed, she doesn’t take anything from anyone and her deep love for her son made me smile. Ashton is quiet, he’s business oriented, doesn’t think beyond those walls and I enjoyed his growth as the story progressed. The back and forth between Willow and Ashton had me smiling, had me flipping pages and completely pulled in. Throw in a good amount of heat and you’ve got yourself a great read.
This is a good and witty single mom romance. It is nicely developed and well written. I love the characters and the plot is very interesting. I really like Ashton and Willow! He is the CEO/founder of Wolfe Tailored Suits. He believes dressing for success. He is 34 and considered a very eligible bachelor but does do relationships; a bit of a playboy. Willow is a struggling single mother to a little boy, Jake, who is struggling with bullies at school. She loses her job when she is called to her sons school. She is desperate and manages to somewhat stumble into a position as Ashton’s unwanted but needed secretary. This is a witty and fun story with some sadness and angst. Overall, heartwarming and feel good story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
CEO Ashton Wolfe, all alpha male, thinks he is unlovable after his awful childhood and very successful billionaire is completely ‘rattled’ when his partner decides that he wants to leave the partnership and work elsewhere. Ashton never saw it coming. He was the nearest he had to a friend in his life and he really depends on him to do the social interaction aspect of the business. But when they’re discussing Kyle leaving they are approached by a young woman who hears them saying that Ashton needs a new secretary as he’s just fired the previous one. Willow is a single Mum to Jake [who is a great kid]and she desperately needs a new job having been fired herself because she had to keep leaving work to go to Jake’s school where he is being constantly bullied. Ashton is NOT impressed by the feisty young woman coming and offering to be his secretary, even if he does think that she’s gorgeous. But Kyle talks to Willow and, as he has already told Ashton that he will find a secretary for him, he employs her then and there as he recognises that she’s a single mum who needs and wants to work. Imagine Ashton’s shock when Willow turns up to report for work the next day! But he can’t fire her as he has signed a deal with Kyle that he cannot fire her for twelve months! This is a fabulous story by Weston Parker. It’s one that made me laugh, cringe a time or two [I loved when Willow showed up the three slimy creeps] as well as smile and I did have concern for my kindle heating up with the steaming scenes between these two passionate people. The chemistry between them is palpable and there are, of course, some twists and turns that make the storyline all the more interesting. As for her best friend -well we all need a best friend like her !!! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Grab a copy for yourselves asap! Most Definitely Recommended.
What a sensationally heartwarming new office romance from Weston Parker filled with passion, secrets, heartache, healing, forgiveness, friendship, second chances, and love. Ashton is a very successful clothing company CEO who holds everyone at arms length because of his rough upbringing. Willow is a struggling single mom desperate to provide for her young son. When Willow and Ashton first meet they are like oil and water but as a friendship develops and desire rages, they might just find what they have been subconsciously searching for. A captivating must read that readers will fall in love with.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
I loved Willow and Ashton’s Office Romance, and opposites attract. Willow is a wonderful single Mom, sassy, playful, independent, and smart. Ashton is an intriguing character. Their slow burn story is well written. They share a sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters are great, and they have an important part in this story. Jake, Willow’s son, is a great kid, mature, and smart. I loved Lilly (Willow’s best friend), and Kyle (Ashton’s business partner). I would love to know more about them. The happy ending is beautiful. I enjoyed it.
Every new book you being a is just gets better and better. This one’s was no different. The way that you described these two people made us feel like we were part of their world. We got to see the beginning turn into a much needed happy ending. I hope that Kyle will have his story told soon. Maybe Lilly and him. Hint, hint!! I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Absolutely loved it! Ashton is like a cocoon and Willow is going to help him spread his wings.
This is such an entertaining book. You can just see the changes in Ashton‘s personality as the book reveals it. Monday morning is Willow’s first day as secretary to Ashton Wolfe. Ashton hardly ever speaks and Willow is a snarky single mother of a nine-year-old boy. She is a cross between Chatty Cathy, the doll, and the energizer bunny. She is driving Ashton mad. She is too happy for him and has too much energy. He gets tired just watching her zip around all over the place. All he wants is quiet so he can work. She barges in his office without knocking, doesn’t take any bull from him, and is perfect for him. Just like Kyle said right before he quit. It takes a great woman or the perfect woman to bring down a man like Ashton. Ashton is so out of his league with Willow. Ashton is living in his big bubble that no one has ever penetrated. He keeps to himself and has no tolerance for slackers. He has never been around a woman like her and he has always kept to himself and just worked, worked, worked. She challenges him in ways he has never been challenged before and he is not sure if he likes it or not, but when she is not there, he misses her.
This book is great. It is hilarious. Willow is going to take care of Ashton whether he wants her to or not. She is going to take him down big time. You will be saying “you go girl“ before the end of this book. Absolutely superb.
Loved it – I loved this story. I read this book as part of an arc program but enjoyed it enough to buy a copy as well. This story is about Ashton and Willow. Ashton is a successful businessman buy he’s also a big jerk. He close minded with very little friends. When Ashton fires another secretary, Willow hears him talking about having to hire another and approaches them, telling them they should hire her. Willow is a single mother to a 9 year old son and needs to find work after losing her job because she had to leave to go to his school. Ashton refuses to talk to Willow, but his partner thinks she is who Ashton needs. Of course, sparks fly once they get to know each other but Ashton is stubborn and pig headed. Ashton also tells Willow he does not want children, and things get complicated when he finds out she has a son. A complicated but compelling story. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from the author.
Spring it on Me by Weston Parker was a great read. This was a story that I could not put down it hooked me from the very start. A very well written story and some really well developed characters.
This is a story about two people who are so very different from one another but have an incredible connection. We have grumpy domineering Ashton who is in need of a new secretary after he recently fired his old one. Then you have feisty lovable single mother Willow who is in the marker for a new job, when she hears two handsome men talking about needing a new secretary. This is just the start of a fun and exciting story because these two characters have some really great chemistry and enjoyable bantering. I for one loved Ashton and couldn’t get enough of him. I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it. In my opinion a must read.
What a wonderful whimsical story!!! Ashton is the CEO of an upscale tailoring company and he needs a new assistant. He hires Willow a single mom, which he can’t fire for one year because of a contract he signed with his partner. He throws tantrums and he doesn’t like her, but slowly she organizes his business and his life and soon he notices her for the wonderful sassy woman that she is. This is one story that you don’t want to end. and I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
A well written storyline with great characters, Loved Willow and Ashton. This story kept me turning the page, it will suck you in from the beginning until the end. Spring It On Me was a Great Book Loved it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I didn’t want Ashton and Willow’s story to end. They complement one another. Ashton has had a hard childhood. Willow is trying to show him he is more than his past. She is showing him that he can be a wonderful father and partner.
SPRING IT ON ME By Weston Parker
Ashton Wolfe is one hard man to deal with or to get to know. When his business partner takes a job in another company, the last thing he does before he leaves is hires Willow Patting to be Ashton’s new secretary with a fail safe put in place that he cannot fire her for a complete year. Ashton has a tendency to fire and not ask questions. He is closed off. Willow is a young single mom to son Jake. She shakes up his quiet orderly world and makes him aware of her in spite of his not wanting to be. Ashton and Willow have great chemistry, this was a very enjoyable 5 star read.
Ashton and Willow were wonderful characters and it didn’t take long to fall in love with them. Willow was a no nonsense firecracker and he was a lovable jerk. Their chemistry was explosive and over the top. She was just what he needed but didn’t know it. In fact he had no interest in a relationship, a family or anything permanent. He had lots of scars from junkie parents and years in abusive foster homes. The characters were well developed with lots of depth and personality. Willow and her precious son Jake were just what Austin needed in his life. Willow was a strong personality who didn’t take any of Ashton’s mess and made him soon realize that what he didn’t think he wanted was exactly what he needed. A new baby boy and an HEA. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. Another great book from Weston Parker.
Weston Parker’s books are getting better and better, and Spring It to me is not an exception.
This is a heartwarming story about a single mom, Willow, and an arrogant alpha arse, Ashton where their lives collided together thanks to unfortunate circumstances.
She is fire, he is ice.
She is witty, he is boring.
She is jovial, he is miserable
In a few words they are the opposite from each other, but that doesn’t stop the chemistry from growing and sizzle, creating an office romance like no other.
But it doesn’t stop there, oh no! There is the combination of feelings such as angst, drama, laughter, etc. that will have you turning the pages to find out what’s next, never a dull moment for sure.
And as always, Weston delivered another 5 read which a highly recommend.
Spring It On Me is another fantastic story by Mr Parker. It’s definitely a must read!! Loved Willow and Ashton story. Get ready for a roller coaster ride. I promise you’ll love it too!
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced readers copy provided by The Parker ARC Team for my honest opinion. Loved it!!
