I’m not fond of all the character’s internal thoughts communicated in exhausting fashion by this ( and most) female authors.
I read it, but it’s mental masturbation. Just something to spend time. Give me Barry Eisner, please!
Suspenseful police novel. Serial killers sends photos of the murder weapons to his victims. A detective losing control of his life. An FBI profiler who isn’t taken seriously. Good stuff.
This book is a real page turner and will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time you’re reading it. It is filled with lots of twists and turns and filled with suspense. I highly recommend this book and will try to read all of this book.
I’m hooked. Book one in the Glenmore Park Series got me connected to the characters! Can’t wait t see what happens in the next two books.
I’m always looking for a good book to read. A page-turner. What does that mean? A book that invites you into its make-believe world and smothers you in detail until it feels like you’re living inside it. A book with characters you fall in love with because they talk like real people and act on hidden psychological impulses similar to the ones that motivate us all. A book with an addictive pace and funny insights, but also deeper insights, too. Mike Omer’s “Spider’s Web” is all that. The point-of-view roams flawlessly from character to character, giving the novel a sweeping, cinematic feel. Mitchell Lonnie is a great protagonist – smart, flawed, funny, wry, grimly determined, in short very real – and the victims’ stories are compelling, too. Dreadful twists and a driving pace kept me hooked all the way through to the WTF ending. Highly recommended. I just bought the next one.
Great read
Enjoyed this book . Had a hard time putting it down . Action packed and unpredictable .
Hooked from page one. Well written and one I would definitely recommend.
good read!
Slow read
I really enjoyed it. I got it as a audible and I listened and finished it in 2 days. I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
I’ve read all three of this author’s books. All are very good and kept me wanting more.
It is an unusual police procedural. I really liked it because the story kept my interest and the characterization was excellent. I became very interest in the characters because they were different than I was used to in a book like this.
Fast read. Would recommend it to friends — and have!
A good read
This book was full of surprises. Lots of action and you don’t want to put it down.
Reason for yawns the next day — could not stop reading. Good writing style. No extraneous characters. Enjoyable humor that doesn’t get in the way of the story.
Kept me on edge of chair . Couldn’t put down.
Good read
This book was a real page-turner for me. The main characters were well-developed and presented as real people with flaws. The bad guy was creepy and a worthy opponent. I have already downloaded the next book in the series.
