Family ties prove deadly in this brilliant Jesse Stone novel from New York Times bestselling author Robert B. Parker. The body in the trunk was just the beginning. Turns out the stiff was a foot soldier for local tough guy Reggie Galen, now enjoying a comfortable “retirement” with his beautiful wife, Rebecca, in the nicest part of Paradise. Living next door are Knocko Moynihan and his wife, … door are Knocko Moynihan and his wife, Robbie, who also happens to be Rebecca’s twin. But what initially appears to be a low-level mob hit takes on new meaning when a high-ranking crime figure is found dead on Paradise Beach.
Stressed by the case, his failed relationship with his ex-wife, and his ongoing battle with the bottle, Jesse needs something to keep him from spinning out of control. When private investigator Sunny Randall comes into town on a case, she asks for Jesse’s help. As their professional and personal relationships become intertwined, both Jesse and Sunny realize that they have much in common with both their victims and their suspects—and with each other.

You can never go wrong with a Robert b. Parker book
Love Jesse and his escapades!
Standard Spenser fare – quick read.
Robert B Parker & Spenser or Jesse Stone. Makes no difference. Enough said.
I own every hardback published from Parker — or Ace Atkins, when he took over the story line. Now I’m collecting the Nook versions, just to have them handy on long trips.
If you are a detective fiction fan and haven’t read Parker yet, do it.
I love Robert B. Parker’s novels. They are so much fun to read. The dialogue is snappy and funny. SO entertaining!
Jesse Stone is one of my favorite characters !!!
Very good. I love JS.
Stone Barrington books are good books.
Never met a Parker character I didn’t like – or one who looks like Tom Seleck!!!
Love all the Jesse Stone novels. Great character development.
Always enjoy reading a Spenser book!
My favorite aspect of Robert Parker is his dialogue, and he does not disappoint in Split Image.
I liked this story a lot. Good characters and a nice story
Classic Robert Parker, though not Spenser. Two of his other notable though damaged characters. Witty dialogue is his forte. Never a dull moment or a dull character.
LOVE Jesse Stone.
I realy enjoyed this book I have enjoyed all of the Jessie Stone books that I have read.
Crisp dialog, a good character driven story with interesting sub-plots. Central mystery was very convoluted and in the end predictable, but it kept me reading.
I always like Robert Parker books, especially Jesse Stone.
Another good Jesse Stone novel. I always hope to see more on the TV in the future.
Love Robert B and Spenser. I read the series over and over
