A Warlocks MacGregor Novel Contemporary Scottish Paranormal Romance Let Sleeping Warlocks Lie… Iain MacGregor knows how his warlock family feels about outsiders discovering the truth of their powers, its forbidden. That doesn’t seem to stop him from having accidental magickal discharges whenever he’s around the woman who has captured his attention. Apparently his magick and other “parts” don’t … Apparently his magick and other “parts” don’t seem to care what the rules are, or that the object of his affection just might be his undoing.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregor boys who may or may not be wearing clothing and who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.

Stop and smell the roses
You can’t help but love these characters, with their hot looks and endearing accents, especially when they got up to shenanigans and show sibling affection by pulling pranks. I love how the author brought them to life with their inappropriate comments and random uses of magic. Not to mention that there is such a fantastically amazing story hidden in amongst the madness, where you aren’t quite sure love will win until the HEA. I throughly enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to see what those crazy MacGregors get up to next.
Loved Jane and Iain as a couple and Jane’s mother was interesting.
Jane’s abilities and her heritage were very different.
Wasn’t keen on the other Macgregor men freezing Iain all the time and how they treated Jane. I understand protecting the family but they ignored and dismissed Iain’s feelings and thoughts.
The family antics apart from their mistreatment of Iain was once again over the top funny but I am still worried about Charlotte.
Scott got off lightly and I hope he isn’t going to make a reappearance. What a scum bucket of a person.
There was also quite a few errors from chapter 21 onwards that should have been picked up.
Read through my library.
fun series
These magick men are gorgeous and wonderfully alpha!!
Jane has always been sickly. When she learns her time is running out she moves to Green Vallis, Wisconsin and opens her nursery and landscaping business. Ironically she can give life to plants but not to herself. When she starts hearing bagpipes and has visions, she knows the end is near. When she follows a procession of the very hot MacGregor men through the town to see one of them propose, she is drawn to one of the hunky men.
Ian is just a delicious parcel of awesomeness. His particular magick is with nature and plants. He is drawn to the lovely gardener and hires her to help with the family estates renovation of the gardens. There are some humdinger of clashes between Jane and the matriarch of the clan. Well no one likes been called a…lady of negotiable affection!!!
We learn of Jane’s involvement in previous exploits and why she is so drawn to Ian.
This family are funny. They bring pranks and sibling rivalry to new heights. Think tampering with shampoo bottles, freezing siblings etc. What i wouldn’t give to have some of these powers!!!!
I haven’t actually read the first book in this series but I didn’t feel at a disadvantage as everything was explained succinctly. Can’t wait for more in this wacky family series!
Five star and worth more
I love the Warlocks MacGregor and all of the interactions between the clan. Family matters and they all look out for each other. Such a fun set of books! This is Iain and Jane’s story and I throughly enjoyed each and every moment! Highly recommend!
I love this series. I have read it out of order, but I don’t feel lost or enjoy it any less. In this book the MacGregor man we focus on is Ian. He meets a woman name Jane and he is instantly drawn to her. Never mind his mother thinks she is up to no good. Jane is anything but trouble. She actually thinks she’s dying. She sees ghosts and her whole life doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong with her. Then the truth that she didn’t know comes out and it turns out Ian is just what she needs. I loved how Ian was willing to go against everything his family thought and trust his heart with Jane. Their story is fun, adventurous, swoon worthy and so much more. If you haven’t started this series, do it now! This narrator has the perfect voice to give you all the swoony feels.
Loved this book…laughed at the antics of the mischievous pranks…can’t wait to read the next book to see how the family pranks continues…
This is such a wonderful story to listen to. The characters are very well done. This is the second book in the series. So we get great Information about the MacGregors. Plus all their fun little idiosyncrasies. Iain’s family is so much fun to watch and listen to.
Both of the main characters are done well. We learn about them as the story moves along. Jane is reserved and who wouldn’t be after the non welcome from Iain’s mother. I am not surprised she ran from him.
As the secondary characters….I LOVE this family! Each one alone just puts a smile on my face and together they make me laugh. What a crazy delightful family to be involved in. The brother and sister shenanigans vs the older adults and I can’t decide which I love more.
I listened to the on audio. The narrator is simply wonderful to listen to. When he (as the character) gets going in Scottish that is wonderful for my ears. I LOVE listening to him!
This is book Two of the MacGregor Family story. So good! Love the Family They are Cute Funny and entertaining. Jane is a great character also she is a good person and you want the best for her, You keep reading hoping it all works out. So good read it in one day.
Great book
Typical. Nothing special
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This series is AWESOME!!! The family is so wacky you can’t help but fall in love with them!!
What could be better than a wickedly irresistible Scottish warlock? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The family & friends are a hoot & I strongly recommend that you read each and every book in this series. Each with delightful characters & their own HEA. And Uncle Raibeart!
This series is a delight!
This may be biased but something the MC says during her internal monologue just made a lukewarm book not worth any further exploration. Something along the way of “society has men scared to be *real* men” and that “real men take what they want”… [valley girl voice] “uhh but not like rape, ‘Kay!?”
This author seems to think a REAL man would definitely force his way on somebody romantically if he *thinks* he has her non-refusal…
If you have some deep seated rape-adjacent fantasy then this series is probably for you, but stay away otherwise. I feel like I need a shower.
