All I want for the holidays is the secret potion that’ll help me resist my brother’s new business partner. You know, the super hot, super sweet, super smart guy I now have to plan the holiday party with.I mean, really. Who thought THAT was a good idea?Oh, me. Yep, brilliant, strategic me who raised her hand and said yes I’d love to hang mistletoe with that sexy former sports star. I’d love to … love to taste test spiked hot chocolate with that charming, flirty man. I’d love to get snowed in with the one guy I shouldn’t fall for.
As long as I can make it through the holidays I’ll be on my merry way, fa la la la la. But the holidays have a surprise for me.

I’m not one for Christmas stories, but who can say no to a Lauren Blakely story even if it’s a holiday one? And so I went all in this novella and loved everything about it: the characters, the storyline, the delivery and every single holiday reference.
Vaughn and Quinn are both on a dating hiatus and are both happy people and Christmas lovers. Of course, they have an instant chemistry and the attraction is put to the test when they are tasked with planning a party together.
I’m convinced nobody can deliver a story the way Ms. Blakely does and I wasn’t surprised to fall in love with Vaughn and Quinn, their relationship and their love for the holidays.
Special Delivery is a feel good story from beginning to end and, in my case, the best one to start the holiday themed reading frenzy.
5 eggnog loving stars
Special Delivery is a perfect novella set in the magical season of happiness and good will to all men!!!!
It’s a quick fun entertaining read that still packs a mighty punch, you will laugh and you will smile a lot as you get to know Quinn and Vaughan. Quinn is a party planner and Vaughan is a sports agent both sworn of relationships, both determined to stay celibate until the New Year but that’s about to change because this couple start the flirting and witty banter from the moment they are introduced to each other when Quinn is bought in to plan the Christmas Party !!!!
This story will certainly have you excited about the holiday season as you join this couple on their quest to find the perfect venue as well as the perfect food, drink and decorations. This is a feel good romance that will warm your heart , it’s funny and frisky just what you need for the magical festive season that’s fast approaching. Special Delivery is a must read .
Special Delivery is like Lulu’s Hot Cocoa Hot, Sweet, spike it with tequila and you get spice. This is an insta love story between Sassy Quinn and the hot Vaughn. Both are on a diet of no love or romance but when they meet the just can’t help themself, the chemistry is off the charts. This is another hit for Lauren Blakely.
Special Delivery is a cute read that will get readers in the mood for the holidays. Vaughn and Quinn were wonderful characters and Lauren gives a hot and jovial storyline. They had a flirty fun chemistry that couldn’t be denied and I enjoyed seeing their relationship progress. Their banter was just great. And of course getting the interconnections from Lauren’s other books was fabulous. Overall this was a quick, entertaining, and enjoyable novella.
Lauren does it again, and if you’re not in the holiday spirit yet, this one will put you right in the Christmas mood! 5 Christmas presents (not peeked in yet) for this one!
When Vaughn’s business partner Josh wants to plan a holiday party, Josh asks his sister, Quinn for her expertise in helping Vaughn plan it!
When Vaughn and Quinn sit down to talk about this party, the banter they share makes Vaughn feel like he’s found his other half. Unfortunately, they’ve both sworn off relationships for now, but the attraction is so strong, and they are having so much fun! Will they throw caution to the wind and go for it? Read along and find out!
Quinn has to be my favorite female character, I feel like Lauren got in my head and wrote me as Quinn!! LOL(She didn’t) I instantly fell in love with these two, I know you will too! Grab this when it releases, and be ready to ring in the Christmas season!!
A holiday novella that is so, so flirty it jumped into the absolutely adorable category. Quinn and Vaughn are cute and sugary sweet, while being just a touch dirty, they are the perfect couple that Blakely could have delivered for the holidays!
Special Delivery is a novella set in the Satisfied world, where we just met Quinn’s brother, Josh Summers and briefly met Vaughn Channing when he was competing for a same sports contract against Josh before ultimately beginning a new agent company with Josh and two others, called Premiere.
Both Vaughn and Quinn have been burned by ex’s before and they are currently not dating, looking to date, or even looking for brief flings. They are both so entrenched in not looking for love that it seems inevitable that it would be hand delivered, on a platter, right to them.
This Christmas, wrapped up in a bow, special ordered, and waiting under a Christmas tree (no peeking Quinn) there is a special delivery waiting for these two, if they both stop protesting how much they don’t want to date.
If you love Hallmark movies, with a splash of dirty…you will love Special Delivery.
Couldn’t get enough of Vaughn and Quinn!!
If you’re on the lookout for a sweet, but very steamy holiday romance, then look no further. Special Delivery is what you’ve been scouring the internet for.
Remember Vaughn? We caught an interesting glimpse of him in Overnight Service with Haven Delilah and Josh Summers. Well, now Vaughn is partners with them and he’s been tasked with organizing the company’s party for the festive season. He’s helped by Josh’s sister, Quinn and even though both of these two have sworn off relationships, it takes just moments in each other’s company for their vows to get thrown aside.
They have a wild and intense chemistry and fight it though they do, it’s not long before the succumb. But Josh is leaving town in the New Year so their hookup, can only be just that. A hookup.
Of course, plans go awry, feelings get gooey and then there’s that ‘special delivery’ that is a game-changer.
This is the ultimate feel-good book for the holidays. It’s guaranteed to make you smile, laugh and swooooon, at all the mushy goodness contained within its ‘gone too fast’ pages.
Grab this will you can and at its sale price, it won’t stay that low for long.
5 stars is not enough for this book!
This story is set around Christmas time and who doesn’t love a good romance around the holidays! This is the story of Vaughn Channing who we met in Overnight Service and Quinn Summers who is the sister of that hottie Josh Summers. The chemistry that these two had right from the moment they met was so beautiful and hot. I loved the way that they bantered and flirted with each other over silly Christmas things. Vaughn is such a laid back and charming man and is the complete opposite of Quinn who has to plan everything down to the littlest detail. I love the way these to complemented each other. Another winning story from Lauren!
This was a really sweet instalove holiday novella. Vaughn and Quinn were fantastic together and I loved their banter and chemistry. They were playful and sexy, but I appreciated their honesty with each other the most. They were mature adults that spoke openly about their wants and feelings and didn’t let any surprises derail their growing connection. There’s just enough drama to keep things interesting, but Special Delivery is a light and fun read that will get you in the holiday spirit. This little novella can be read as a standalone, but characters from Lauren Blakely’s previous books do appear. I’m excited for Amy’s story next!
*I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*
What a sweet and sexy read. Ms Blakley did a wonderful job with her first holiday romance. Quinn and Vaughn had such chemistry and connection right out of the gate. They seemed to click so easily. I loved the way each had a plan swear off getting involved with someone and focus on work because of what each went through in the past year. Well, that was a total fail once they met. I liked how they enjoyed figuring out how to plan the office party and how they just couldn’t seem to keep their hands off one another. Both were worried about how Josh would feel about their relationship and the worries of what would happen come the new year. I loved the ending and how everything worked out for them. Wonderful HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Special Delivery by Lauren Blakely is a special spicy, steamy and sweet treat for you wrapped in festive happiness and fun. I devoured it in one sitting as it was absolutely amazing!
I first met Vaughn and Quinn in Overnight Service. Vaughn, ex celeb football player is business partner of Josh and they run this top sports agency together. Along with Josh’s wife. Now their agency is throwing a Christmas party for their clients. And who can be better than Josh’s sister and party planner extraordinaire Quinn to organize this. Vaughn has been tagged along to help her. Problem? Both of them have sworn of dating or any sort of romantic thing. Both of them are falling for each other. And the biggest problem is the surprise that will change all their plans to keep it simple.
I loved how Lauren Blakely created the magical chemistry between Vaughn and Quinn with little touches. Christmas shenanigans play a big role and I enjoyed the warm fuzzy celebratory mood so much. Quinn is so vibrant, cheerful and pretty with her overorganizer mind and loving heart. And Vaughn is gorgeous and charming with his razor sharp wit, flirting smiles and pure gentleman behaviors hiding a sexy devil. Their chemistry is adorable and crazy hot at the same time. I was swooning big time the way they fall in love. Funny, flirty, cute and passionate.
Special Delivery has everything I love about any Lauren Blakely story. It made me laugh and smile. It made me happy. It gave me all kinds of swoonworthy and warm romantic feels. A perfect little delicious christmas gift from Lauren Blakely.

I absolutely loved this book and Quinn & Vaughn too! This is such a cute story filled with smart witty banter and many sweet and spicy moments. Quinn & Vaughn are so lovable and they’re just perfect together, something that becomes pretty obvious to them when they spend time together party planning. Their love of all things Christmas is just too sweet! I love the direction their story takes them with their special delivery! Another sexy and funny new RomCom from the master herself, Lauren Blakely!
This book was short and sweet. A book about Vaughn who meets his business partners sister Quinn and the attraction is immediate. This is a Lauren Blakely book so it won’t surprise anyone that this book had great characters with plenty of humor and a super cute love story.
The only fault I could find for this book, was it’s too damn short! I need more of Vaughn & Quinn! This was a quick, sweet holiday read with a great storyline & group of characters.
4.5 ’s.
Here is a great Christmas novella to get you in the mood for the holidays. It’s quick, it flirty and it’s all wrapped up like a sweet present.
We met Vaughn in the previous books, and he is now a partner in the new agency. He heads off on a business dinner with Josh to catch up with Josh’s sister, the party planner. As Josh is being detained by a client, Vaughn and Quinn hit it off from the get go. It is a love at first sight connection but as they have both sworn off dating, it’s torture for them. The feelings they have over the next few days are overwhelming. Their chemistry takes them by surprise, they love the genuine and truthful approach they have. They both enjoy good banter and humor, they have a bright outlook on life and are completely open with each other. I snort laughed at Quinn’s burst of honesty at the office Christmas party. She goes in with a plan, and all it takes is hearing Vaughn’s voice in her ear that had her confessing straight up to her surprise.
Even though this story is concise, you get a full picture of their romance with the epilogue. Great story to start of the holiday season.
4.5+ stars
This is sweet, flirty, sexy, and fun holiday novella with all the fa-la-la-la-feels.
Vaughn Channing is an ex-pro football player who is finally happy in his life and in his work as a sports agent since he is working with his friends in their own firm. And it shows. He is easy-going, charming, and not afraid to just go with the flow. He has plans to move away to open an extension of their firm and be near his family. Work is his primary focus. He is on a no-women, no-complications diet and plans on keeping that way.
Quinn Cummings is his business partner’s sister, and he has been enlisted to help her plan the firm’s holiday party. She is detail-oriented, organized, and a consummate planner. She does not like surprises and thrives on control. She needs to be able to plan for every possibility. Focusing on her event planning business helped her get over a bad break up, and she is adamantly on a men hiatus.
But neither one expected that their resistance and anti-romance vows would be tested at a business meeting. That they would spark with chemistry, and that their banter would be constant and entertaining. And that they would have a lot in common, while also having fundamental differences. Or that these not-date planning meetings would feel like perfect dates. And that they would get carried away during the time already known to have an expiration date.
They both know the score. They realize it is dangerous for hearts to be involved. And they find ways to talk themselves into what they want while convincing themselves it will all be fine in the end since they have a set plan.
But when the holidays and their time draw near, what surprises might be coming their way?
I really loved Quinn and Vaughn, and this novella is just adorable. They are so much fun together and their rapport just made me smile. Their chemistry is undeniable. The holiday background makes you want to put on a comfy sweater, enjoy a hot chocolate, and sing Christmas songs with them. I enjoyed spending some time with their families too. Vaughn was dedicated to his family even though they lived away. We already know her brother, Josh fell for Haven (Overnight Service). There seems to be a story brewing with her sister, Amy already. And who knows about her sister, Tabitha who lives in Paris. But I love this extended group so bring them on!
