Ryan Axston may have been my brother’s best friend, but he is so much more than that to me… He was my first everything. Kiss. Sexual encounter. Love. Ax had my whole heart, but he had no freaking clue.He always wanted to be a Marine. It was in his blood. The day his brother was shipped home in a body bag, Ax signed up and left town to do his duty to his country.I forced myself to move on. I … to move on. I really thought he was gone forever.
When he showed back up wearing the Unacceptables’ skull and bones on his back ten years later, I thought I’d be able to fight all the old feelings I had for Ax. I was older, wiser, and unofficial godmother to my best friend’s adorable little girl, Annie.
But all he had to do was crook his finger and it was as if I was 17 all over again. I wasn’t willing to sit back and let him tear us apart again. This time I was going to fight for what I wanted. But not even my love could stop a bullet. One of us was going to have to make a life-altering choice. Would it be me, or him?
18+ for sexual situations, language, and adult content.
It is a MC romance!
UNDENIABLE is the sixth book in the UNACCEPTABLES MC Series but can be read as a STANDALONE!

Kristen Hope Mazzola does it again! This time she adds the twist of a second chance and mixes it with an outlaw MC plus Marines (hoorah ) back story. To watch Ryan do what’s necessary to take what is his and then do the right thing when they find out about their little surprise is rereshing. I love the Unacceptable series and was not disappointed at all by this one. It’s just the right amount of the biker world and romance. Cassidy and Ryan are a perfect match.
Ten years ago Cassidy and Ryan were friends, he was her brothers best friend and she was the younger sister who had a mad crush on her brothers friend, but no one really knew about that little secret… that is until after a night of drinking Cassidy makes her crush known to Ryan. He told her when she was sober they could talk about said crush, but until then nothing would happen. But the man Cassidy knew started to change before her very eyes, and then he announced he was walking away to join the same dangerous world his brother gave his life too. When he left it broke her heart, and he didn’t keep in touch, and it’s been ten long years since they’ve laid eyes on one another, so their little reunion is sure to be filled with lots of tension! And maybe a few heated kisses too!
Between the pages of Undeniable you will find a sexy little reunion story that will warm your heart, and curl your toes!! I really enjoyed meeting this pairing, their little reunion story put a squeeze on my heart, made me smile, and left my fingertips feeling the heat with each page I swiped…definitely a hot little addition to the series! Loved this one it had angst, steam, and loads of emotion, highly recommend; it’s certain to leave you satisfied!
I requested an advanced copy of this title and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Cassie and Ryan have been in love since they were teens. When Ryan’s brother, Camron, was killed in the war he figured he should do something to remember his brother by joining too. Cassie would have waiting for him, but Ryan didn’t want her to do that. Now several years later they meet again by accident, but she’s engaged, but the old sparks fly. Ryan, aka Ax, is part of the mc now and doesn’t think it’s a place for her to be. When something puts her in danger he has to choose between the MC and Cassie.
As always, Kristen Hope Mazzola gives us a perfect fast paced romance that sweeps you off your feet. This was a tale of a second chance romance between Ryan and Cassidy.
Ryan has a lot of demons coming back from the war and now being a part of the MC. But seeing Cassidy again throws him off kilter. Cassidy feels that pull when she sees him again for the first time in years. And the heart knows what it wants.
Overall, this is a great addition to the Unacceptables and my only complaint is that I need more! I adore this world that Mazzola has created!
Cassidy had been in love with Ryan Axston for years, but never said a thing because he was her brother’s best friend. Things changed, however, when Ryan’s brother was killed while serving his country. When Ryan enlists in the Marines, she is forced to let him go.
Being a Marine was in Ryan’s blood. Trying to cope with the loss of his brother he enlists and never looks back. Even after the Marine’s he is lost until he finds his place in the brotherhood of the Unacceptables MC Club. For ten years, he’s run from his feelings, but all that changes with one glimpse of Cassidy.
Will Cassidy let Ryan walk back into her life after ten years of no contact or has she moved on enough to marry the man she is engaged to? Can Ryan finally come to terms with his feelings and what he truly wants out of life or will he keep running and find his salvation in the arms of the Unacceptables rather than the woman he has secretly loved for years? When bullets begin to fly, life altering decisions will need to be made . . . will it be the club or Cass who ultimately wins Ryan’s heart?
If you are a fan of the Unacceptables series, you will enjoy this book. It’s a very quick read that I wish contained a bit more back-story to get readers caught up to the present. I also wish the main characters were a bit more fully developed, as if often difficult to do with a novella length story vs a full length novel.
It is a very fast moving plot that focuses mostly on the MC club rather than special forces (It is definitely an mc book rather than military.) It’s a fun story of a second chance at love and life if both Ryan and Cass are willing to take that leap of faith. 3.5 stars.
This was a pretty good read. I have read a few stories by this author and within this series, but all out of order. I was a bit lost with who the secondary characters were in this story, but it did not affect my enjoyment of the plot.
There were a few minor editing errors but nothing too distracting. I enjoyed the plot and the characters of Cassidy and Ryan, their love is everlasting. I understand that this was a novella, but it seemed a bit too easy, to simple, and very low in angst. I did not care for how easy they finally got together.
The epilogue is so very sweet and the perfect ending to this story. I will read more from this author and finish this series.
***spoiler***
One thing that made this a four star book for me (and this is purely a personal reason), is the ending of the story. I very much dislike stories where a character has to give up something in order to please the other; especially when they go into the relationship with eyes open. Ryan gave up the MC, a brotherhood and family, that helped him become then man he is and helped him deal with his grief and anger over losing his brother. There is a line in the story where we learn that Cassidy will not stay be with him if he stays in the MC. I find it selfish of Cassidy to ask Ryan to give up part of himself for her, EVEN if he is willing. Again, this is purely my personal pet peeve.
A great second change love story. I love MC books and this didn’t disappoint. Cassidy and Ryan were childhood friends turned lovers, until Ryan leaves for the military. He cuts off all ties with everyone from his past. Fast forward 10 years as Ryan runs into Cassidy. The sparks are still there but is that enough?
A great second chance book. You could feel Ryan’s emotions when his brother died. There were times when I wanted to reach through the book and shake Ryan to wake him up.
It is a face paced book. I felt there were some areas where it felt like there was a gap (breakup with Nick and Ryan’s parents). I was happy with the ending. I love a HEA. I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. You are a wonderful author Kristen. Thank you!!
