“Get your ass down here and help me manage this bar!” My sister’s call couldn’t come at a better time. I am at loose ends for various reasons and nothing sounds better than a month in Cancún during Spring Break. Nothing, that is, until Bridget Blaze–who looks like a goddess come to life—wanders into my bar. She’s here to work… just like me, but the attraction between us is so hot we find … hot we find ourselves throwing off our obligations almost as fast as we throw off our clothes.
It doesn’t take long to realize she’s way out of my league. She’s got it all together, a plan, a career, and no room for a guy who’s still figuring things out.
She’s got it all, where do I fit in?

This was a really good little read the storyline was really good and I really liked both Ash and Bridget they were great together. A great little read that is perfect for when you have a spare half hour. I really enjoyed it.
Bridget Blaze is in La Concha Azul with her friends from college to celebrate spring break.
Ash Griffin is 27, and is helping his sister out in Cancun, covering for her at her bar. He’s rethinking his carefree life after his BF died in a motorcycle crash.
Bridget has her s together and is working on her paper during break.
Ash lacks motivation and direction.
She’s so out of his league.
They enjoy themselves but when Ash ghosts on her she figures that it.
But there’s more to it than that.
Recommend.

A short story that will grip you from that start and have your heart racing as a surprise meeting gives you a romance that ticks all the boxes. This sweet, passionate and action packed story is a great read when you are short on time.
Bridget is on vacation with her girlfriends when she should be at home, finishing up her final thesis. Ash is helping her sister by working at her bar until she returns from maternity leave. He has no plans & no motivation to do anything. So why would a beautiful, intelligent, goal-oriented woman like Bridget like a guy like him? After their first meeting he knows he’s way in over his head with her, but as they get to know each other he can’t help but fall for her. What will happen when her vacation ends?
This was a good read about two people who are in different places in life. With Bridget’s encouragement Ash finally finds a purpose in his life. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series!
Sweet and fun little short read about all the going ins on a spring break.
****She stands up straight, her eyebrows arched in a question. “Do you always serve people lunch when you’re not open?”
I shrug. “I didn’t want you to leave.”
^^see, how sweet was that?? It was cute!
I like the characters, just wish this was a tad longer to have a bit more time with them. I like bond with Bridget and her friends! You can tell they are besties to the end! Besides just the spring fling, you get a little on the characters, Bridget with her schooling and Ash with him trying to find his hitch in life… and then there’s the little matter of the whole shakedown going on at Griffins bar. A lot packed into a short story.
Ash and Bridget meet in Cancun. The chemistry is immediate. When things are looking wonderful a twist happens and everything is left up in the air. Will they get to see each other again?

Bridget is on spring break with her girlfriends and she needs to do some more work on her thesis while she’s away. So during they day they split up and she works on it. On her first day on break she goes to Griffin’s Sand Bar for something to eat while she works. Ash is filling in for his sister while she was recovery from having a baby. When he sees Bridget all his problems slip away in the brightness of her smile. Bridget is immediately attracted to Ash and when he falls literally at her feet she tries to help him. They end up being together in the office of the bar. Ash doesn’t want things to end with Bridget especially when she doesn’t see him as the loser he sees himself as. When he starts looking into something it stirs up some trouble for him and when he doesn’t show up for their breakfast Bridget thinks he has ghosted her. Will Ash get a chance to explain what happened?
This is an amazing story that once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Spring Break in Cancun sounds fun and I love Ash and Bridget together. They have great chemistry and a spark that could turn into so much more. This is a well written novella filled with romance, mystery, suspense, drama and an unexpected twist.
Fiona Starr is quickly become one of my collection author. She does a great job of creating well developed characters that you can engage from the start. This book is no exception.

This is quite a good short story about romance and rightfulness. The storyline is quite good and despite this story being as short as it is it is remarkably good. It suffers a bit because of the shortness, but it is still quite good and grammatically correct at least as far as I can see, and badly spelled stories really irk me the wrong way but none of that here. Overall quite good and thus it is getting nice three stars. I felt it was missing the little bit to make it into four stars but non the less I can really recommend this one as this is only my opinion.

A well written short story with nice storyline and plot. Characters well defined. I like he is a bit clumsy sometimes because of her. Nice couple with nice chemistry and sparks flying. I liked that it is written in dual POV because that gives more of the thoughts and feelings to the reader. There is a lot going on in the story, and because of that I feel it should have been longer for all the things to settle for the reader. Mystery, drama, violence, kidnapping, romance, steam and twists are mixed to make it a nice read. Confusing at times but enjoyable and captivating.
Nice, short read for a relaxing afternoon.
Connection at first sight? Or is this only lust driven one afternoon stand? Starting relationship from the backwards often times doesn’t end well. Would this time be different for Bridget and Ash? Hot, sexy, passionate and with a little bit of twist that made things more interesting. Quick, nice read for a relaxing afternoon.
Wonderful spring break story
Here we get to know another Blaze Mountain gal. Bridget is on spring break with her friends. She is enjoying herself but still needs to work on her thesis because it’s due shortly after she gets back looking for a nice quiet place to work she ends up at Griffin’s Sand Bar. Since it’s early, it’s quiet. There she meets Ash. His sister owns the bar and he’s in town to help out for a month or so because his sister just had a baby. Ash is kind of floating right now, trying to figure out what to do with his life. They share a few moments and then much more. It all seems to be going well until Ash becomes a ghost. Bridget thinks he must not really be interested but Ash is actually caught up in the corrupt side of the hospitality business. Now he just has to get out with his life and find Bridget to make it up to her. Romantic, sexy story with an interesting crime story included.
Bridget is down in Mexico for a girls vacation, but she’s working on her thesis. With all the girls out, she goes to find food, but finds so much more! Ash is working at the bar when she comes and asks for lunch……He gave her so much more! A little crime action and rescue later these two get back where they belong. Short, sweet insta-love
This is just a fun little short story. A little bit of soul-searching by Ash. A strange incident with some criminals. A little bit of sex and a fun story for Bridget who may or may not finish her thesis. If you are looking for a quick read this is a good one.
