Buying and renovating the old plantation house seems like a great idea. The fact that it’s supposedly haunted by the ghost of a murdered prostitute is a minor oversight. I don’t believe in that crap anyway. But after a late night rendezvous with a sexy spirit elicits a very real nocturnal emission from me, I have to rethink my belief in poltergeists…and love. The intoxicating woman who has been … been trapped here for over a century casts a spell over me with her humor, courage, and sexual talents. I know I have to do something to free her from her ethereal prison. But will my actions break the metaphysical chains holding her here, or will they release something darker into my new home?

I loved this ghost story! Blake and Margot were perfect for one another. I will have to say I wondered how this would be a happily ever after. I loved that he loved her enough to try. I loved the ending, and hope those others boys got their HEAs too!
This was another solid offering from this series. This story focused on a man who is renovating a mansion that everyone claims is haunted. The man not only meets a ghost but ends up being involved with her also. The book was funny, spooky and easy to read.
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book!
Fabulous story
I was surprised when this didn’t interlink with the first two books, but I still absolutely adored it. Margo and Blake are a very special couple and I fell so easily in love with them as they fell for each other. The story held me spellbound from the first line to the last, it even had me shedding a tear or two with it’s absolute beauty.
Spirited is one hot and steamy love story that will touch your heart. It is well written, captivating and fabulous. My only complaint, if you could call it such, is that I wish this had been a longer story just because I was enjoying it so much.
Although this one had me laughing out loud I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the other two before. As with the other two books that D.P. has written this one is also novella size, insta love story.
Margot is pretty fun and funny for a ghost, but I guess you have to be after so many years being stuck in one place. But when she sees Blake, for once she doesn’t want them to leave.
Blake is at the house to restore it to its natural glory. But he is not from around there so he has no idea the house he bought is hunted. When he starts hearing weird things he thinks he is going nuts.
Payne brings a ghost story to life.
I love it . I just wish it didn’t end like it did . I love Margaret and Brett love story
Perfect for Halloween, this New Orleans ghost story is a lot of fun!
Dead since a massacre at the brothel where she lived, Margot is stuck in the dilapidated mansion but still finds ways to amuse herself with those who dare to trespass. Until Blake and his crew show up to renovate the building, and Margot finds a new form of entertainment.
Blake can’t believe his own eyes at first, but he can’t deny the growing love he feels for Margot and his need to free her from her trapped existence. This story is filled with humor, a bit of sympathetic history, and enough sparks to light up the French Quarter. The HEA is brilliantly done, cleverly including Blake’s friends in the deal. It’s a terrific story, great for fans of ghost stories and romances alike. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
