She was my everything. My best friend. My girl. My future. It was meant to be the night that marked the beginning of lives together. Instead, I was forced to walk away. That is, until our worlds collided once again. Now, I’ve only got a few days to prove I didn’t leave her willingly all those years ago. I’m prepared to fight to win her back, but what I’m totally unaware of is that it’s not just … unaware of is that it’s not just her heart on the line, and it wasn’t just her I walked away from that night.
She’s keeping a secret.
One that’s going to change my life forever.

Another great read in this spring break series. Only 4 chapters plus it was a great story. 10 years ago Lacey had a best friend and boyfriend and was loving her life until the day after prom and a night in a hotel. Her boyfriend,Wes, left and she never saw him again. When she sees him again whilst in Florida all her old feelings come back. But she has a big secret and is t sure how to tell him. Also Wes has a secret as to why he left. Will these two love birds get back together? A great set of characters and I loved her friend Bryony and cherry.

They were childhood sweethearts. Wes and Lacey had an intimate prom night and the next day he was gone. What he didn’t know was the state that he had left Lacey. Lacey is on her first vacation with her girls and wouldn’t you know it she runs into Wes of all people. Will their reunion be a happy one or one in which she goes up side his head?

I had fun reading Lacey and Wes story, their second chance at romance, to be the family they were meant to be.

Lacey hands Jacob to her mom as she joins Bryony and Cherry inside the taxi, heading off for a Spring Break celebration. They were a bit older than most revelers, but when Bryony heard that her two introvert friends had never done this before, she insisted on a few days away in Florida. Relaxing by the pool with the ocean view is fantastic! Lacey offered to go get drinks for her friends but, as she rummages through her purse for her money, she walks right into a man – one she has not seen for TEN years! Before they can say anything, a scream sounds at the other end of the pool and Wes has to leave her to see what the problem is. Lacey returned to her friends with their drinks and excused herself to go back to the room.
Back in high school, Wes and Lacey had waited until Prom night to go to a hotel and celebrate their feelings for each other at last. It was special for both of them. But something happened and Wes disappeared from her life the next day! Even after the danger ended, he was afraid to face her again. She had not changed much over the 10 years, her hair, eyes, and curves everything he had remembered or imagined. She had left the pool area, but her friends were there and he stopped to see what they were planning for the evening. Would he be able to convince her to give them another try? Would he tell her the truth of why he had to leave as he did back then? And would she tell him her own secret?
This was an enjoyable book. The mystery of why Wes disappeared at 18 was intriguing enough to hook the reader from the start. Meeting up with Lacey added another dimension to the story line as the reader knows the secret she may try to keep from him. Will they get back together? Grab your copy and find out what fate has in store for them!
I enjoyed reading about the characters Scott and Fearne. I thought this was a short sweet read. It was well written. I enjoyed the storyline and it was a page turner.

I really liked the back-story to this book. The characters have history, and the story builds up intrigue and mystery surrounding the details of the past. The whole way through the book I wanted to know what had happened and I devoured the book quickly to get my answers.
The characters were well-developed as they have skeletons in their closet and deep emotions that they have to deal with before we can get our happy ending.
It still had a spring break feeling to the book even through all the heartache the protagonist was going through. There were still fun and games happening with some of the other characters, and I look forward to getting to know them more (as promised by the author) in future books.
As always Tracy Lorraine manages an excellent job to create a perfect balance between story and blush moments and gets it just right, making this a delightful read.
Short, Sweet, and Romantic. A little more background and character build up would have been nice but still a sweet read.

Their first chance ended with heartache. Will the second time give them their happily ever after? Lacey and Wes were young and in love when a secret danger tore them apart. Now both are older, wiser and determined not to repeat the past. A chance encounter and a ten year old secret, could be the beginning of their second chance or the end of a romance that was never meant to be. Lorraine packs a ton of emotion into a tiny bundle of words.
I loved Lacey and Wes’s story. Ten years since they’ve seen each other and their chemistry was as palpable from the moment they see each other again. I could feel it coming off the screen. I can’t wait to read about Cherry and Bryony and what Tracy has planned for them.

When this book said secret baby. It’s not what I thought. Lacey and Wes were best friends and lovers 10 years prior to this spring break. Wes leaves due to something or another and things go in a different direction for Lacey. If you want to know more please feel free to read this book.

I’m surprised that he took it so well. He could have walked away from her but he didn’t. He had his reasons for running away. Valid reasons but its not true if you do better than your parents. It’s okay to be scared but don’t run away from your responsibility.
