I’m not an easy guy to get along with. Or so I’ve been told.
Something about over-domineering, alpha-hole, and rich rubs people the wrong way.
All good in the neighborhood. I’m not interested in relationships anyway.
But unfortunately, thanks to my success, I need a new secretary.
Or rather, I’m being forced to take on a new admin, and the conditions are clear—I’m not allowed to fire her for … clear—I’m not allowed to fire her for a year.
Nothing like having rules sprung on you in your own company.
So I hire a single mom with a pretty smile. Everyone likes her.
Everyone but me. She’s got more fire than I expected.
And no matter how abrasive or aloof I am, she presses harder against me.
I’m falling for her stubborn nature and finding myself wanting to bend my rules of relationships to please her in any way I can.
And then… she leaves. Quits without warning.
Seems she has a secret.
One an orphan like me can’t swallow without choking.
My baby.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Ashton owns a successful company and lacks any true friends or relationships. He was orphaned at a young age and learned to only trust himself. Willow is a single mom who is struggling to make ends meet and take care of her son. When Ashton is faced with Willow’s wonderful personality, they clash, they grow, they fall in love. Grab this wonderfully written story today! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
This was a great story! I enjoyed Willow and Ashton’s characters and the way their chemistry just jumps off of the pages! This was filled with angst and drama, wrapped up to be one heck of a ride! I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
4.5***** stars. What a purely and enjoyable book! Lots of laughing out loud! Ashton is the epitome of grumpy grouchy. Oscar has nothing on him. He needs a new secretary after firing his umpteenth. His business partner hires Willow with a one year contract that Ashton can’t fire her. She a feisty, snarky little thing and can throw back his barking. She just treats him like her nine year old son. Match made in heaven, not. Weston has written another great story to read. It’s a pleasure!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

The plot was great and the dynamics and HOT chemistry between Willow and Ashton kept me totally glued to my kindle until the turn of the very last page! I always look forward to reading what Weston writes next!
The author brings an opposites attract romance between CEO Ashton and his newly hired secretary and single mom,Willow. He does a great job building the story and pulls you in with all the emotions as well as the humor throughout. I loved watching the sparks fly between them and enjoyed watching them come together. It’s well written with detailed scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked from start to finish. I loved and highly recommend this book.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
A fun well written story full of emotion, hot chemistry, but also humorous and sweet. Ashton and Willow were meant for each other. I volunteered to read this arc for my honest opinion.
Loved it way better then 5 stars . Must read . This author is becoming one of favorites.
Ashton and Willow will touch your hearts in this endearing story. Ashton doesn’t have any people skills and when he fires his secretary, his partner hires one with the stipulation that he can’t fire her for a year. Willow is a woman that knows how to take charge and demand respect. She is a no nonsense woman and her directness rubs Ashton the wrong way in other words they are total opposites. As they find a common place between them Ashton realizes he is opening up towards her and feelings are beginning to develop. But given his upbringing, can he hope for a happily ever after with the feisty Willow? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
A witty look at a single mom romance
Willow, a struggling single mom, overhears Ashton, clothing company CEO, talking with his business partner about an open position as his secretary. As the story progresses personalities clash, a working foundation is formed, and once lines are crossed they may never go back to the easy relationship they settled in. Weston Parker’s Spring It On Me is a witty look at a single mom romance with a jackhole starter that actually has a sweet center.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
While I enjoyed the book, I had some problems in connecting with the characters. Willow was more relatable for me because I was a single mom for many years and my son faced similar issues. I didn’t have the support person Willow did, however. Ashton was harder for me to like. He was just so abrasive I could not see how Willow would fall for him. After Ashton finally broke down the barriers and told why he acted the way he did, I could understand the defenses he put up. Anyway, it was overall a good read.
I received an ARC for my honest review.
Ashton And Willow’s Heartwarming Story Will Make You Laugh And Bring Tears To Your Eyes. Ashton’s Pain Is Palpable. Stick With It For A Beautiful Ending!
Ashton Wolfe, thirty-four, firmly believes that if you want the best, you must look the best. Dress for success. He took that idea and worked on it for the past decade, turning it into the third biggest tailored suit company in the country since it hit the market just three short years ago. The founder and CEO of Wolfe Tailored Suits isn’t satisfied with his success. He plans to continue to grow his business throughout his working days.
The millionaire is considered one of San Francisco’s most eligible bachelors, and he can turn on the charm when he wants to. But just as many women are attracted to his natural bad boy vibe – until they realize that he really is a mean-spirited jerk that has zero concern for how miserable he makes those around him. He isn’t terribly into women. He dates on occasion and enjoys the physical pleasures of a woman’s company, but he doesn’t do relationships. He doesn’t ever want a wife and kids. He doesn’t even have friends, other than Kyle, who has a small stake in the company and has worked with him the last three years. He has his business and a big empty house and he likes it that way. Nobody has ever stuck with him. Ever. He has no family. He learned at a young age to shut everyone out because it is easier than experiencing the betrayal when they leave.
Willow Patting, thirty, is a busy extrovert without a filter and never without a good comeback line. She doesn’t let anyone push her around. She has to be strong. She struggles as a single mother of nine year old Jake. Jake’s father disappeared once she told him she was pregnant, and it has been just her and Jake since. She hadn’t come from wealth and didn’t have a family to support her, but she did have her uber wealthy friend Lilly who was always there for her whether she needed a sitter or just to talk. Lately Jake has been the target of bullies, and when Willow is called to school for an emergency once again, she is fired for leaving her waitressing job mid shift.
Desperate for a new job, Willow stumbles into a secretary job with a one year contract – a dream come true. Kyle Dobbins hires her to be his partner’s new secretary, with specific instructions for her to be herself and not be intimidated by Ashton. When she shows up on day one she discovers that Kyle has already left the company and Ashton is not at all happy to have her working for him. But with her job guaranteed for one year and Kyle’s instructions in her head, she doesn’t hold anything back with Ashton.
Ashton and Willow’s relationship as employer and employee is far from traditional. She infuriates him and talks his ear off to the point of speechlessness. He hardly knows how to respond to her when she so often speaks to him like a mother might to her child. Yet over time Ashton becomes attached to her, and she sees behind the walls he has constructed. Slowly Ashton begins to get past his aversion to change and sees Willow as the beautiful woman she is. When they cross the line, they try to convince themselves that it is strictly a workplace romance. Nothing personal. But Willow is a mother, and Ashton never wants a family. When Ashton learns she is a mom, they have to address the stubborn elephant in the room.
Ashton and Willow’s heartwarming story will make you laugh and bring tears to your eyes. Ashton’s pain is palpable, while Willow’s thick skin and ability to bring him outside of his comfort zone, to release his feelings, is therapeutic for him. She sees bits of Jake in him, so she can’t help but want to be nurturing. They eventually earn a tearful happy ending.
There are several issues that merit mention. *Spoilers* First, Ashton sent a hooker to Kyle’s house once as a prank, which implies comfort on a personal level existed between them. This doesn’t jive with Kyle’s observation that in three years of working together he has learned nothing about Ashton. Certainly they would have a history that bonded them and gave him insight into who Ashton was. Second, Ashton was lacking in people skills, yet he walked into one of his shops and managed to very smoothly sell two suits, and can apparently charm women. So it is sometimes difficult to reconcile the two sides. Third, Ashton can’t place a woman who claims to be his baby mama, but later, without explanation, remembers that she used him for sex. Finally, the story drags for a while. The end, however, makes it a very worthwhile read!
Ashton and Willow’s story shows how a broken man with walls mile high can learn what love is from a no-nonsense mouthy single mom. The story is nicely written. The plot is fairly simple. The story is character-driven with well-developed characters. Ashton’s character is deep; seeing his evolution will have you in tears. Willow’s steady determination is exemplary. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Ashton and Willow. I rate this book four stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Urk! This pair. In so many ways they’re complete opposites but in others they’re frightfully similar. Everything Ashton’s achieved, he’s done so through his own hard work and perseverance. Willow has the ferocity of every momma bear worth her claws. But where Willow is outgoing and gregarious, Ashton could be the dictionary definition of an iceman. Together, their chemistry lights up every page of this book. Whether they’re fighting or f- er… making up, the sparks are always flying. I was a little distressed to see that this story almost took the secret baby route, and I was very glad to see it detour before it got that far. And once again, the ending is one of the cutest things I’ve read since the last Parker book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
4*
Ashton has just fired his secretary and learns his friend/ business partner wants out on the same day.
Willow is a single mum who has just lost her job after leaving work to see her sons teacher things are about to get harder.
Overhearing their conversations she puts herself forward for the job, Ashton is adamant not! He’s in for a shocking surprise.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book I loved the fact Willow was strong and stood up for herself
Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and it will suck you in from the beginning until the end. I absolutely loved Willow and her attitude and strength as a single mother. Bravo on Weston Parker for writing such an great book. Asher is a business owner but pretty much keeps to himself but when he is forced to keep a secretary for a year can he handle it or will Willow drive him nuts or will Willow find a into his dark soul and bring light to it?
