Very informative and descriptive of the period. Not easy to read.
I couldn’t get into the story. After reading 30 percent, I gave up. I look forward to historical novels but this was awkward for me to read. It may be the dialogue mixed with passive voice descriptions that threw me.
I did not like this book and deleted it from my tablet.
I couldn’t get into this book. Very dry and uninspiring.
